About: I grew up with dogs, so once I graduated college, I started dog sitting as a way to get my fix in. In the past several years, I've worked with cocker spaniels, pugs, golden retrievers, border collies, pit bulls, Austrialian cattle dogs, and mutts :) I have experience working with multiple dogs at the same time, as well as dog and people aggressive dogs. I have a house with lots of space for playing, and a fenced in yard so friends can run around my backyard. I am currently not working, so I am very flexible on my availability! My daughter is in part-time daycare and is home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I am free virtually all day Monday/Wednesday/Friday! I have had Rover sitters watch my pet before, so I know how important it is to be respectful of someone else's space. I'll make it a priority to leave your home as I found it!
About: I have always grown up with dogs and have been around them my whole life. I love dogs and hanging out with them! I also love going on walks and playing in the backyard! I’m a student right now so I’m waiting to get a pet so this is good for me! I have a completely open schedule! I work some evening shifts but I’m always home during the day. I will schedule around those shifts and will be around! I have a fenced in yard and lots of space for any dog to play! I have pet lovers in my house! My roommate has 2 cats but they are very friendly and good with dogs!

“This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Anna met with me beforehand and instantly made me feel comfortable—something that meant a lot since I’ve never left my dog with anyone but family. She went above and beyond by coordinating walks between my house and my sister’s so both dogs could be walked together. She was flexible with scheduling, super patient when my mom ran late, and sent me not just regular updates but also adorable (and hilarious) blooper pics! It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and takes pride in what she does. I’m so grateful I found her!”

About: Caring for animals has been a lifelong passion for me. I’ve been volunteering in animal shelters since I was a teenager, and more recently, I’ve fostered and volunteered with the amazing non-profit Kitty Cat Connection. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless cats and dogs in need—and every one of them has held a special place in my heart. I’ve always had pets of my own, too—right now, I share my home with four wonderful dogs and five cats, including Snoopy, my 16-year-old Beagle-Basset mix who keeps me on my toes and reminds me every day how special senior pets are. With that kind of experience, I understand the love, patience, and responsibility it takes to care for animals of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. When your pets are with me, they’ll be treated like part of the family. Whether they need extra cuddles, a calm presence, or someone to match their energy, I’ll give them the same attention and care I give my own. You can count on me to keep them safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine—I work remotely and have a very flexible schedule, which means I’m home and available throughout the day to give your pets the attention they deserve. Whether it’s midday potty breaks, playtime, feeding, or just companionship, I can be there when they need me most. When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space with the utmost respect. I will keep your home tidy and clean, making sure everything is just as you left it. I follow your pet care instructions carefully to ensure your furry family members receive the exact care and routine they need. You can trust that I’ll be a responsible and considerate guest while providing loving, attentive care to your pets.
About: I have had dogs in our home forever and after we lost our beloved Wheaten Terrier (14yo), we have added a 5 year old rescue Doodle to our family. She’s so sweet and loves little dogs. My kids are grown and I am learning how to be an empty nester. I work from my home office and your pet will be my co-worker when they stay with me. I do travel for work, so send requested dates! We go for long walks, car rides, and get all the head pats! I will love keeping your pet while you are away and we will have lots of fun time together! I have a flexible schedule and work from home! I love to walk and have a four legged companion on the trails with me! My doodle shares her bed and blankets! I do travel for work so we can compare schedules! I have a big yard and plenty of room inside as well! Pets are allowed on furniture and beds in our home! Our house is on the public park / trail system and we love to take daily walks. I can crate your dog to their comfort level and they will never be alone for more than 3-4 hours if they are boarding with me. I like to take dogs everywhere I go, so bring me all your social pups!

About: I grew up around dogs and have always had a love for caring for animals. From a young age, I helped take care of my own dogs and would also help family members by babysitting, walking, feeding, and spending time with their dogs. Being around different breeds and personalities has taught me how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs. I truly enjoy making pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a baby of my own his name is Rocky he’s Australian Shepherd beagle mix. I’m always active I work as a medical assistant. I am a trustworthy and dependable dog sitter who treats every pet like they are my own. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your dog in someone else’s care, which is why I prioritize safety, communication, and giving each dog the attention and love they deserve. I am responsible, patient, and committed to creating a comfortable and positive experience for both pets and their owners.
“Lilli absolutely wonderful! I book with her pretty much weekly and she is very flexible and communicative when days do/ don’t work! I can tell Archie is well taken care of when she comes to walk him!”

“Amy has been absolutely amazing. She has been walking Jack 5 days a week for last couple months. She was always there and on time, exactly on time. She was amazing to deal with and was always flexible if we had unexpected day off due to weather. Unfortunately our dog passed away and is the only reason we had to cancel, otherwise we would have continued to depend on her services. Thank you Amy.”

About: I began consistently dog sitting throughout high school starting in 2022. Since then, I’ve built strong relationships with many repeat clients who continue to trust me to care for their pets whenever they’re away. Neighbors, friends, and families rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide attentive, dependable care. As an Animal Science student, I have hands-on experience working with animals, giving me a deeper understanding of animal behavior, health, and proper care. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and attention to detail. I treat every pet like my own and make sure their routine stays consistent and stress-free. I’m comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, and senior pets that need extra patience and care. I can follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications, and provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so you always know your pet is in good hands. I’m not working this summer, so I have a very open and flexible schedule to dedicate to pet care. I’m available Monday through Sunday for walks, drop-ins, sitting, and boarding, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. This allows me to give your pet plenty of attention, exercise, and consistent care throughout the day. I’m also flexible with last minute bookings and can easily adjust to your pet’s routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I make sure all outdoor time is supervised and dogs are always on a leash to ensure their safety. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and needs, and I always follow your specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, and routines. I provide a clean, calm, and structured environment where your pet can feel safe and relaxed. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I treat every pet like my own and prioritize trust, consistency, and safety at all times.

About: I've always had a love for animals. Growing up on a small farm I've had the good fortune to have helped raise everything from cats and dogs to horses and chickens as well as helping my mother with her own pet sitting business for many years while in college. I also have some experience with birds like budgies and cockatiels and had 3 fancy rats. And I'm always looking to learn more about pets of all kinds. But what I have the most experience in is dogs. Growing up I had German shepherds, Australian shepherds, Maltese, Yorkies, and Havanese of all ages from newborn to senior. I've dealt with wild and high energy dogs as well as scared rescues and epileptic dogs who needed extra special love and attention. I'm hoping to be able use my experience and love for animals to help others care for their own beloved furry family members when they can't be there. I work from home so I'm able to be with your fur buddy all day, every day. Only time I might leave is if I need to run an errand but I usually wait until my husband is home so your fur buddy is never left alone. I have a large field right next to my house that's great for walking dogs plus a fenced in patio, great for lounging on nice days. I have 2 cats at home that are always shy at first but come around after a couple hours
About: I have had pets since I was about 10 years old. After losing my last couple of dogs to age and terminal illness, we have taken on the approach of fostering over another adoption currently. Eventually we will be adding more furry family members but right now loving on all the other doggies is where we are at ❤️ I currently work from home full time so I am home for full time direct care. I have two daughters part time Monday and Tuesday and every other weekend who are also experienced as I have fostered big breed dogs on and off the last 5 years. I work from home and am available almost always. It is always either just me, me and my boyfriend or all of us and my 2 littles. I do not have a fenced yard as I am in a townhouse currently. But my boyfriend does have 3 acres of land we can go visit for extra run around time if travel less than 30 min is allowed.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
