“Lori did several drop ins on my sweet Kitty and although I haven’t made it back home yet, I can tell that my kitty loved her from all of the pics that were sent. Lori was also nice enough to bring my many packages in for me and brought our mail in. I know that we will be using her in the future for house sitting!! Feel so lucky to have found her. You can tell she is loved by the pets she watches.”

About: I have dog sat and cared for many other dogs and animals before. I will always make sure the animals are well treated for and the house is taken care of. I am very friendly and strive to make sure every experience is friendly. I have two dogs of my own. I am excited to be able to take care of your dogs and make sure they get what they need while you are away from home. Something that sets me apart from other sitters and walkers is that I am very client forward and will work to meet your needs. I am currently working part time, so I will have plenty of time to play with your pups, I am available for walks and check ins Monday/wednesday/ thursday and house sitting Monday- Sunday! I follow all directions owners leave for me to care for their dog and home.I also help run errands while owners are away, and in warmer months I take care of indoor and outdoor plants
“Melissa has been dropping in to check on my dog twice a week for few weeks now. She’s great at communicating and patient with Bunny (she’s a bit shy of new friends)! I also appreciate that she thinks ahead for holidays to check if I’ll be home during normal days she checks on Bunny. I highly recommend her and I would give 10/5 stars if I could! Thanks Melissa!”

“Taryn did such a great job taking care of our dog while we were away! So grateful for her. She is communicative, responsible, and so kind. Would highly recommend!!”

“This was the second time that Rachel took care of my boy while I was away, and this time it was a longer trip! She was wonderful, in playing with him, petting him, & responding promptly to my messages about him. She also threw out a dirty cat water filter for me & checked the auto feeder for me when I had some concerns about it. The other great thing was she sent through some great photos of my little boy.”

“Ron took great care of our dogs over a five day period during a busy holiday season. His drop-in visits occurred in the schedule we had requested, and he managed the daily walks we had asked for in addition to the regular feeding, watering, and backyard visits. With all the real-time notices of his visits, and we were able to relax and enjoy our trip. Great experience!”

“Nancy is amazing and extremely proffesional! She does 5 drop ins a week for me while I am at work. My dog and her are best friends now. She provides pictures and videos of her playing with my pup everyday and its reassuring my dog is in good hands.”

“If I could give Kadyn 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Not only did she come to our rescue when our other sitter unexpectedly (and quite unceremoniously, I should add) canceled our pet-sitting while my husband and I were across the ocean, but she also consistently went above and beyond. I sent her all the materials I had sent the other sitter and tried to be as available as possible, but she honestly didn't really need me. She took such amazing care of our two kitties and sent even better pictures and updates. If you're able to book her, absolutely do. Impeccable isn't praise enough.”

“Chandler is amazing, great communication, she has a real affection for animals. My dog (puppy) warmed up to her. Will definitely request her above notch services next time I visit KC. Do yourself a favor, book with Chandler and your pups will be in great hands!”

About: I grew up with dogs in my home and had a dog myself until recently. My wife has had a similar history but also took care of a variety of farm animals. I started dog sitting for friends while I lived in various places on the east coast prior to starting with Rover in California in 2019. We hope to rescue another dog of our own in the near future, but until then, we will be spoiling your pup with belly rubs. We are friendly, reliable and trustworthy young-professional, who can't wait to meet your 4-legged best friend and will care for dogs of any age and size. Don't be shy to message us with any questions, as we want to make sure you are 100% comfortable before handing over the leash. My wife and I work from home full time, which allows us to spend extra quality time with the pets during the weekdays. We are typically early risers already, so morning potty breaks require no adjustment to our sleep schedules. First time clients will be required to participate in a preliminary meet & greet session. This will allow me to meet you and your pet in person. It’s a nice gesture for us humans, but it is essential for most dogs to be able to feel comfortable with a new person watching after them for the first time; your pet’s comfort and safety are my No. 1 priorities! During house sitting meet & greets, please feel free to show me parts of the home you’d want me to be aware of and advise of important routines (gardeners, pool staff etc) that you may want me to continue during your time away from home.
Mission Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Crissy went above and beyond to take care of my 3 pets. I had a family emergency while I was traveling, so they extended the checkins. When we had a blizzard, they took my dog Sadie to their house and cared for her until the storm cleared. It means a lot to me that they took care of things so I could attend to my family in Pennsylvania. Thank you!

Georgia did a meet and greet with us and our doggos before booking. She was kind and patient and asked pertinent questions. I felt safe and that our dogs were in very capable and caring hands with Georgia. The Rover app is so easy to use and the process was smooth.

Lori did a great job with our cats, Luna and Puck — and a great job keeping my mind at ease while we traveled. Luna got the attention she craves, and Puck, whose usual mode is to hide from anyone he doesn’t know, emerged to enjoy her visits. Twice daily photos of happy cats made our trip delightful.

This was our 2nd time booking with Avery, both times for a holiday away! She is amazing with our 2 cats and is so thorough and communicative, which has been such a necessity and relief for the care of our kitty boys who have anxiety and medical needs. Will rebook whenever possible!
