“This was our first time leaving our dog with Elizabeth but it won’t be the last. She was great!! She sent lots of pictures and daily updates, and I could tell our dog was happy and comfortable with her. He was excited to see us at pick up, but he didn’t come home with the normal anxiety he usually shows after staying with a sitter. That told me everything I needed to know. So glad to have found her and she will be our #1 choice from now on.”

“Lauren was fantastic with Bigs ! Bigs is a 3 year old German shorthair with tons of energy. She let him run around her backyard and he had a great time playing with her dog! She was also very accommodating during pick up and Bigs had a great time. Would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a safe place to board! She also gave me updates while I was away and I really appreciated that!”

“Super nice and able to accommodate my dog on short notice. My dog definitely had a blast and instantly made himself at home, playing with their dogs and getting cozy.”

“Natalia was great! My dogs were very well cared for & happy when I picked up. Her husband helped me out to my vehicle. My older dog has a hard time loading & he helped me get her in the vehicle. She was very generous and altered my booking because my son got sick at the airport & we had to cancel part of our trip & change to only 1 night instead of 4. She sent pictures & videos after only a couple hours & got our dogs comfortable in their home. Thank you very much!! Would definitely book again!”

“First time boarding and was very nervous but Angela was amazing and totally reassured me!!! she took wonderful care of my kitty and sent me little texts and pictures throughout the stay! would 100% book again and would definitely recommend her!”

I really appreciated the regular photo updates—it was clear Kubo was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in good hands. Highly recommend Matthew to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“Sarah and Cyrus did a great job taking care of our two dogs. They watched them for 10 days. They walked them and took good care of them. Both dogs seemed comfortable and relaxed in their home. They were very good at communicating and sent me updates twice a day and were quick to respond whenever I asked a question.”

“Excelling service! We booked Stacia for drop in visits to check our cats and made sure they were all right and happy and that all their needs were met. She did a great job and ensured they were well and gave me daily updates. I also received pictures of them from each visit! Stacia is trustworthy and easy to work with, so I will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Kim did a great job of checking on our cat while we were traveling. She sent pictures everyday and came over to meet him before our trip. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Sara was absolutely wonderful caring for my two cats while I was gone over the holidays. She spent plenty of time with them, reported back daily with great pictures that eased my mind so I wouldn't worry about them. My older cat loved her and even my shy cat finally came out to greet her which is amazing. I highly recommend Sara to care for your pets. She's the best!”

“I highly recommend Sarah and Cyrus! They checked on Dora every day, made sure she had both wet and dry food, kept her litter box clean, and gave her plenty of scratches and attention. It was reassuring to know Dora was well cared for while I was away. I appreciated the updates and the care they showed her, and I would happily book with them again.”

“Chandra was a wonderful help while my husband and I were away on a trip. She took great care of my cats and kept their area clean while we were away, and was also a trooper dealing with our finicky automatic litter box. Chandra is a 10/10 Rover!!”

“Hope was amazing for our newly adopted kitty. It was hard for us to leave her as she has never been with anyone since her adoption. Hope was on time or early all 11 times she came to see her and took the most amazing cute pictures of our Mimi! She got my skittish kitty’s trust quickly and spent quality time with her giving her cuddles and pets! I will definitely use her in the future and will feel so secure knowing my kitty is well loved by Hope!!!”

“Ali is very accommodating. She has watched my girls multiple times and on short notice. She checked with me to see if the girls could be walked as it was pretty muddy that day. She also was thoughtful and planned ahead by bringing a towel in case I didn’t have one at the door ready. She’s very reliable.”

“Allison was great with our cats! She communicated and had photos which was nice to see! She is very sweet and attentive! We would definitely choose her for our pets again!”

“Elizabeth did such a great job looking after my elderly cat while I was out of town. When I got home I could tell my kitty was well taken care of and loved while I wasn’t there. Elizabeth was very prompt about answering any messages I sent and sent pics and videos daily. I would definitely use Elizabeth for any future pet care needs!”

