About: Hi I’m Lillian! I have always loved caring for animals since I was a young child. My family and I have owned and lovingly care for 3 dogs, 4 cats, and a horse. I have 6 years of experience working as a certified veterinarian assistant and kennel technician. I am currently working full time at Pleasant Valley Vet Clinic as a veterinary assistant. As an employee, I have been responsible for walking dogs, cleaning kennels, feeding animals, setting up, assisting, and cleaning up after appointments and surgeries, bathing animals, trimming their nails, ear care, and de-worming! I pride myself in being punctual, professional, compassionate, and highly responsible. I would love the opportunity to walk your dogs or house-sit for your pets as well. I currently work 4 days a week as a veterinary assistant, but have 1 hour lunch breaks to come let out your furry family member! I am very available outside of work. We currently have many pets in our own home, however I am more than willing to come to your home in order to care for your pets. I am available to take them for walks, feed them and care for them, doing whatever I need so that your pet is comfortable while you are away. I am available to stay the night at your home, or just come over throughout the day as needed. I will even give you’re pooch a spa day if requested!

“Michelle was so amazing, it warmed my heart to know someone was actually giving my cat love and attention as much as I would because that’s usually a pet owners biggest fear. I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. Michelle was perfect !! letting my cat slowly warm up to her presence visit by visit. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. I would get photos of gigi playing, running, and cuddling which is not her norm for when she meets new people so i was very happy with that.There wasn’t a moment where I was worried about my gigi. Michelle is so nice and compassionate and sweet and it shows because my gigi warmed up to her, she responds to messages and updates me where i felt reassured and comfortable, I could not be happier that i found her to take care of my cat and i was honestly lucky to have her as my pet sitter.I would definitely choose her again over anyone if I ever had to leave my cat again but in general with any animal because she actually cares.”

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of a wide variety of animals, and have a senior husky of my own who is my family. Compassionate care and enrichment is my specialty - exploring sniff spots, play time, having a calm demeanor, and understanding animal behavior is essential to ensure they are happy and healthy! I have logged over 500+ hours as a wildlife rehabber, which includes caring for a variety of animals with different needs and diets, administering medication, and even tube feeding the young so they can eventually be placed back into their natural habitat. Originally from Topeka, I've volunteered extensively at Helping Hands Humane Society and now at the Lawrence Humane Society, spending time in the cat and dog socialization areas. Pets are our family. Whether your dog loves long adventures, leisurely walks, or simply relaxing at home, I'll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is being treated with the same care and attention I'd give my own. I work a remote job which means I have flexibility to take care of your pet(s) throughout the day, and of course flexibility in the evenings and weekends. I am highly active and take advantage of getting steps in, and what better way to do that than with a furry friend (or two)! I currently do not offer in-home care at this time due to limited space. However, I am available to visit your home for check-ins and walks.

About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. I live a few blocks from the Eudora Elementary school and love walking the trail that goes behind it. I find joy in watching my own animals run and play. I treat all animals as if they were my own children. I currently work through the week but I am looking to grow my clients through Rover so I may watch animals full time as I absolutely love them! Right now I am available in the early afternoon/evening and most weekends to do check-ins. I currently work from home and can do doggy day care or boarding through the week and your pet will not be left alone. I hope to be able to watch animals full time eventually. I am married and have a 7 year old son. My husband and son share in my love for animals. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who are super spoiled just like our son. We love to play and cuddle as a family. Our favorite is to cuddle up on the couch with our fur babies and watch a movie. In the client's home I will respect specific requests and respect your home as if it were my own. I can assure a safe, loving, and loyal friend to walk/care your animal. I will gladly take and send picture updates while with your pet to help ensure your pets safety. About: Hi! I go by Ronan and am currently a student at KU (Rock Chalk!) studying elementary special education. I have always had a deep love of animals! My family has had at least 3 dogs my whole life, on top of a cat and three rabbits, all of which I have had a hand in taking care of as soon as I was old enough for chores, and eventually majority of the responsibility in feeding, walking, and playing with them, in addition to the general upkeep that comes along with pets. I also have many years of experience looking after other family's pets, with the largest family consisting of 6 dogs, 2 cats, and a whole reptile room! I have been a part of 4-H and competed in multiple FFA competitions for plants, animals, and vetrinary science for most of my life. I still want to keep working with animals, even though I have my own sweet fur baby cat. I am extremely active and love playing with animals until they're worn out (if thats what they want) or just giving them tlc! As a student at KU, I leave for class around 7:30 every weekday morning and return around 4 PM, except on Wednesdays and Fridays, when I return around 6-6:30 PM. On weekends, I have flexible availability! I live in an apartment, but it has a lot of open space, and I live close to parks such as South Park and North Park. I have a sweet girl cat who loves all living creatures. I can easily crate any pet who needs to be crated, and I have plenty of forms of enrichment! If in your home I of course will only go into areas you tell me, and will make sure your space is as nice as you left it :) I will also make sure to be careful with doors if needed if there is a chronic escape artist.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.

About: I have taken care of my family's own dogs and neighbors' dogs since I was 14. I have experience training obedience and I raised and trained my own puppy at 17. I have experience with various training methods including R+, and I have extensive experience with high energy dogs. I have a flexible schedule, so I can be there to take care of animals while you are at work or on vacation multiple times a day. All pets are beloved companions and will be cared for as my own pets. I take my responsibility in looking after your animals very seriously.

Terra was so flexible when we had to make some last minute changes to her care schedule due to our kitty, Nickel, coming down with a UTI the morning we were leaving for vacation. Terra proceeded to take such great care of Nickel. She kept us regularly updated about how Nickel was doing, and sent pictures, which were so comforting to see. Nickel was not so sure about taking his meds from a new person, but Terra did a great job working with him and trying different strategies to help him. All-in-all, Terra went above and beyond in so many ways, and we feel so fortunate that our little guy was in her care. We definitely highly recommend, Terra!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats since I was 11, including during their illnesses and senior years. Friends and family often ask me to house-sit, feed, entertain, and care for their pets while they are out of town for any amount of time. I have a wide range of experience including kittens, birds, rodents, and large dogs. I currently work part-time/seasonal on a flexible schedule. I am available for all kinds of care outside these hours, including walks, drop-ins, and home sitting. I live in a home with a fenced yard with my three pets, which does not make it ideal for hosting. I do live in a fairly quiet neighborhood where I am able to walk dogs for a long distance without much strain.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: I started pet sitting a couple years ago for my family and friends and it’s truly a job I love doing. I have experience with pet sitting several different dogs, varying in age and breed. I have experience with senior dogs. My responsibilities while pet sitting dogs included taking dogs on daily walks, preparing food and water, administering medication, and even giving baths. I’m currently a college student at the University of Kansas, and I am taking classes on the weekdays. I have selected that I’m available on all weekdays, because I have several gaps between classes that will allow me check on and take care of your pets every 2-4 hours.
