“Michelle is wonderful. Besides being professional, friendly, and dependable our cats LOVE her. She took great care of them including brushing and playing. We highly recommend her and we plan to use her for our future pet care needs!”

About: I have been around and taken care of dogs for my entire life, I love dogs and I work extremely well with all that I have encountered. I am currently a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care throughout the week. Since I’m not tied to a strict 9–5 job, I can adjust easily to your pet’s routine, whether that means morning walks, afternoon drop-ins, or evening playtime. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the specific instructions you provide and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and respectful of your home and your pet’s unique needs. Whether it’s medication, late-night potty breaks, or just extra cuddle time, I’ll make sure your pet feels secure and cared for.

“Shanelle went above and beyond to ensure our cats were well-fed and happy for the week were out of town. She kept in regular contact with us on the app with daily updates and pictures. She was also right on time with the initial visit. I would not hesitate to hire Shanelle again.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 13 and house sat since I was 15!! I was also a kennel tech for a year! This included giving medication, bathing, feeding, and just plain old watching the pets! I know CPR for our fury friends too! I have two dogs of my own as well as four cats so I am completely comfortable with a variety. I am a college student working on my masters online while working another job as well. My schedule is pretty straight forward for me so pet care will fit well as long as I keep my calendar balanced. I am comfortable house sitting for both dogs and cats. I am more than capable of crating or letting pets out to potty. I usually keep treats on me anytime I care for a furry friend. When I walk animals, I usually go for 30 minutes to an hour so that they get the excercise needed. I also have bags for when they do their business on a walk.
About: Hi! I’m Sarah, an experienced, reliable pet caregiver and lifelong animal lover. My son and I recently said goodbye to our beloved dog of 12 years, and while we aren’t quite ready to welcome a new pet of our own, we deeply enjoy caring for animals and making them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have over 15 years of experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I take a thoughtful, individualized approach—meeting each dog where they are and offering just-right levels of activity, enrichment, and rest based on their needs, age, and energy. Our home is calm, clean, and well-supervised. We live near the levee and regularly walk the nearby forested river trails, which many dogs love for gentle exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I prioritize safety, routines, clear communication, and plenty of affection, including snuggles and relaxed indoor downtime. My 9-year-old son is kind, gentle, and very respectful with animals, and he especially loves quiet companionship and playtime (always supervised). Your pet will be treated like a valued family member, and you can expect dependable care, thoughtful attention, and regular updates while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for walks, play, and check-ins, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, to match your pet’s routine. Pets are always supervised in a calm, clean home. I follow routines, respect boundaries, involve my gentle, animal-savvy child appropriately, and communicate clearly with owners.

“Michele took great care of our cat Veronica. Our shy kitty even came out long enough for Michele to take a photo, which is a first in all of our Rover visits! Thanks for everything Michele!”

About: Hello! My name is Violet. I have a multitude of experience pet sitting for chickens, reptiles, feisty cats, and energetic pups. I myself have two big dogs at home, plus a corn snake and lovely kitty with me at school, so I understand the struggle of finding a trustworthy helper. I have been caring for animals at home for as long as I can remember, but have been working for other families in my area since I was 15. I look forward to meeting your lovely animals and helping you to provide them with the care they deserve. I am a student at KU, so my classes do play a role in my availability during the week. My classes begin at 11 most days and usually end around 3 with an hour long break between classes each day. I understand being a paranoid pet owner, so I always work hard to strictly follow instructions given to me. I personally enjoy providing enrichment to the animals I care for, wether that means playing fetch at the park or dangling a string in front of a cat tree.
“I have been so grateful to have Amelia check in on my cats, three separate times now. She is so reliable, prompt to reply and I will continue to utilize her services as long as I can! She is a lifesaver, every single time!”

About: Growing up I was never without a pet. We always had cats and dogs. I have helped care for pets since I was a little girl and often watched animals for family friends. I had my very first dog at 18 who turned out to be deaf. Taking care of him was not easy but so worth all the love we shared. Sadly he passed away from Cancer in 2013. I live a few blocks from the Eudora Elementary school and love walking the trail that goes behind it. I find joy in watching my own animals run and play. I treat all animals as if they were my own children. I currently work through the week but I am looking to grow my clients through Rover so I may watch animals full time as I absolutely love them! Right now I am available in the early afternoon/evening and most weekends to do check-ins. I currently work from home and can do doggy day care or boarding through the week and your pet will not be left alone. I hope to be able to watch animals full time eventually. I am married and have a 7 year old son. My husband and son share in my love for animals. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs who are super spoiled just like our son. We love to play and cuddle as a family. Our favorite is to cuddle up on the couch with our fur babies and watch a movie. In the client's home I will respect specific requests and respect your home as if it were my own. I can assure a safe, loving, and loyal friend to walk/care your animal. I will gladly take and send picture updates while with your pet to help ensure your pets safety. I'm also happy to help with an special accommodations your pet needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for neighbors, church friends, family, and personal friends. They rely on me to take their dogs on walks, play with them outside and/or inside, and feed them. I’ve taken care of dogs ranging from a dachshund to a St. Bernard. I’m currently working part time with flexible hours. I have availability to care for your pets before work, during my lunch break, and after work, and on the weekends. I live in a townhouse community that offers an unleashed dog park for my pup. I take her on walks every day around our neighborhood and get some running and playtime in when we visit the dog park. I also often take my dog to an unleashed dog park at a community park that has a more open space for her to freely run around. As for care, my dog gets fed twice a day, administered oral medication, and let out to potty typically 4-5 times a day.
