About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I grew up training my German Shepherd from a young age, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand dog behavior, not just watch them.
