My name is Ron and I provide supervised, safe and comfortable daycare or overnight stay for your dog in my house in Brookside. I work my "real" job from home so your dogs are well supervised. I will walk your dog additionally my house provides a completely fenced in yard for frequent potty breaks and fresh air. I only crate dogs if you bring them. I am flexible and will accommodate varying pick up and drop offs. I have one sweet terrier mix "Cooper" that loves to play and loves the other dogs we watch. Don't worry your 4 legged family members are in great hands with us. Come over and meet us. Looking forward to meeting you and your pups. We'll See you soon!

I service southwest Johnson County. If you are taking a vacation, travel for work, work long hours, work more than 1 job, are busy with a wedding, are busy with selling your house, if you are having work done at your house, or just need someone to help you out with caring for your beloved pet(s) please reach out. I can board dogs in my home while you are away or come over to your house to visit and/or walk your pets. I can work with you if you have some special needs that don't quite fit into normally offered services. I have alot of experience with shy & fearful dogs that need a little extra time to adjust to a new person in their life. I also have clients that have dog reactive dogs so am experienced in handling these types of dogs when going for a walk when we might encounter another dog. I care for extra big dogs as well as teeny tiny dogs. I have also visited cats in their home to feed, take care of the litterbox, & give some attention. Have a rabbit needing some looking after while you are away, no problem I have cared for them as well. Have multiple pets, most of my clients do & the more the merrier. I foster dogs for Great Plains SPCA so I have a wide range of experience working with different personalities, breeds, sizes, energy levels, & behaviors. Just send me a message & let me know what your needs are & let's see if we can work something out.

Stay at home mom with great yard!Lee's Summit, MO

I have had dogs in my family my entire life. I grew up with small dogs and have owned large dogs with my husband. My husband, Andrew, and I rescued a dog from a shelter together as soon as we got married. We have two little boys who love every dog they have ever met. We also have the perfect house for your dog to come stay. We have a large backyard with lots of squirrels to chase and sticks to chew. Our dog, Oakley, is a 9 year old golden retriever mix. She is a sweetheart and loves playing with other dogs. We also allow dogs to roam freely in our home and we will treat your dog(s) as if they are our own.

**Please read my profile before sending a request, please also note, I do not accept drop offs before 8am (daycare drop offs being the exception) or pick ups after 830pm, unless previously agreed upon at least 48 hours in advance**

We will make your pet feel right at home when they come stay with us. We are located right off for i35, which is especially easy to get to when headed to the airport. We do have a very large, fenced in backyard for the pups to run and play in. Our neighbors are also extremely friendly and love to come meet and play with our boarding dogs. We strive to sticking to the dogs schedule that they’re comfortable with at their own home. I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old so someone is at home all of the time to give your pets the love and attention they deserve. I do offer house sitting, which would be me coming to spend the night with your animals in their own home. This can be the best option for pets with high anxiety or pets that don’t like to be around other pets. I offer boarding in our home for both cats and dogs.

I do offer free pick up and drop off for all pets within a 10 mile radius. I just ask that your pet be accustomed to leash walking and car rides for this service.

I offer drop in visits as well as walks. Drop in visits are 30 minute long visits where I come to your home to provide food/water, a walk or potty break and lots of attention. I offer drop in visits for cats as well, where I will come give your kitty lots of attention, scoop the litter box and offer food/water.

I have experience with animals with diabetes that require insulin injections as well as pets with medication or special care needs.

A little about my family and myself-

I'm a 26-year-old female living in Merriam. I attended college and majored in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I have one child, he is 2 years old. We have worked extremely hard with him on proper manners around all animals especially dogs. My husband works full time, but when he is home he is hands on helping with the animals in our home. Since I am home full time I am able to send as many pictures and updates as you want. I am also available for FaceTime if that is something you would want to do with your pet while your away.

We have 2 dogs that reside in our home with us. We have fostered for a few different rescues occasionally and have regular boarding clients that frequently use our services. I have experience with all breeds and sizes of dogs as well as cats. We have been involved in the animal rescue world for over 7 years and have been using Rover for 2 years. I am organized, punctual, and a non-smoker.

A little more about our personal pets-

Max is our lab, he is almost 10 years old now. He knows the ropes of the pet sitting business as he has been involved since the beginning. He loves all other dogs/cats and every single humans he meets.

Milly is our basset hound mix, she is almost 4 years old. She is the reason we started pet sitting. Since Max is getting older she was always looking for a dog playmate and Rover gives her the chance to meet and play with new dogs all of the time. She is a vocal player and loves to be chased/chase other dogs in the backyard. She isn’t a pushy player however and doesn’t annoy other dogs that do not want to play. She is dog/cat friendly and loves humans of all sizes.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to meeting you and your pets!!!

