“Natalia was legit the BEST. She kept me updated on sundae all throughout the day. I was also late picking up the fur babe and she was so understanding! She’s your girl! Sundae will be back! ❤️”

“Elizabeth was awesome with our two pups. She made them feel comfortable and part of her pack. She sent updates and pictures. Amelia loves being outside and I know she had plenty of outside time because she was getting a lot steps with Elizabeth. And Finn who is anxious and scared of everything seemed at ease.”

“My puppy, Fancy, was very well taken care of. I’m so happy to have found Courtney, and Rover. I will never board again. Fancy was with a family, getting 24/7 care and love. I was given updates and funny stories about my wild girl. Such a great experience!!!!”

“Sarah and Cyrus took great care of our dog! They sent daily photos and updates so we knew how he was doing, which we really appreciated. They were also very flexible when our plans changed and let us pick him up two hours earlier than scheduled. We’d be happy to leave our dog with them again!”

About: I’ve always loved caring for animals and treat every pet like they’re part of the family. I’m experienced with keeping pets on their normal routines, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m reliable, attentive, and understand how important it is to feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I’m happy to care for pets before and after work and on weekends. I’m able to plan my schedule around the needs of each pet and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and care. I’m dependable and will always communicate clearly about my availability so you know your pet is getting the care they need. My priority is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I provide a clean, comfortable environment with plenty of attention and supervision. I also understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel right at home. When caring for a pet in their home, I’m respectful of their space and will follow their usual routine and your instructions closely.
About: I am the biggest dog lover. I’ve always took care of my neighbors, friends and families fur babies while they're at work or out of town. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I’ve built my schedule around making sure the dogs in my care get plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. From morning potty breaks, lunch potty breaks and playtime in the afternoon walks and evening wind-downs, every part of my day includes time dedicated to their well-being. I’m always available to monitor and care for them, making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and dog-friendly environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at ease. I have a secure space for plenty of cozy spots for naps and downtime. I stick to each dog’s routine as closely as possible whether that’s specific feeding times, medication, walks, or crate time to make their stay stress-free and familiar.
About: I’ve been around working dogs most of my life, breeding and raising high-drive dogs and learning how to properly handle different personalities and temperaments. I’ve worked with trainers across the country and have experience with obedience, structure, play, confidence building, and understanding dogs on more than just a basic level. Whether it’s a high-energy working dog or a laid-back family pet, I focus on making dogs feel comfortable, exercised, and cared for like they’re my own. I work with dogs full-time, so your dog will get plenty of attention, structure, and hands-on care throughout the day — not just quick check-ins. I have crates available in multiple sizes, four outdoor runs, and a fully fenced yard to give dogs plenty of safe space and exercise. I also have a very social, well-mannered dog that can interact and play with client dogs if wanted. If preferred, I can also easily keep dogs completely separate thanks to how my setup is designed — whatever makes the owner most comfortable.
“Julie was great with Cheri and keeping us up to date with things as well as pictures. Cheri got lots of walks and Julie was able to throw the ball with her. Would absolutely book with Julie again.”

About: Well, I currently have 4 dogs at home, so I figured why not add to the fun and let others stay over from time to time. If requesting to have your dogs stay here, they’ll need to be okay with other dogs. When it comes to me coming over to your house, I’m pretty flexible. I have a wife and kid that can always hang back at home with our fur balls. On the drop ins and walks, I cover a good chunk of the Kansas side for work, so I’m always out and about. I’ve had dogs most of my life so I always enjoy interacting with them. I’m comfortable with all breeds and all sizes so don’t hesitate to reach out to me to help take care of your pups.
“Ashley is a genuine animal lover that deeply cared about our puppy labradoodle. She updated me and let me know how things were going. I appreciated how understanding she was of my puppy’s behavior as this is my first dog and I’m learning as we go. She gave great advice and even when our puppy peed on her she never got upset or frustrated. I am very thankful to have her as our dog sitter.”
“Sarah and her family are so kind and were great with our dog, Nike! Our dog requires to have daily medication twice a day, and Sarah was great with giving his medicine. Nike can be nervous sometimes, but he immediately felt at home with Sarah and her family, which is such an attribute to how welcoming and kind they are! Cannot recommend enough!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Osawatomie home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Osawatomie.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Osawatomie sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
