We are available before school, after school and in the evening. Typically we would need to leave your house by 7:00 to get to school. Afterschool we are available 4:30 and after until 9:00 at night. We are respectful of your space, privacy, and safety and will be sure to follow all instructions when entering to walk dog or do drop in visit. About: I've always had a dog growing up, but I got my first dogs that were just mine as puppies about 13 years ago. A St. Bernard and a Golden. I eventually acquired an ex's highly anxious German Shepherd, who was the same age. I've lost them all to old age in the past year or so, so I absolutely love caring for others' dogs! I work from home and have a fenced in yard, as well as experience with crate training and females in heat. I feel like this service benefits me just as much, it more than, you and your pets! All I ask for is transparency about any possible issues (aggression, etc.) so I can work with them. I work exclusively from home, so I can attend to all of your pets' needs. This is my first year NOT having dogs in the house, and I frequently keep my "nephew" (my brother's dog) I have a fenced in yard, no longer have any pets, unfortunately. My home is large but still dog-proofed, so I can restrict pets to a certain floor or area as needed.

About: I am available for drop ins over the holidays! I have spent my entire life around animals! I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and horses, as well as some experience with small pets, including rabbits, ferrets, and aquarium animals. I am certified in Cat & Dog first aid through the Red Cross, and I have previously worked full-time at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so I have plenty of experience with all different types of dogs. I am also comfortable administering oral and topical medications, and have limited experience with injected medications. My schedule tends to be very flexible; however, I appreciate requests made well in advance. Please be aware that on a typical day I am ONLY available in the mornings and evenings, not at midday. I have experience taking care of many anxious pets, so I always work hard to make sure that each animal is as comfortable and happy as they can be! During walks, that means sniffing if they want to sniff and running if they want to run. I do not interact with other dogs or people on walks, no matter the friendliness/reactivity level of your dog, to keep yours as safe as possible.

About: We are an active family that loves fresh air and exercise. We regularly walk, run, hike, and bike on the nearby trails and at Blackhoof park and Shawnee Mission park. We have 4 kiddos who love to cuddle and play with dogs. Our 10 year old black lab passed away a few years ago and we decided to wait for our next pet while raising the kids. While we don’t have a dog of our own right now, we love to cuddle our doggie friends when they come over to visit! Dogs have free roam of the house but we could crate your dog when we are away if that is your preference. About: I have taken care of dogs and puppies and knowing how they need to be handled during highschool and while being in college as a pre med student. I have had people rely on me for dog walks, baths, dog sitting, interacting with other dogs as well. I have experience with different types of breeds as well and with their temperaments. About: I love dogs and we recently lost our family dog (Pedro) that we were blessed to consider part of the family since I was little. Pedro was my personal dog and loyal protector and we miss him very much. I live in Lenexa, KS (my hometown) during the summers, and the rest of the year I live abroad in Portugal as a professional soccer player. Growing up on a small farm I've had the good fortune to have helped raise everything from cats and dogs to horses and chickens as well as helping my mother with her own pet sitting business for many years while in college. He took him swimming and gave him a bath along with his two dogs. My puppy gained a ton of socialization experience and picked up no bad habits! I have never seen my dog so comfortable around a stranger! Richard also sent me picture updates. This experience has exceeded my expectations. I don't think his first stay away from home could have gone any better!”

“Kelsey was fantastic!! Our lab has such a great time with Kelsey & her family and was so well cared for! Mango spent 6 weeks with Kelsey due to overseas work and it worked so well! Immediately upon our meet and greet I could tell Kelsey was the perfect person for us - friendly, easy to communicate with, flexible, had a golden retriever for our dog to play with, allowed dogs on furniture, lots of outdoor playtime, and a loving home. Clear communication and pictures every few days kept us informed. I would happily use Kelsey again (Mango would love to go back and see the whole family again) and would recommend her to everyone!
