She was so accommodating and flexible with the meet and greet and spent a lot of time getting to know our dogs, particularly our newest little rescue that's working through some fear issues, prior to coming for a home visit. It's obvious that she places a lot of importance on making sure the dogs felt comfortable with her prior to taking care of them and she went out of her way to help Lyla continue making progress in feeling safe. She handled my big, exuberant boys with ease and genuine affection while also being gentle and quiet with Lyla. During our meet and greet, she was more than happy to learn about the quirks of each dog and when asked, provided genuine and thoughtful suggestions about fearful rescues, including specific things she would do during her home visit. She was prompt on her timing and provided updates and pictures of her time with the dogs, accommodating a last-minute request for a medication administration. About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. About: About 50 years ago when I was 12 years old, I met a scruffy dog while I was out playing. It was immediate Love. I led the dog home and proceeded to beg my parents if I could keep the dog. Unfortunately, they said no and they didn't even want it in the house. That night it rained and I stayed out there with the dog while we took harbor under the back deck stairs. I named him Pal. The next day, a friend down the street was allowed to take Pal into their family and he stayed with him until he went to heaven. Pal played a very important role in my life. I realized my passion for animals. Also after that, my family began to appreciate animals becoming a part of our family. Years later after I purchased my own home, I came across another homeless dog. I took him in and with my vet, we nursed him back to health. From that point on, I always had at least 3 dogs in my home and usually a cat too. I have cared for many animals from family members, friends and coworker. In hindsight, I have cared for more than 30 animals in my life. In the last 25 years, I have worked as an in-home provider for children. I was also the primary family caregiver for my mother when she returned home from the assisted living facility after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and needed to be brought home before her passing. I was also primary family caregiver for my father when he moved in with me and my daughter due to complications with diabetes and dementia before his passing. I am divorced and live alone, I am home 95% of the time and I rarely travel. I am available everyday of the week throughout summer because I have to be here for my child care and my animals. I have been doing in-home childcare/preschool for 25+ years. Due to my passion for dogs, I have joined Rover to provide care and boarding for dogs. The family room is now mostly dedicated for the dogs. The floor is padded, they can get on the 3 couches and chairs and there are several beds on the floor for their comfort. They have access to see out the back windows and out the back doorway. I have a large backyard that has been divided with a fence. There is the small yard dedicated for the children and a much larger area for the dogs. It is large enough for running and throwing balls - The back fence in both areas is open enough for the dogs to see and chase the school kids and trucks as they go by. My dogs favor the fire trucks and emergency vehicles that go by which is pretty often since the station is right down the street. They will usually stand out at the fence howling with the alarms as those vehicles go by. I scoop daily and I have the yard sprayed regularly for fleas, ticks and mosquitoes.

I have taken care of all kinds from bottle babies to seniors needing a place to relax u til they cross the rainbow bridge. I am more than capable of accommodating to medications and special need patients. I personally have four dogs of my own and have fosters in and out of my house all of the time. Taking care of pets is all I do and is something that I excel at. I am a firm believer of consistency in animals and will take care of your pet however you see fit. About: I love being outside connecting with Nature, especially animals. The passion for nature connection started when I was 10 years old in Oregon at a Nature camp. Ever since then I have had pets that I have taken care of. My favorite thing to do is be outside with them. I started a Non profit that is based in Nature Connection called Blue River Forest Experience in Overland Park, KS. Part of the Non profit is Animal Therapy. About: I currently work at a Vet Clinic, I have had animal shelter experience since I was little because of my mom, she was an Owner/Manager for Second Chance Pet Rescue in Grove Oklahoma. 💞 For jobs I have had a year of vet care experience, working in Animal Shelters, and I always make tons of trips to go down to Grove Oklahoma to donate and volunteer. 🐾 My life runs off of being surrounded by animals. ✨ When I watch your fur-baby(s) I make sure I send daily photos and information so everything runs smoothly. 🎉 I’m currently trying to start doing Rover for Full time, 🐾pets have a special place in my heart and my heart always comes back to spending time with them. 💓 In my free time I’m watching clients dogs or I am at home with my own 3 dogs, walking, playing, training the new puppy or cleaning. About: I have lots of experience with dogs of all ages! My dog Prada is a Rottweiler mix and she is almost 8 years old. She is super calm and chill! We also have two other family dogs, Kova (6 yr old lab mix) and Crimson (8 yr old Pomsky). They keep us on our toes and have very different personalities! Kova is very timid and scared of most things! Her fear comes out in aggression and has taught me patience in dealing with her fearful behavior. Crim is very hyper and full of energy! He is becoming blind with his old age and is teaching us a lot about working with a dog that has extra needs. Along with my family dogs I have experience dog sitting for friends and neighbors and volunteering with shelters. I think I have great experience with different dog breeds, ages and personalities. I would love to meet and take care of your pup! I am currently available most days and times to care for your pets. I am very flexible and can work around different schedules. I am very laid back and would love a last minute request to visit with your furry friends! I do have lots of experience with cats and dogs as well as experience volunteering at a pit-bull rescue walking the dogs. I learned safety in walking and behavior. About: I became a foster parent for GPSCA at the end of 2020 after adopting my bubbi with them during the summer. I took care of a mom and 3 puppies as my first assignment, all were adopted! <3 A few months after that, I fostered an older dog who had recently had surgery, who also got adopted after a couple of months with me. I love playing with dogs and getting to know all of their different personalities. My bubbi is an old man who loves to just snuggle and play catch with you. He's all about those TREATS too. Recently promoted to a hybrid job, 3 days in person, Mon-Weds. Unlike before where I was WFH. This would take me away for about 8-9 hours on those days. I know it can be scary for a pet to meet someone new. I like to make any dog I'm pet-sitting feel comfortable in its own environment. Whether that means I just sit there until they are comfy with me or abiding my their normal routine, I don't want them to feel out of place.
About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! I have time on my lunch break to come home, as long as it is in reasonable distance as I work on the Plaza. I have school on Wednesday nights but other than that I am available to care for your pets after work as needed! With having pets of my own, I can understand the schedules and routines that any different animal might need. I am flexible and understanding and will always put forth my best care for your pets!

“This is the second time Oban has stayed at Sean & Jolene “puppy summer camp”. On our way to their house Obi was so excited as he recognized the route. He was so well cared for and we could tell how well he got along with their other pups. He got to play, and run, and sleep , and eat, and snuggle as much as he wanted. When my neighbor went to pick him up, she could tell he was sad to leave his bestie, Gunner. She also sang Sean & Jolene’s praises.
