About: I recently left an executive position with an animal welfare nonprofit/veterinary clinic. In my newly acquired free time, I'd love to help you with your pet(s)! I have handling experience and am comfortable with both dogs and cats. If you have a nervous animal, I'm happy to try to ease in to being their new friend. I also have experience administering medication to pets. Until I decide to seek another full-time position, I'm available most days and some evenings. I would be open to regularly scheduled walks or drops ins for the next several weeks. Our family has 2 cats and 3 dogs and we love them all dearly. I've also fostered for KC Paws as well as my former organization.

About: I’ve been pet sitting and fostering with KCPP for over 10 years and truly love caring for animals. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. Through the years I’ve cared for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, medical conditions, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. I’m big on following your instructions exactly, as no one knows your furry loved one the way you do. I also have personal experience caring for a senior dog, which taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of paying close attention to comfort, routines, and changing needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently work full-time remotely from home, from 6am-2pm. Then I nanny from 3-6pm. The only time I’m unavailable for drop-ins is during my nanny shift from 3-6pm, my full-time job allows me a lot of flexibility. In a client’s home, I respect their space and keep things clean, calm, and consistent. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, medications as needed, and get the right amount of playtime and attention based on their needs and energy level. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality, whether they need extra cuddles, a slower pace, or lots of activity—and I adjust my care accordingly. I’m also comfortable caring for senior dogs and understand the importance of patience, gentle handling, and monitoring for changes in comfort or behavior. Since I’m new to Rover but have years of dog sitting experience, I take communication seriously and follow instructions carefully while providing updates. About: Hi! I'm Michelle, I've been dogsitting for friends and family since ~2016 and finally became a dog mom in 2020--it's the best! My husband, Brad, and I both love animals and are excited to join the Rover sitter community. We are comfortable with dogs of any age and any breed, and would care for your dog as if s/he were our own. We can administer medications as needed (we mostly have experience with oral and topical meds, but are willing to learn what's needed for your furry friend) and are very attentive to your dog's diet and feeding regime. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home while you are away! Michelle works from home so your dog won't be on their own for long periods while staying at our home. We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). My husband and I have a large, fenced in backyard that's perfect for zoomies and playtime, and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our 6 year old pup, Joni, is always looking for new friends and someone to share her toys with (she's up to date on her vaccinations and preventative meds and ask that your dog be as well). If your dog is crate trained, we'd be happy to find a space to set that up for them in our home during their stay, or they are welcome to use Joni's old crate which we can set up if needed. Additionally, feel free to bring any toys or bedding/blankets that help make your dog feel at home; we want him/her to have what they need to be comfy while you are away.