Hi, I'm Katy, and I and my family love animals and would love to welcome your pooch to our home for some great TLC and fun for our own dog. Our animals are treated like family, and we would treat your family member just like one of ours.

We have one dog, a six-pound Maltipoo, and one cat, although we have previously had large dogs, too. Our Derby, a golden retriever, passed away in March 2018. We have a large backyard with a privacy fence, so there is plenty of room to run and play. When we are away from home, any guest dogs are treated just like ours. Our dogs are loose in the house, and nothing is off limits except the kids' rooms. We don't leave dogs outside for extended periods, especially when we are not at home.

If your dog needs special care like medicine administered or even shots, I am able to take on that challenge.

Although I am not home during the day, I do come home for lunch to check on our own animals, and my husband and son are home only a few hours later, so the time your dog would be without human contact is fairly minimal.

I do offer a discount for multiple dogs. Please ask me about it when booking.

Also, I would prefer not to watch puppies, especially if they are not house-trained, but I am willing to discuss hosting your pup depending on the age. I am most comfortable if the dogs are over one year in age.

Please consider our home for your dog's "home away from home".

'Paws' & Relax in Olathe, KSOlathe, KS

Looking for a calm, relaxed environment for your "best friend?" That's the energy your pet will feel here. I will adhere to your rules, boundaries, and limitations to maintain your leadership, but more importantly, I WILL LOVE YOUR DOG(S) JUST AS YOU DO!

Here are the Top 10 Questions (asked and answered) that may help you decide to book with me on Rover:

1. How do we get started?

First, set up an account with Rover or move your DogVacay account to Rover (they have merged!).

Next, CHECK MY CALENDAR! It is always current, and updated. It is usually pretty full, especially at holiday times. Reserve your dates well IN ADVANCE! (Some clients book on Rover, then make their own travel plans!) If your dates are available, request the reservation online. Rover provides insurance for your pets while in my care – so every booking must be made online, through Rover.com.

**Dates not available?**

CONTACT ME via Rover! In your message, include the dates you need.

I will try to accommodate your request if possible. If I cannot accept your baby in my home, there is another option that is not advertised:

~If your pet(s) can manage at home, alone, for four or five hours at a time, as well as overnight, and, if you live relatively close to me (within 20 miles), I can often arrange to visit your "furry friend(s)" at YOUR house, 3 or 4 times a day while you are away. I cannot stay at your house, but 4 visits usually look like this:

~Early in the morning (7:00 AM), Walk, Feed

~Mid-day (noon), Potty-break, Play, Cuddle

~Supper time (5:30 PM), Walk, Feed

~Bed-time (11:00 PM), Potty-break, Play, Cuddle

If I am visiting your pup(s), I can also care for any other "friends" in the house. . . cat(s), bird(s), hamster(s), etc. . . . . according to your instructions. I have been known to collect mail, water the plants, and put out the trash for pick-up . . . . . I won't clean or do dishes . . . . I don't even do that at my own house!

2. What does it cost?

After nearly 5 years, I have recently raised my regular fee to $25 per dog, per night. in my home. You will find that this is MUCH less costly than boarding your baby at a kennel, a veterinarian, a doggie-daycare, or an extended-stay facility. PLUS, you can be assured that your pet will get individual attention, lots of play and exercise, and the same level of TLC you provide at home!

If you prefer that your dog be the 'only child' while at my house, the fee is a bit higher ($35 per night). I will not accept any other reservations and your pup will have my undivided attention! Be sure to note this when you make the reservation. I will adjust the fee manually.

3. How does the online booking work?

Rover will notify me as soon as you request a booking, and if my calendar is open, I will accept it. Your credit card is charged at the time of the booking, and you are all set.

4. Will you have other dogs during my pet’s stay at your house?

Your dates on my calendar will change to "unavailable" as soon as you book, and I accept, your reservation.

Occasionally, a "frequent flyer" (repeat customer) might ask me to watch a dog I know very well, at the same time another client is booked. If the “humans” are all amenable, and if all dogs are calm, stable, and friendly with other animals, I usually accept the additional request as a courtesy, but I would not do that without your knowledge and approval.

I am home most of the time, and my guests are always well-supervised. However, if it became necessary, I could separate my furry-friends between a gated kitchen, a large, comfortable kennel, a closed bedroom, or a closed office (both with large windows, comfy furniture, and plenty of toys!). That has rarely happened, as all guests have the run-of-the

house, all the time.

5. Can we meet you before reserving online?

Absolutely! I encourage you to bring your dog over to meet me before your trip. I do not require it – this is your option. We can arrange a “meet-and-greet” at my home, at a park, or even at your home. Many pets like to come over to “sniff out the house” before they arrive for their stay. Just request it online, before or after you book the reservation.

6. Do you have a fenced yard?

No, I do not have a fenced yard, but I take my "guests" for 2 long walks a day (first thing in the morning, before breakfast . . . . and again before dinner, in the evening.) We also take some short potty breaks in between, and before bed, all based upon the needs and preferences of your dog.

