I also live on a quiet dead-end street with very little traffic, making it a great place for safe walks and fresh air. Because I primarily work from home, your dog will have plenty of companionship and won't be left alone for long periods. I treat every Rover guest like they're part of the family and look forward to giving your pup a happy, stress-free stay! I work remote with a flexible schedule, so dogs are rarely left alone. If I do need to step out briefly, I'll follow your dog's normal routine—whether that's being crated, staying in a gated area, or another arrangement you're comfortable with. Although the yard is unfenced, I've always used leashes for potty breaks and walks with my own dog in the past, so supervised outdoor time is simply part of the daily routine. About: I've been taking care of my own pets (4 cats and 1 dog) for years and used to work as a Rainbow Valley vet clinic walker and boarder! I am currently living in Kansas City and my beloved kitty Nala who joined me up here passed in October. So I currently do not have any pets at home and would love some company boarding animals! I love watching both cats and dogs 🥰 I work from home and have very flexible work hours, so I have plenty of time for boarding and walking! I live in a house with a yard and have plenty of space for your pets to roam indoors! I have a medium sized yard for dogs and a house all to myself most of the time for animals to have their space! I love boarding overnight because of animal cuddles. I don't have a fence, but if your dog has a harness it won't be a problem at all!

About: Hi! I'm Michelle, I've been dogsitting for friends and family since ~2016 and finally became a dog mom in 2020--it's the best! My husband, Brad, and I both love animals and are excited to join the Rover sitter community. We are comfortable with dogs of any age and any breed, and would care for your dog as if s/he were our own. We can administer medications as needed (we mostly have experience with oral and topical meds, but are willing to learn what's needed for your furry friend) and are very attentive to your dog's diet and feeding regime. We can't wait to welcome your dog into our home while you are away! Michelle works from home so your dog won't be on their own for long periods while staying at our home. We love taking our dog, Joni, on walks (& runs) everyday (we usually go several times each day) and we have a large fenced in yard for additional playtime, so your pup will get lots of outside time to burn off energy and sniff. Your dog will have full access to our home, just as our Joni does, with a variety of toys and bed options (including couches) available throughout the day. You'll get regular photo updates of your pup's adventures while you're away (unless otherwise requested). My husband and I have a large, fenced in backyard that's perfect for zoomies and playtime, and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Our 6 year old pup, Joni, is always looking for new friends and someone to share her toys with (she's up to date on her vaccinations and preventative meds and ask that your dog be as well). If your dog is crate trained, we'd be happy to find a space to set that up for them in our home during their stay, or they are welcome to use Joni's old crate which we can set up if needed. About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. About: One of the happiest days of my life was when my parents surprised us with a dog for Christmas as a kid. I have a year of working at a dog daycare under my belt and come from a family of dog lovers (seriously we'll watch entire dog shows together and commentate it the whole time). Even though my dog has recently passed, I am very excited to help care for your dog!!! Currently my schedule is wide open for looking after dogs! About: I've been taking care of my own pets (4 cats and 1 dog) for years and used to work as a Rainbow Valley vet clinic walker and boarder! I am currently living in Kansas City and my beloved kitty Nala who joined me up here passed in October. So I currently do not have any pets at home and would love some company boarding animals! I love watching both cats and dogs 🥰 I work from home and have very flexible work hours, so I have plenty of time for boarding and walking! I live in a house with a yard and have plenty of space for your pets to roam indoors! I have a medium sized yard for dogs and a house all to myself most of the time for animals to have their space! I love boarding overnight because of animal cuddles. I don't have a fence, but if your dog has a harness it won't be a problem at all!
