“When we book with Rover, I'm sometimes sent pictures of the dogs where they appear to be pleading with their eyes, saying something along the lines of "Where are you? What did I do to deserve this?" These picture are most emphatically NOT what I get from Karrie. In every single picture she sent, both of our dogs are grinning from ear to ear and appear to be having the time of their lives. When I took the dogs over, it had been quite a while since their previous visit with Karrie -- but they clearly remembered her and couldn't wait to ditch me and get into her house. I can't recommend Karrie enough -- she's a fantastic sitter!”

“Finn has a wonderful time when he visits Angela’s. He loves playing with her dogs and all the love and walks that he gets. Angela is always very prompt in returning messages and has been a great host. We will definitely call again for boarding♥️”

“Absolutely wonderful. Brittany was very responsive from the moment we inquired. Sent us frequent updates on our dog throughout the stay. They gave so much love to our hesitant but lovable old puppy.”

“Super nice and able to accommodate my dog on short notice. My dog definitely had a blast and instantly made himself at home, playing with their dogs and getting cozy.”

“She is amazing, she send me pictures every day and answers my questions quick, my dogs looked so happy in every photo. I’m glad I found her and not doubt I will leave my dogs from now on with Elizabeth.”
“I loved Griffin. He is so friendly and respectful. He keeps you informed about your furry friend. He sends pictures frequently and my shy Jazzy met her some new friends. And was hanging out with her new furry friends. Will definitely use him again.”

“Brittany was very friendly and allowed a 'meet and greet' before we formally agreed to boarding our dogs with her. We felt like she and her family understood golden retriever personality and activity level. She was great about sending pictures and updates. I was able to relax on vacation knowing that they were in good hands and having fun playing! Will definitely book again!”

“I am deeply grateful to Nate for the exceptional care he provided to our pet Bjorn. He is also very flexible with timings. Bjorn always enjoys spending time at his home.”

“Shelly made the entire process easy. You can tell they love dogs and take good care of the fur babies. We would recommend Shelly and plan to board with her whenever the need arises.”

“Gina was GREAT! This was our first time having a dog sitter and she made the experience enjoyable for us all. Honey is not used to being around dogs and she made his introduction to the other dogs very easy and low stress. We were updated frequently with texts, videos, and pictures. Honey looked very happy and entertained with indoor and outdoor activities. She was very responsive and kind. We highly recommend and will use her again. ?”

“It gives me so much peace of mind for my 2 girls to stay with Carly and her family while I'm gone. She sends pics and updates and I think the dogs look forward to their own vacation at her house!”

“Lucy made sure my dog Penny got lots of love and attention! Pretty sure Penny didn’t even miss me while I was gone. I loved getting picture updates everyday! Would definitely pick Lucy again to take care Penny”

“Anna was fantastic. She gave Leo his medicine and was very understanding and kind when he ended up getting sick. Provided updates and pictures throughout his stay. I would definitely recommend Anna and Leo can’t wait to go back.”

“Can’t speak highly enough about this sitter! Ruby was in heaven playing ball and part of the whole family’s activities. Lots of communication and very flexible with my schedule. Definitely will be using again when I’m back in town!”

About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
