About: I am new to Rover & this area, however I am not new to this field! The reviews you will find on my page are from clients where I just moved from! I have been in the veterinary field since I was 14 years old. I started with kennels and caring for the animals and then moved up to veterinary technician. I am still currently employed as a virtual technician/receptionist. I have experience with all animals large and small! I have lots of references I would love to share with you! If there are any special requests please let me know I will try and be flexible. I am also open to negotiations! I look forward to getting to know your fur babies and this community! 🤍 I currently have a remote full time job during the week and work 10 hour shifts. This allows flexibility and also 24/7 supervisor if your babies were to stay with me! I also have Mondays off to help take care of your fur babies! These picture are most emphatically NOT what I get from Karrie. In every single picture she sent, both of our dogs are grinning from ear to ear and appear to be having the time of their lives. When I took the dogs over, it had been quite a while since their previous visit with Karrie -- but they clearly remembered her and couldn't wait to ditch me and get into her house. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.
