I was out of the country for around two weeks and worried about my cat because she tends to be a little shy and scared of new people and typically i only know how to deal with her. She would send photos every visit and that was very reassuring, she would play with my cat and feed her and cuddle with gigi. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. I care for my pets in my home by providing occasional separation breaks from each other in different rooms, entertainment with cat trees, and dog toys. I also provide the nutrition needed to raise healthy fur babies. I keep my reptiles enclosures clean and kept as well.
About: I love being outside connecting with Nature, especially animals. The passion for nature connection started when I was 10 years old in Oregon at a Nature camp. About: My full time job is a Veterinary Assistant and I’m currently in school to become a Vet Tech. I also have done Kennel Staff work since I was 14. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. About: Animals have been a major part of my life since I was a child. I grew up on a family farm with all sorts of animals. We also had plenty of indoor pets such as dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, and the occasional reptile. I have had years of experience house and pet sitting. In undergrad, I work with a large and small veterinarian for several months and took several animal husbandry classes. I've also worked at a doggy daycare center in the past with roughly 70 dogs per day. I am a student currently pursuing a doctorate degree in chiropractic. I have classes monday-friday, but there are breaks in my schedule throughout the day. I am comfortable and adaptable with any situation or furry friend that needs to be looked after. I live in an apartment so watching a pet in their owners home is preferable.
About: I’ve had pets since, forever! When I was younger 3 of our dogs had puppies at the same time & then we had 27 dogs to care for! I personally had a yorkie for 8 years. I have so much patience and love for animals and they are much more than animals & pets to me.
