About: Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets, so as soon as I was on my own, I got my first guinea pig! I'm currently taking care of two piggies, and contrary to popular belief, they all require very meticulous care — constant fresh water and unlimited hay, daily vitamin C tablets, fresh veggies, portioned pellets, daily spot cleaning with a full cage cleaning every two weeks, and the occasional eye ointment when a piggy gets a case of hay poke. I also have experience administering oral medication to guinea pigs. I got my first dog in October of 2023 — a Border Collie puppy! She gets weekly teeth brushing, coat brushing, nail trims, and paw pad shaving when appropriate. I take real pride in keeping up with her hygiene, with baths about every three months (unless she gets filthy beforehand) and frequent paw washings when it's muddy out. I also maintain a training regimen — I'm not by any means a professional or certified trainer, but I'm both consistent and persistent about getting my pup to a level that Victoria Stilwell would be proud of. I watched A LOT of It's Me or the Dog growing up! I also have experience caring for dogs in heat. My experience with cats isn't as in-depth as my guinea pig and dog experience, but rest assured, I have plenty of love and care to offer them too! I've house sat cats in the past for weeks at a time — feeding, watering, playing, and cleaning litter boxes regularly. My cat care doesn't go much past those basics, but I take direction well and am always willing to take on kitties with more specialized needs. About: I’ve taken care of my dogs since I was a teenager! I usually take care of friend’s and family’s dogs as well. Dogs are usually pretty easy going to get along. I work remotely and have plenty time to stay with the animals. I also spend my night at home home. Half of the week I have my 6 year daughter with me. I live in an apartment. About: I offer small-group, in-home boarding, designed for pet parents who want something more personal than a traditional boarding facility. I intentionally keep the number of guest dogs small and manageable. While I do welcome pets from multiple families, I don't believe in packing a large number of dogs into one space. My goal is for every dog to receive individual attention, supervision, affection, and care rather than simply being one of many. Our home is spacious and set up to give dogs room to relax. We have two living rooms, a large unused basement area, and a fully privacy-fenced yard. Someone is almost always home, so your dog isn't spending the majority of the day alone. I have two senior dogs of my own, and I'm very intentional about maintaining a calm, safe environment for everyone's comfort. Because this is our family home, I do have a few house rules. Dogs are not allowed on our beds or couches, and I use baby gates or separation when necessary for safety, feeding, introductions, or simply giving a dog some downtime. My $35/night rate is intentionally priced below many local boarding and daycare facilities, while still providing the advantages of a home environment: a smaller group, more individualized attention, a spacious home, a private fenced yard, and someone nearby most of the time. About: I have had a number of families count on me to take care of both their children and pets for over 20 years (including dogs, cats, birds, and fish). Recently, I've taken care of a few family members' senior dogs and cats so I am experienced with administering medications. In my own free time I love going for walks (as well as runs if your dog would like that). I am a flight instructor at one of the local airports which gives me a flexible schedule. There are also days when the weather isn’t “flight friendly” (hello spring!) which allows me to stop by and walk your dog/feed your pet. I show up when needed, talk to the pets, show them lots of love and attention, and take care of my responsibilities (feeding, letting outside, walking, medication etc). My main gig is flight instructing. Everything in flying has a checklist so you can count on me to follow any instructions you leave me.

I have my own 2 dogs/ they are better than children to me- I understand how loving and attentive a caregiver need a to be. I am very punctual and I show up on time and do what I promised to do at the best of my abilities.
