I have had pets my entire life. I absolutely love animals and I understand that pets are part of the family. No rules about staying off furniture or beds in our house! I currently have a sweet, senior, dachshund mix. He gets along great with other dogs. I work as a teacher, so I am home evenings and weekends. I am also home over most holiday breaks and all summer! I am kind, patient, and active. We live right off a walking trail that I walk my dog on every day. I will treat your pet as if it was my own. I can assure your pet will get lots of love, attention, and outdoor time. I can provide references of other pet owners I have worked for if requested. I can't wait to meet your sweet pet!

This was our first time leaving our dog with Elizabeth but it won’t be the last. She was great!! She sent lots of pictures and daily updates, and I could tell our dog was happy and comfortable with her. He was excited to see us at pick up, but he didn’t come home with the normal anxiety he usually shows after staying with a sitter. That told me everything I needed to know. So glad to have found her and she will be our #1 choice from now on.

Elizabeth is amazing. My dog has separation anxiety and gets really nervous in new places, but he did great at the meet and greet and was excited to go back when it was time for the daycare. He would run to Elizabeth and felt safe and comfortable with her and her daughter. She took him on a walk and he did really well with her and was happy when I went to pick him up. Will definitely be using her again soon.
The moment I walked in Elizabeth’s house it felt like a second home for Lily. Elizabeth sent pictures and opened her home and heart to our pup. I am extremely grateful to have found her.
All I know is when Elizabeth brought my little dude back to me (huge fan of that option, BTW), he tried to follow her out the door when she left - so OBVIOUSLY he enjoyed his time with her! I love that she sent me photos daily, and that she welcomed him into her home so warmly. Will definitely use her again. I can't recommend her high enough!
This our third time using Elizabeth to come check in our cats and she is always great, it’s nice not having to worry about them so much while we’re gone!

Schedule
During the school year I am home by 4:00. I am off work all summer and during other school breaks like spring break, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

A typical day
Daily walks on the nature trail by my house (weather permitting), a large fenced yard to play in, and a selection of toys to play with. And of course, lots of petting and snuggling!
