About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. About: Ya know that child that has a heart for anything living? That child that wants to nurture even the wooly caterpillar or the slimy toad? Well, that was me and I’m still that child at heart today. If there was a stray within a 5 mile radius of my home, we’d find each other and become family. To this day, if I see an animal in need I cannot turn away. At the age of 11 I began sitting and walking my Aunt Linda’s Pekingese, Toyboy. Toy and Auntie taught me from a very young age the importance of keeping animals safe and respecting their personal boundaries as well. Animals ARE family members and should be treated as such. I’ve spent ample time as a volunteer in local rescue shelters, fostered adoptable dogs in my home and have always had at least two pets of my own consistently (the most at one time was six, and, honestly, it was a little slice of heaven to me). My personal experience as a pet mom has taught me many things. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’ve managed flight risks, diapered seniors, enforced the cone of shame, nursed wounds and stitches, cleaned up many a pet mess (from both ends) and administered medications. If a pet requires it, I’ve likely done it! One of the best and worst parts of being a pet mom is watching our babies grow older. As they age they change and need even more patience and love. There’s a special place in my heart for the older pets and I’m happy to patiently provide anything they need in your absence. A person is only as good as their word, and if you chose me to care for your babies, you’ll have my word that I will treat them as my own and give them the best of care and attention until your return. After retiring early from my career at 48 I’m finding I have more time on my hands than I can fill and I’d love to spend my extra time providing service to animals in need. Animals bring me a level of joy unsurpassed by any other activity I endeavor. Simply put, they make life worth living. They make me laugh, and laughing is truly the best medicine. I understand the importance of pet safety. I’ve had several personal pets that were lifetime “flight risks” (runners) so I know the importance of keeping a watchful eye on them every moment. Walking is a favorite past time and I’d enjoy the company of your fur babies. I’ll be happy to walk pets, check in on them throughout the day as needed, sit with them if they need more attention or administer necessary medications (I will not administer pills to cats). Having had several senior pets and a dog with cancer that I treated holistically for a year, has made me keenly familiar with senior and special needs pet care. About: I have had dogs my entire life and seriously don't know a life without them. I have two stubborn, little dachshunds who think they're in charge most of the time. They also have two human sisters who they are very overprotective of (they’re 8 years old and 1 year old). My oldest dachshund had surgery for IVDD a few years ago so I am familiar with administering oral medication and providing needed crate rest. About: I have over a year of hands-on experience working in an animal shelter and previously worked at a dog daycare facility for a year. In both settings, I cared for dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and temperaments, including shy, high-energy, and special-needs pets. I have also volunteered with animals for 3 years and grew up in a home with both dogs and cats. I am currently working as a dog bather at PetSmart for fun and I currently have 2 cats and a mini pig, so I understand the importance of routine, enrichment, and individualized care. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. About: I've been taking care of all kinds of babies since I was a little girl. From bottle feeding bunnies and kittens to reptiles and horses. I usually always have some kind of a rescue at my house whether it be a foster dog or a some off the wall duck someone brought to me. I take care of them all as they were my own. My true passion is training though! My father has always trained his bird dogs as well as others and I've just always enjoyed seeing what different breeds can do/pick up on. I work remote and part-time at that, so I have plenty of time to tend to your fur baby. I have a fairly open schedule so I can be pretty flexible to fit your needs! I have a large yard (it's being fenced but is not currently) my 2 dogs and cat would love to play with your baby. We enjoy long walks or just snuggling on the couch. I'll treat yours as my own.

About: I've had indoor dogs my entire life. I currently have a 13 year old Senior Beagle and his sister, 10 year old Beagle mix. I will treat your animals with the same care as I do mine. I know what's it's like to be busy and not be able to get home during the day to care for your dog. I will walk, or let your dog out to potty. I will give medication if needed along with check for food/water. I can also text, send pictures during my visit. I currently work from home, which gives me a flexibility daytime schedule to walk, let out to potty and play/interact with your dog or cat. I will show your pet love and care for your piece of mind. I have a fenced yard for my two dogs, but I also see the great benefit in walking them daily. I will gladly come to your home, let your dog(s) out and walk them if you like. I will also take great care to make sure your dog or cat stay safe and keep all doors and gates closed.
About: I grew up on a farm with, cats, dogs, chickens, goats, ducks, geese. rabbits, horses, cattle, and a variety of household pets. I was a veterinary technician for 20 years. Being in the veterinary field, I saw many household pets suffer separation anxiety being left at the clinic to board and also saw pets get sick after boarding due to being out of their home environment, which is how TLC Equine & Pet Care got started. I am currently 100% self-employed and can fit any schedule to work with the needs of your pet's health and safety. I also provide mail and package pickup, set trash out to the curb, water plants. Make your home look lived in while you are away. I do care for dogs in my home, it is a very relaxed environment. I live in the country and do not have a fenced in yard. They are walked on leashes and completely safe. Playpens also provided upon request for playtime outside.

I am available all day Tuesday and Thursday as well as Monday, Wednesday and Saturday mornings. I definitely prefer walking your pups in morning or evenings to avoid the hot pavement. I do not offer dog sitting. For dog walking I am familiar and comfortable with walking high energy or reactive dogs as long as that is communicated. I also know the signs of heat stroke, aggression, and bloat due to my time working in a doggy daycare. If you choose to trust me to car for your pet, their safety will always be my top priority.

About: I grew up with dogs, and I’ve always said that I would help any animal in need. At age 15 I took on the sole responsibility of caring for two guinea pigs. At age 16 I began volunteering at an animal rescue in Lewisville, Texas and at age 19 I started working at a veterinary clinic in Hays, KS. Recently I have been using my passion for helping others in elderly care, but I have moved back to the Kansas City area and I’d like to get back to working with animals beyond just the informal care I do for my cousin’s two pitbulls and my family’s two labradors. I am working on securing full time employment and so I will be caring for pets during the hours that I am not at work. I believe every animal should be treated with kindness. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

Since I don't use crates or cages, pets have total freedom to roam between the house and the yard, keeping the energy up and the good times rolling even while I'm at work. My large backyard is the perfect spot for plenty of playtime and fresh air. The doggy door is specifically sized for big dogs, so they can head out to explore or lounge in the sun whenever they please. My own dog is a huge fan of having friends over, and he loves nothing more than sharing his yard and keeping his playmates company!
