Availability
Pet sitting fits naturally into my life — I work from home and run my own business, which gives me the flexibility to focus fully on the pets I care for. My schedule is my own, so I’m available for daytime walks, overnight stays, or last-minute visits when you need someone reliable. Having animals around brings me joy and balance during my workday, and I love being able to give them the same attention and calm presence I give my own pets.

About Lynda M.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in my home or my clients’ homes, I focus on creating a calm, comfortable environment that matches each animal’s routine. I take time to learn their habits, favorite activities, and any special needs they may have — especially for senior pets who need extra patience and care. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I keep communication open with updates and photos, so you always know your pet is in good hands.
Information Lynda M. would like to know about your pet
I have a high tolerance for shy or stressed pets and training for introducing myself calmly and slowly to new friends no matter their state of mind, but if your pet has any specific stress or anger triggers just let me know! For example: doesn’t like ears touched, hates some music (one of my cats hated certain types of songs due to pitch), etc. Nothing is too weird! :)
A typical day
When I’m first introducing myself to your pets, I typically sit (or walk) and talk with them so they begin to get used to me. As your pet becomes familiar with me, I will play with them using their favorite toy and even run around the yard if they enjoy that!

Experienced, Reliable Pet Care
Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 20 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds — from playful puppies to senior cats and dogs who need a gentler touch. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to make every pet feel safe and loved. These days, I share my home with two cats and still treat every animal I meet like part of the family. Whether it’s daily walks, cuddles, or special care for older pets, I’ll make sure your furry friend feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away.

Reviews

This was the first time leaving my kitties behind while out of town. Having Lynda care for them alleviated all of my worries. My normally shy cats warmed right up to her and I knew they were loved on and cared for just the way I would (maybe even better)! Highly recommend Lynda and will 100% hire her next time we leave town.

Great as always! I love that I can trust her with my cats while I’m away.

Lynda was great, would definitely hire again!

Lynda was absolutely wonderful! She took great care of my cat and I genuinely never had to worry while I was away. Would highly recommend, thank you again!