There is a large open field near my house, as well as a wonderful walking trail (a little more than a mile long) that encircles the neighborhood. All my dogs love to walk in both areas, always on a leash. They have a great time sniffing (bunnies, birds, squirrels, coyotes, fox, geese, turtles, and who-knows-what else!).

7. How will my dog spend the day?

He/she will play, sleep, walk, eat, and just 'hang-out' with me~I have a flexible schedule and I am at home as much as possible.

EVERY dog is a lapdog at my house. Your baby will be able to cuddle up with me on the couch, on the floor, or anywhere he/she chooses.

I will always make sure your furry friend is comfy and safe when I go out. My kitchen can be "secured" with a baby-gate that allows my dogs to see out, but stay in. I also have one large kennel. If your dog is accustomed to using a crate, you are welcome to bring your own, or just bring the blankets, pillows, and paraphernalia to snuggle inside mine.

ALL my furry-friends are welcome to sleep in my bed at night, but I will do my best to keep "your routines and practices" in place. If you bring a dog bed, and ask me to use it, I will.

8. What should we bring?

After you book, I will send ask you to share your email address. I will reply with a map and simple directions to my house. and a reminder list that makes packing for your furry friend a little easier.

9. What other information do you need?

Most important are your pet's vaccination records and your vet's contact information.

** In nearly 5 years in this business, I have never had an occasion to contact a client's vet, but should there ever be a need for emergency care, I would contact my own vet first. On the way, I would contact YOU, to let you know what was happening. If my DVM recommended that your "furry friend"seen by your veterinarian, I would arrange that immediately. **

In the Rover app, note your dog's daily schedule with feeding instructions. If you prefer you may send this info to me in email, or bring a hard copy when you come.

Finally, let me know your preferred drop-off and pick-up times. I am very flexible and will try my best to make it convenient for YOU. If you have an early flight, consider bringing your baby the evening before so that you have one less thing to worry about first thing in the morning.

On the last day of the stay, I will have everything packed and ready to go when you arrive. Those reunions are awesome ~ your dog will be wildly excited to see you!

10. Can we ask anyone else about you and your services?

Sure!! There are lots of reviews online – all very positive and flattering. I am very grateful when my clients recommend me to their friends. They know I love their babies, and pamper and spoil them just as their humans would do at home!

Take a moment to view the photos on the Rover.com website. All the dogs have been guests at my house. Book a stay on Rover.com for YOUR furry friend, and he or she could be the next member of this esteemed "club!"

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

NOTE: At this time, I only offer sitting for DOGS; I don’t currently accept cats in my home, but I can arrange to check-in on your cat(s), at your house. I will visit, clean the litter box, insure that the food and water bowls are full, play, cuddle, and give "kitty" treats, if allowed. While I am there, I am also happy to care for other pets (fish, birds, hamsters, etc)

according to your instructions. Ask for more information!

I am a third-grade teacher and although I love my kiddos, I have an affinity for dogs. They are each unique and always bring a smile to my face.

My dog-loving father lives a block away, therefore, he is available for potty breaks and anxiety issues during the day.

I have two friendly Boston Terriers named Gabrielle and Dakota. They love having company and know how to share. They are a bit of a clown and keep me on my toes.

Each animal is my priority and I have no problem carrying out their daily routines and learning their personality. Your pup is welcome on the furniture and allowed to sleep with me as well.

We enjoy playing fetch, doggie brain puzzles, going to the park, taking car rides and going for walks, or just playing in the fenced backyard.

( Please note: chain link fence is around 3 feet. There are two dogs on one side of the fence. I do not board certain breeds due to comfort levels of other clients.

Pics and videos will be sent to you daily. FaceTime your pup if you'd like!

Thank you in advance for trusting us with your family member, we promise to treat them like familia as well. Book now for a vaycay they won't forget!

I offer pet-sitting at my home or yours. I prefer pet-sitting in my home, because this way they are always with me. I hate leaving them alone, especially senior dogs, or dogs with medical conditions. It makes me feel more secure in the care I provide to the pet. I work at the largest Emergency Veterinary hospital in the metro on the weekends and have been there for 6 years. I have been in the veterinary field for 14+ years. I have 2 dogs and 2 god-dogs. My 2 boys are my kids, and that's how I treat all pets. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and could play with them 24/7! While at my home, they are offered free roam of the house, unless other directions are given by the pet owner. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and allowed to sleep in the bed, unless other directions are given by the pet owner. There are stairs in the home, however not needed to access outside or living areas. Monday through Friday I am basically home all day with the dogs except when I am at school. Saturday and Sunday I generally work 8-3, but have a web cam to keep an eye on everyone and or can have my fiancé hang out with them while I’m at work.
