About: I’ve owned dogs and cats since I was little and have years of experience pet sitting for family and friends. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I’m reliable, timely, and flexible, and I make sure every furry friend gets the attention, care, and love they deserve. I currently work full-time but love caring for animals in my free time. I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and am in the office Tuesday through Thursday, so my availability varies slightly throughout the week. I’m generally available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I always make time to ensure pets get the attention and care they deserve. As a remote worker, I’m able to stay at your home during work hours - great for pets who are used to company throughout the day! My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible. For safety, my husband Nathan may join me for this first visit, but all pet care and in-home services are always provided by me. I work primarily from home and have a flexible schedule. This allows me to plan my day around your pet's needs, whether that means drop-in visits, walks, or spending extra time keeping them company. I truly enjoy making them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I treat every pet and home with the care and respect I’d want for my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet (and your space) in someone else’s hands, and I don’t take that lightly. For pets, I stick as closely as possible to their normal routine. I pay attention to their behavior and needs, and their safety and well-being is always my top priority. In your home I am very mindful that I am a guest. I was very upfront to Ms. Lindsey for everything. I even got home early, therefore she was not able to walk my second. However, because it was short notice, and I’ll invest money into my babies, I did not care about the second walk or paying for it. For a person like me to have trust issues, is not easy to have strangers come into my house with animals that have never had a chance to defend themselves. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my entire life and have owned 8 dogs total, with as many as four at one time. I’ve cared for all kinds of breeds and personalities, from Great Danes and German Shepherds to Sheepadoodles, Airedales, and mixed breeds. I’m very comfortable with both large and small dogs, energetic dogs, and puppies. I also have experience around litters of puppies since one of my dogs had puppies multiple times while I was growing up, so I’m used to younger dogs and all the energy that comes with them. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s playing, going on walks, giving attention, or just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m very patient, responsible, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I’m a college student home for break, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of free time. I just ask for 3 days notice for changes! I have two big dogs at home, so I’m very comfortable with active dogs and daily care routines. About: Hi I’m Jess! I am currently an Oncology Pharmacist at a local hospital and proud mama 2 rescue pups! I worked for Rover during pharmacy school and now that student loans are knocking, I am looking to make some extra money. I was raised in an animal loving house with at least two cats and a dog at all times. I Currently help care for a Newfoundland and Husky mix so I have experience with large breed dogs as well as smaller breeds and all levels of energy. I also assist in carrying for my families goats and chicken and many cats- So I am a well equipped to help out with any animal care needs. I even completed a rotation in school at a Veterinary Pharmacy! It’s never a bad thing to have a Pharmacist in your corner for animals and humans alike 🤓 I mostly have availability on the weekends to cover for trips and vacations as well as most evenings/overnights. For boarding services, our own dogs are kennel trained and are kept in their kennels while we are away. They both have easy going temperaments and get along with most dogs. About: My family has had cats my entire life and we got our first dog when I was 10. When I became old enough I began volunterring at Wayside Waifs and did that for about 3 years where I would go and walk dogs of all different behaviors and backgrounds. I have 2 cats and I love them so so much. Just as most pet parents know, they are my babies and I feel that our fur babies should be given all of the love and affection that they so selflessly give us. I am a full time student but my class schedule is pretty lax this semester and I also nanny part-time. This allows me a good deal of flexibility to walk dogs as well as do check-ins and house sit when needed. I know all of the good spots for doggy adventures about town that are safe and fun because of my family’s dog, and I am very adaptable to whatever pets need thanks to my experience at Wayside Waifs.