About: My wife and I have cared for pets our whole lives—dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and fish. Today we have two happy dogs of our own, and we often look after family and friends’ pets. We're devoted to giving every four-legged friend the same love and care we give our own. I work from home, so I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My wife and I are available seven days a week to keep your pup happy and comfortable. My wife and I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large, fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely. Our two dogs are on a regular schedule for feeding, potty breaks, and walks, and we’ll give the same care and consistency to yours. We can crate if needed and block off stairs for older dogs to prevent accidents. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always a top priority.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats for 30 years. During that time I have been a trusted resource for family and friends. I absolutely love all the personalities and energy from all dogs and cats. I’m currently a stay at home dad and the owner of a guitar building business out of my garage. My days are filled with playing with my furry friends and creating. I’m available at all times to care for and play with your little (and not so little) ones. I have a fenced in yard with tons of space. We also have a doggie playroom with lots of comfortable lounging and toys. Your pets will be seen to for every need and be part of the family while they are here
“Beth was amazing! We met beforehand to make sure our pups got along and she was so kind and accommodating! She sent pictures to keep me updated and filled out the Rover cards everyday to let me know how it went! Will definitely be using her again!”
“Elizabeth is amazing. My dog has separation anxiety and gets really nervous in new places, but he did great at the meet and greet and was excited to go back when it was time for the daycare. He would run to Elizabeth and felt safe and comfortable with her and her daughter. She took him on a walk and he did really well with her and was happy when I went to pick him up. Will definitely be using her again soon.”

About: I’m a receptionist at a vet clinic. I’ve always had a special report with animals. Dog behavior psychology and training is what I love to study and practice. I spent many years working at a vet clinic as a vet assistant, and got a degree in biology. I currently work at Mission Pet Mart, working the Day Care Room as well as the floor. I have also been a pet sitter more informally for many years, for many creatures . I can reinforce obedience training and start it. Depending on the length of stay, I can train basics like sit, down, stay, wait, and heel. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes. Big enough to be a small horse to small enough to be the size of a pocket pet. I’ve also trained deaf and/or blind dogs. I have had a few senior dogs, and know how much extra help they need. Space at my apartment has limited my boarding abilities for larger dogs, but I most certainly can work with large breeds for short periods of time. I’ve worked with skittish and aggressive dogs as well. Does your dog have a behavioral issue? I can help work with that. I also know a bit about food allergies, and nutritional issues when it comes to our canine friends. other concerns? Ask! Animals are my passion and I always want to to whats best for them. They are family to me, and they will get treated as such. If you want, I have worked as a groom assistant also. I don’t do shaves or cuts, but a wash and condition for short hair; longer hair brush out, wash, shampoo, condition, blow dry, brush out again, I can do that!! No worries. Just ask, but it will cost a little extra. I live with my long term boyfriend, and between us your pet will always have care, love, attention, walks, and whatever else your kid needs. I have a small apartment in a secure building, and a nice court yard in the back. There is also a dog park just across the street! The park has agility equipment to play on.

About: I've had pets my whole life, and love all kinds! Through the years, I've had cats and dogs, birds, ferrets, hamsters, rabbits, mice, and hermit crabs as personal pets. I currently have a 10-year-old Bichon Frise, a two-year-old rabbit, and a one-year-old cat. My sweet Siren (cat) passed away last year just shy of her 22nd birthday. I'm available to help other people out by providing a loving, friendly face to walk or visit your pet, or to watch them in our home when you need. I provide gentle care that is tailored to each pet. Some pets need a quiet and calm presence, others want to expend energy and play! I adapt to the needs of the pet so every pet can feel comfortable. I'm a teacher currently on summer break! I have two kids at home, a teenage son and an elementary-age daughter, and if your pet comes to stay with us then he or she can expect plenty of love, pets, and cuddles and as much play as they want! When I come to your home, I make sure your pet has plenty of food and fresh water, as well as clean bedding. I spend time playing, petting, brushing, and/or walking your pet, whatever you and they would like. In our home, we have a fenced-in backyard and a friendly Bichon Frise who loves other dogs and cats. Let me know if your pet requires medication administration or any special instructions, any I am able to accommodate that.
About: I have had dogs my whole life. I also worked for 2 yrs at a in home boarding facility. I have done pet sitting for family and friends while they are gone on holiday. I love animals specially dogs. I currently have 3 senior babies myself I currently am not working so home most days unless running errands (which usually are every other Friday in mornings) The only time not home is Tuesday mornings and Thursday's all day. That will change on May 22 when I will no longer be taking care of my grandson I have a 6ft fence all the way around my yard. I have 3 senior dogs who are very chilled. When the first meet a new friend they do the sniff test then usually go do their thing. One of my seniors is a lab who still thinks he is a puppy and likes to play but has bad hips. On nice days I keep my back door open and they are free to go in and out when then like. I have a deck that is shaded either by trees or umbrellas. I also do Doggie spa day on my babies which includes brushing, cleaning ears, teeth and nails.
“Nate and his family were absolutely wonderful with my poodle mix Pickles. I received lots of pictures and videos of Pickles having the time of his life. I will definitely rebook Nate to watch after my fur baby in the future.”

