Since retiring from education in June 2022, my schedule has been rather flexible. I am available on a weekly or daily basis. I occasionally am out of the area for weekend part-time work (mainly in winter).

I strive to provide as much normalcy for pets as I can. A pet’s whole world is focused on their owners, and when the owners are away, it can induce anxiety for the animal. I try to spend as much time as possible with the pet and maintain the pet’s routine.

Prior to a visit, I would like to know your pet's likes/dislikes, how food should be served, and special idiosyncrasies your pet might possess. Cats have opinions on being held, brushing, types of toys, etc., and I would like to fit in with your pet as much as I can!
A typical day
When I drop in on your cat, the first thing I will do is pet your cat. He/she is probably lonely and would like some attention. If your cat like to play, then play we shall! After about ten minutes and your cat has "killed" his/her prey, I feed the cat. While the cat is feeding, I will check/sift litter boxes and check around for any accidents. Depending on how much time is left, we can play or just hang out.

I grew up in a home with pets, mainly cats and dogs. As an adult, cats have lived with me. I no longer have any pets, but I love visiting homes with pets! I have cared for the pets of friends when they go on extended vacations. I am most comfortable with cats.

He was very polite and accommodating to last minute schedule changes. Moreover, he was quick to initially respond to a last-minute booking! On that note, Jeffrey does respond quite fast. His reports are nicely detailed as well!
