About: Hi, I’m Claire! I’m a college student who’s been around dogs my whole life. I honestly can’t imagine life without them. My family has owned puppies, big dogs, old dogs, and small dogs, so I know how different their personalities and needs can be. I have always helped out with taking care of my family's dogs by walking, running around in the backyard, cuddling, and providing food/water. Additionally, over the past several years, I have taken care of my neighbors' pets by doing drop-ins when they were out of town. So whether it’s going for a walk, playing their favorite game, or just hanging out, I love spending time with dogs and making sure they’re happy and comfortable. Note about boarding: I live at home with two dogs (a chihuahua and a Bernese Mountain Dog). Both dogs are super friendly and get along great with other dogs. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping everything consistent for them. I make sure they’re fed, walked, and cared for just like you would. I will always leave your home just as I found it and make sure all doors and dog crates are locked up when I leave. Lauren was the absolute best! Meeting w her previously to scheduling visits, I could tell she was a real animal lover. My old girl Chloe was recently diagnosed with diabetes and I had only just started medication when I needed to schedule a sitter due to work. I was naturally a nervous wreck but Lauren was extremely competent & communicative. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