“I was so lucky to have found Anita! She was awesome. Sent me pictures and updates throughout my trip. Definitely felt good vibes from her and trusted her with my baby. I will definitely be a repeat customer.”

About: Taken care of dogs my entire life- dogs of all sizes and personalities. Our 2 dogs are the most spoiled ever. We work from home so dogs can be let out and given attention often and happy to take them on walks or to dog park. We work from home and have flexible hours and taking care of our pets or other animals can come first if needed. Happy to provide whatever care is needed. We have a fenced yard and dogs can spread out in our multiple bedrooms and go wherever needed. We also have a dog kennel (large) if needed

About: I've been a pet sitter over 10 years and I love what I do. I feel very lucky to surround myself with beautiful fur babies. I work part time from home and make my own schedule. I'm extremely flexible with my hours. I'm here to make it easy for you. Lots of walks and playtime. Every animal is different, so I accomadate accordingly to the animal and what they like and want to do. I find them much happier that way.
About: We are a pet-friendly homeschool family with flexible hours and lots of love to give during the day! We participate in a local 4-H club and enjoy caring for animals. With no dogs or cats of our own, we can dedicate time and attention to yours. Since we only take pets from one family at a time, each pup gets spoiled with attention! Specialty animals are welcome (hamsters, fish, parakeets, etc.) We have experience with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and small birds. We have also cared for senior dogs and dogs with minor injuries. We only accept dogs that are kennel trained and comfortable sleeping in a kennel at night and when we are out of the house. As a homeschool family, we have flexibility and time available during the daytime hours. Our kids range from age 5-13 and enjoy having pets in the home. We do have some activities that take us outside the home, but we always ensure that pets are taken care of in a timely manner within the required time frame. When dogs are boarded at our home, we have a large, open fenced backyard for play. Since we have no dogs or cats of our own, there will not be conflict with our pets. (We own parakeets and chickens, which are kept securely within their own enclosures.) When I have to leave home for an activity, I will either kennel the dog, or section off a safe portion of the house, depending on the situation. Animals with destructive tendencies when alone (chewing, getting into trash, etc.) must be kenneled when we are out of the house. Cats do not need to be kenneled unless they have destructive tendencies. At night, dogs will either be kenneled, or gated off to a specific section of the house. Our basement is largely open and can be used as well for kenneling or nightime roaming for cats. Our backyard has a chicken coop with ten hens. The chickens should not be in danger from your dogs while they are in the coop (they are well protected in a steel chicken fence), but if seeing them will cause your dog to be anxious, overactive, or they may try to attack the fence, please let us know in advance. When going to a client's home, I can administer food and water as instructed. I am also happy to spend time playing, going for a walk, etc.
About: My pet care experience began when I was a young child. My parents have always had at least five pets that I helped train and take care of while growing up. After we moved to a farm, they adopted more pets (dogs, cats, chickens, etc.); which allowed me to have more responsibilities and experiences taking care of animals. In college, I adopted my dog and had her for over 13 years. Sadly, she passed from old age and I have not adopted another pet since. I currently have a full-time job, but it does not involve animals. I am on Rover because I enjoy being around animals and taking care of them. My schedule is flexible and would allow me ample time throughout the day to assist others with their pets. My husband and I have very flexible work schedules that allow us to work from home most, if not all, of the week. We love going for walks with the dogs and playing with them in our fenced in backyard. As mentioned above, we have a fenced in backyard. We also have a large crate available if you prefer to have your dog crates for part of its stay. Thanks for taking your time to read about me! Hopefully, you’ll allow me to help you with your pet(s)!
“Taylor is amazing, I felt 100% comfortable leaving my dog with her all day. I knew he was well taken care of, she provided lots of cute pictures. My pup loved hanging out with her dog and others during the day. Will definitely be using her again!”

“I just moved to Kansas City and was very nervous about care for my fur baby. Kim has been amazing! I have a very shy puppy who has taken to Kim and gives me such comfort knowing she is so reliable and that she gets along so well with my Charley!”

