About: Hi, I’m Shanna! I provide care at your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their normal routine while you’re away. As a remote worker, I’m able to stay at your home during work hours - great for pets who are used to company throughout the day! My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible. I am happy to follow detailed instructions, and I provide regular updates and photos so you always know how things are going. Specialties: I have a soft spot for shy or nervous pets, and I take extra care to follow their lead and let them warm up at their own pace. My experience caring for my own anxious and reactive dog has given me extra understanding for pets who need a predictable environment and time to build trust. I am also experienced with puppies and young dogs, and I understand the importance of consistency, routine reinforcement, and providing outlets for their energy while they’re still learning. Meet & Greet: I always like to schedule a meet-and-greet with new clients to make sure everyone feels comfortable and that we are a good match. For safety, my husband Nathan may join me for this first visit, but all pet care and in-home services are always provided by me. I work primarily from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to plan my day around your pet's needs, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, or spending extra time keeping them company. I truly enjoy making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet and home with the care and respect I’d want for my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet (and your space) in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly. For pets, I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. I pay attention to their behavior and needs, and their safety and well-being is always my top priority. In your home I am very mindful that I am a guest. I keep things clean, make sure everything stays secure, and treat your space with respect. I aim to leave everything just as you left it. I am happy to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is well cared for.

About: I raised my first dog to a healthy, ripe 17 years of age. My new pup is a rescue and I have helped her become an obedient (mostly), well-mannered good girl. We take walks everyday, even when it’s cold. I have patient and a calm demeanor which I believe most dogs need when interacting with a new person. I work during the day M-F most of the time. I am free in the evenings and on weekends. Currently working part time so my schedule is a bit more open. I have an energetic puppy that loves to run around at the dog park at my apartment complex. I typically crate my dog when I’m not home. Okay with having dogs free at client’s house if that what the pup is most comfortable with.

About: Hi! I’ve been a dog sitter since 2009, and I truly love what I do. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities — including seniors, diabetics, and blind pups who need a little extra attention. Every dog has their own unique needs, and I take pride in making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. Back to business! I work remotely, so my schedule is nice and flexible. I always enjoy having a part-time job caring for dogs — it’s something I truly love! I take care of each pet as if they were my own. About: Animals have been a lifelong part of my life. I grew up around farm animals and have owned and cared for dogs ranging in size from a Toy Poodle to a Great Dane. I also raised a puppy through the Leader Dogs for the Blind puppy-raising program in Michigan and have experience training dogs in both obedience and agility. I previously worked as a veterinary assistant at two veterinary clinics, which gave me valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats with a wide variety of personalities, ages and needs. I’m happy to provide photos and updates during every visit. I have a flexible daytime schedule that allows me to provide walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I’m especially available during weekday mornings and afternoons, making me a great fit for pets who need a midday walk, potty break, meal, medication, playtime or companionship while their owners are at work or away. I also offer evening and weekend availability when my schedule allows and am happy to discuss recurring weekly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my first priorities. I take time to learn each pet’s normal routine, temperament, handling preferences and any special instructions before providing care. During visits, I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes and other potential safety concerns and will always follow your care instructions closely. My previous experience working as a veterinary assistant has made me particularly observant of changes in an animal’s behavior or well-being. I also understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home and will treat your home, privacy and belongings with respect. About: I have had dogs since I was young and I learned how to train puppies/dogs from my father. I am very friendly and loving with dogs, but authoritative as well when needed. I can trim your dogs nails as well as bathe/groom them. I communicate well about concerns and updates regarding an owners pet. Daily activities with your animal is what I love; whether that’s walking, going to the park, or playing in the yard. I have had to take out puppies throughout the night to potty train as well. I am able to take care of your animals anytime for general activities or pet care. I am available to house sit your dog while you are away. It’s possible to board a dog at my house during the day or even overnight, but only small/medium dogs because I own so many animals already and there’s not a lot of space for large dogs. I can come to your home and do anything you would like for your doggo; whether that’s playing in the yard, going for a walk, feeding, going out to go potty, or even light grooming. I can clean after your animal to ensure there’s no messes in your home. At my house I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with two friendly dogs of my own to play and keep each other occupied. There is a sidewalk all throughout my neighborhood perfect for daily walks.

About: I have had a cats, dogs, bunnies, Ginny pigs most of my life. I also foster kittens, puppies and geriatric pets. I can provide meds and light grooming. I am working part time for temporary postings so working for Rover allows me the freedom to make money doing something I love, cherishing your pet. I am able to watch your beloved fur baby in its home environment or take them for walks/play time. All on your terms, and rules.

About: I have worked at vet clinics and grooming day care facilities since I was young and have a variety of animal experience. Rest assured your pets will be in good hands with me. I currently make my own schedule for work and much of my work is at home so your pets will have lots of attention and care while they stay for boarding at my house. I also have pets myself so taking care of your pets and mine is of the up most priority. I care for your pets just as I would care for mine I consider them part of my family. About: I am an experienced house sitter, and I love helping animals feel safe and comfortable! I have a lot of energy to give to pets that need it. I work four days a week, and then have three day weekends. On the days that I work, I will spend all of the other time with the dogs I'm taking care of, and on days where I don't work, I might be out of the house for short appointments, but most of my time is spent at home. I am very detail-oriented, so I will make sure I follow instructions and schedules accurately. I respect the privacy of homeowners, and will gladly communicate with the client as much as desired.

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats since I was 11, including during their illnesses and senior years. Friends and family often ask me to house-sit, feed, entertain, and care for their pets while they are out of town for any amount of time. I have a wide range of experience including kittens, birds, rodents, and large dogs. I currently work part-time/seasonal on a flexible schedule. I am available for all kinds of care outside these hours, including walks, drop-ins, and home sitting. I live in a home with a fenced yard with my three pets, which does not make it ideal for hosting.
