About: Grew up with beagles and now have pit bulls. There is very little I haven’t seen or helped out with in my life. Excited to meet your dogs and do my best! Working full time teaching right now but can possibly get out for an hour and half for lunches. Anytime availability from 4pm to 10 pm on weekdays. Treat every animal I encounter like my own. About: Hello, How it all began. I grew up in a rural setting with multiple dogs, indoor and outdoor cats and for a few years chickens. One specific dog named Maxine was a beautiful intelligent, gentle Doberman that stole my heart. The bond I shared with her was special and she was my best friend. I knew from a young age I wanted to take care of animals. Fast forward, I'm a parent to 3 active kids, 2 sleepy cats, and 2 dogs (Pablo & Van). Over the past 10 years we've had a guinea pig, dwarf frogs, a hamster, and a Betta fish as well. A few years ago our family fostered 11 sweet dogs and 2 kittens. We have done in home care for a friends pup when they went out of town. My oldest daughter and I volunteered at the Lawrence Humane Society in the past for a year. Our big family of animal lovers would love to care for your pet. I work from home each week. This gives me ample availability to care for your pet. My husband is also available multiple days a week and our two high schoolers are usually home in the evenings each day to give extra snuggles to your pet. We have a fenced in backyard. The back fence wall is a 6ft privacy fence, the side fences are chain link. They will have access to the backyard at any time.

She was thorough and conscientious in sending me pictures as I requested and updates about Jasmine’s well-being throughout the day. About: We are an active family that loves fresh air and exercise. We regularly walk, run, hike, and bike on the nearby trails and at Blackhoof park and Shawnee Mission park. We have 4 kiddos who love to cuddle and play with dogs. Our 10 year old black lab passed away a few years ago and we decided to wait for our next pet while raising the kids. While we don’t have a dog of our own right now, we love to cuddle our doggie friends when they come over to visit! We have a large fully fenced backyard so there is plenty of room to run around and play fetch. I am at home during the day so potty breaks and outside playtime are available all day long. Of course there is plenty of time for snuggles too! I am a stay at home parent with 3 kids in school and 1 in preschool. Except for occasional errands or picking the kids up from school, I am at home most of the time so outside playtime and potty breaks can happen whenever needed. Dogs have free roam of the house but we could crate your dog when we are away if that is your preference. We live on a a cul de sac and have a fenced in backyard, making outside playtime easily available. We love to play with our doggie friends!

About: Growing up, I was never allowed to have pets, so as soon as I was on my own, I got my first guinea pig! I'm currently taking care of two piggies, and contrary to popular belief, they all require very meticulous care — constant fresh water and unlimited hay, daily vitamin C tablets, fresh veggies, portioned pellets, daily spot cleaning with a full cage cleaning every two weeks, and the occasional eye ointment when a piggy gets a case of hay poke. I also have experience administering oral medication to guinea pigs. I got my first dog in October of 2023 — a Border Collie puppy! She gets weekly teeth brushing, coat brushing, nail trims, and paw pad shaving when appropriate. I take real pride in keeping up with her hygiene, with baths about every three months (unless she gets filthy beforehand) and frequent paw washings when it's muddy out. I also maintain a training regimen — I'm not by any means a professional or certified trainer, but I'm both consistent and persistent about getting my pup to a level that Victoria Stilwell would be proud of. I watched A LOT of It's Me or the Dog growing up! I also have experience caring for dogs in heat. My experience with cats isn't as in-depth as my guinea pig and dog experience, but rest assured, I have plenty of love and care to offer them too! I've house sat cats in the past for weeks at a time — feeding, watering, playing, and cleaning litter boxes regularly. My cat care doesn't go much past those basics, but I take direction well and am always willing to take on kitties with more specialized needs. I hope this gives you confidence in my ability to properly care for your pet! I'm always happy to answer any questions or concerns, and I will NEVER take a risk that could negatively affect you or your beloved pet. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends are wide open for me, unless my calendar says otherwise. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I work a 9-5, so pet sitting visits on those days are scheduled around my work hours, but I'm still available for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. No matter the day, your pet gets my full attention and the quality care they deserve, every single time. You can never be too safe, and you can never take too many precautions.

About: I have had a number of families count on me to take care of both their children and pets for over 20 years (including dogs, cats, birds, and fish). Recently, I've taken care of a few family members' senior dogs and cats so I am experienced with administering medications. In my own free time I love going for walks (as well as runs if your dog would like that). I am a flight instructor at one of the local airports which gives me a flexible schedule. There are also days when the weather isn’t “flight friendly” (hello spring!) which allows me to stop by and walk your dog/feed your pet. I show up when needed, talk to the pets, show them lots of love and attention, and take care of my responsibilities (feeding, letting outside, walking, medication etc). My main gig is flight instructing. Everything in flying has a checklist so you can count on me to follow any instructions you leave me.
