Active family loves to be outside!
We are an active family that loves fresh air and exercise. We regularly walk, run, hike, and bike on the nearby trails and at Blackhoof park and Shawnee Mission park. We have 4 kiddos who love to cuddle and play with dogs. Our 10 year old black lab passed away a few years ago and we decided to wait for our next pet while raising the kids. While we don’t have a dog of our own right now, we love to cuddle our doggie friends when they come over to visit! We have a large fully fenced backyard so there is plenty of room to run around and play fetch. I am at home during the day so potty breaks and outside playtime are available all day long. Of course there is plenty of time for snuggles too!

Susan took wonderful care of my cats while I was away from home. She sent me detailed updates daily on how my cats were doing, made sure they had everything they needed, and spent time playing with them and giving them some very welcome attention and pets. I definitely recommend Susan and wouldn't hesitate to rebook in future!
Susan and Christopher are the best! Great communication, they always take my dogs on walks, and play with them. I know they are loved and safe!
Susan and Christopher were great and she sent daily photos of our dog and gave us update on how the stay was going. Our pupper looked like she had a great time and Susan’s kids loved her and played with her as well
Finn had the best time here! He wasn’t super clingy when we picked him up and that was a huge sign to me that he felt very comfortable there! Susan was great at sending updates with pictures! Would highly recommend and will be booking with her again!
Susan and family are wonderful. They took in my older Highly anxious dog for a weekend and treated him with lots of love. She got him to relax and calm down and that speaks volumes to her patience and ability to connect with dogs. I will definitely be using their family again. 10/10!!
We had a wonderful experience with this sitter! They took excellent care of our dog while we were away for a full week and gave us complete peace of mind. We especially appreciated the daily photo updates—it was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable our dog was each day. Their home was warm, welcoming, and truly felt like a home-away-from-home for our dog. It was clear they treated her with kindness and genuine care. We would absolutely trust them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving and reliable sitter.

Schedule
I am a stay at home parent with 3 kids in school and 1 in preschool. Except for occasional errands or picking the kids up from school, I am at home most of the time so outside playtime and potty breaks can happen whenever needed.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs have free roam of the house but we could crate your dog when we are away if that is your preference. We live on a a cul de sac and have a fenced in backyard, making outside playtime easily available. We love to play with our doggie friends!
A typical day
We love to get fresh air and exercise. We usually start the day with a walk followed by lots of playtime in the backyard. Of course there is plenty of time for napping and snuggling on the couch.