About: Allow me to give your pets the same love and affection that I always give my own! I currently live with my husband, our 3 cats, and 1 dog. I lived out in the country growing up and over the years I have taken care of dozens of cats, dogs, horses, cows, and many other animals. I am looking to earn extra income to help my husband and I save up for a house. Please and thank you all for looking! I really look forward to caring for your furry family members! For the summer, I am available throughout the week and occasional weekends, during daylight hours! For any walks though, I would prefer mornings/evenings to protect your fur baby's feet and my pale skin from the harsh sun/temps! I always provide the upmost respect to pets, their owners, and whatever space we might be in. I am very detail oriented so rule following is an absolute MUST for me.

“I can’t say enough about how great Piper has been with our dogs and cat. She walked our dogs four times a day for seven days. I have one dog that has high anxiety around strangers, she worked with her the whole time and was able to become best friends with her. If you need someone to help with any of your pets, Piper is your best choice. Thanks Piper!”

About: I have had the opportunity to be around all kinds of animals, from family animals, like black labs and cats, to my own personal holland lop bunny. I just finished living with a roommate who owns a cat and is my best friends. I have been going on visits with my roommate who currently is active on rover and decided after a few practices that I would love to do it myself!! I am currently working as a basketball coach and soon to be teacher, so from now until the end of summer I have a very open schedule. I’m super active, especially in the mornings and afternoons, so any active dog would be a perfect addition to my mornings. And I’m totally up for getting worn out and cuddling or hanging out with your pup after. I would love to be able to go on walks, as I am a very active person, as well as just being able to care for and love on your pet, whether you’re at work or on vacation!!

“Chandra is great with my crazy dog, who apparently is not crazy with Chandra. She is on time and great to work with. Even with last minute walks. The biggest thing is that my dog didn’t bark at Chandra at all when I opened the door. My dog barks at everyone but not Chandra. I think that in itself deserves an A+. We wouldn’t consider going with anyone else.”

“Iryna was amazing with my senior furbaby. We are traveling for work and staying in a hotel and she literally went above and beyond for my girl. My dog was very nervous due to being in a new town and new surroundings but Iryna really worked with her and my girl is coming around now. She even walked her in the rain. I totally recommend her and will be using her in the near future.”

“Nate and the family were great. They made the process simple. We enjoyed receiving a couple pictures and a video over the 3-4 day stay. Once home, our pup passed out from all the excitement he had at Nate’s. Job well done.”

“Anna was fantastic. She gave Leo his medicine and was very understanding and kind when he ended up getting sick. Provided updates and pictures throughout his stay. I would definitely recommend Anna and Leo can’t wait to go back.”

“Matthew did an outstanding job watching my dog Kubo for two weeks. He followed Kubo’s feeding schedule perfectly and made sure he had plenty of yard time to play and relax.

“Susan was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for better. Our dogs got plenty of playtime and were treated like one of the family. Susan gave great updates and was prompt to answer any questions we had. We will definitely use Susan for future bookings!”

“Shelly has a great understanding of husky mixes, which made me feel very confident and comfortable choosing them as a sitter. They went above and beyond to ensure my boy had a happy stay and I will definitely be re-booking in the future”

“Lisa was very communicative before and during our dog’s boarding, she sent an update video so our kids could see him playing and we felt at ease with Lisa and leaving our dog for the weekend at her house!”

“Elizabeth was amazing with my two cats! She went above and beyond to make my cats feel comfortable and happy during their stay. Loved getting daily updates with pictures. This was my first experience having someone that was not family watch them and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would absolutely use her again!”

“We have used Nicole multiple times! She is very responsive, friendly and flexible! Our dog, Teddy always enjoys his time there! He loves their huge fenced in yard and playing with their dogs and kids. He feels right at home:) Our kids love seeing the picture updates Nicole sends too.”

“Anita was great with our two pups. Finn has some serious anxiety and she was patient and got him to feel comfortable. She sent regular updates and pictures making this anxious mom feel better. I highly recommend Anita.”

“We had a wonderful experience! Our young Boston Terrier is full of energy, curiosity, and mischief, and Danielle handled her with so much patience and care. It was clear she was well-loved, exercised, and treated like part of the family while we were away. We received updates and photos that gave us complete peace of mind. We came home to a happy, healthy pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We highly recommend Danielle and will definitely book with her again!”
