“Dexter and Eddy had one of the most wonderful stay. They came home happy, tired, and clearly well-loved. The sweetest touch? They gave both pups a puppy cup and even sang "Happy Birthday" to Dexter for his special day! 🎂 It meant the world to see how much they cared. Both boys were all tail wags and smiles the entire time. Thank you again for making Dexter’s birthday so memorable and for taking such great care of our boys.”

“Angela was very accommodating and took great care of my cats! I would definitely book again and would 100% recommend her services to anyone looking for excellent pet care 😊”

“Paula was absolutely amazing with my baby girl. My Snickers was a little bit of a hooligan for Paula, but Paula took it in stride and handled her so well. When my plans changed and I needed another night, Paula was happy to accommodate me. Highly recommend Paula to anyone needing a place for their pup to stay”

“Elizabeth was awesome with our two pups. She made them feel comfortable and part of her pack. She sent updates and pictures. Amelia loves being outside and I know she had plenty of outside time because she was getting a lot steps with Elizabeth. And Finn who is anxious and scared of everything seemed at ease.”

“Very efficient in keeping me posted on my pup. He did better for her than me lol. Gizmo found his new best friends!! Never used a sitter before but so glad it was a great first experience.”

“Jennifer was fabulous with our dogs and took great care of them over the Thanksgiving holiday. She was responsive to my messages and always sent pictures and updates. The dogs came home happy and tired, which means they must have had a great time!”

“Allie has a little scare and they took great care of her and took her the vet and communicated well and made sure she was okay while I was out of town. I felt comfortable and felt like she was in good hands.”

“Meilan and her family did great with our dog Bodie. Usually when he goes places he seems really stressed out and exhausted when he gets home. This time he came home his normal self. I feel they did an amazing job with taking care of him.”

“Sarah did a great job keeping my 2yr old mini aussie for 5 days while we went out of state. She kept me posted on how he was doing and she sent me pics on the regular. Highly recommend! She also has dogs herself and Rio loved it! I think he misses his friends ❤️”

“This was our first time leaving our dog with Elizabeth but it won’t be the last. She was great!! She sent lots of pictures and daily updates, and I could tell our dog was happy and comfortable with her. He was excited to see us at pick up, but he didn’t come home with the normal anxiety he usually shows after staying with a sitter. That told me everything I needed to know. So glad to have found her and she will be our #1 choice from now on.”

“Brittany and her family took amazing care of our one and a half year old golden retriever for a little over a week. He had some potty accidents during his stay which we felt so terrible about but Brittany was very forgiving and optimistic about Roper nonetheless. He came back super happy and healthy and we can tell he had a great time and bonded with the family, he may even be sad to go back home 😂 Brittany also sent lots of photo and video updates which we always love! 10/10 would recommend.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. During my time in college, I worked for a humane society and have extensive knowledge on how to care and play with many different temperaments. My most recent beloved cat, Mufasa, was diabetic, which has help me puuurfect my skills of administrating shots and taking care of ill kitties. I have a full time job from 9-5 on M-F, but my weekends and evenings are free to give all the love and care to your furbaby. I live in an apartment complex that allows all breeds. There is plenty of space outside to play with your dog, and many walking trails and parks nearby. There is also a dog park close by.

“Nicole was wonderful! She provided excellent communication throughout our trip and sent photos, which gave me great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our dog was well cared for, and having fun. In fact, when he came home, he cried because he missed his new friends and the environment he had grown so attached to. We couldn’t ask for a better indication of how happy and comfortable he was in her care. Highly recommend!”

“We had a wonderful experience! Our young Boston Terrier is full of energy, curiosity, and mischief, and Danielle handled her with so much patience and care. It was clear she was well-loved, exercised, and treated like part of the family while we were away. We received updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind. We came home to a happy, healthy pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We highly recommend Danielle and will definitely book with her again!”

“Luz was absolutely wonderful with my Oliver! She sent me multiple daily updates and pictures and really catered to his specific needs! Will definitely be boarding him with her again and would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter! Thank you so much for everything Luz!!”

Once again, Katherine provided our dog with the best possible care. She and her family went above and beyond by caring for our pup over a long holiday. Katherine was extremely flexible when we could not pick up our Carlton as planned due to traveling snafus. We always know Carlton is happy and loved on by her two sweet little boys. I recommend Katherine in a heartbeat!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KS ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
