I booked with Taylor to watch my dog for a couple hours one morning. He has separation anxiety. She understands the needs for a dog with SA and was able to help manage his nerves while we were gone for some errands.

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our fur baby. This was our first time leaving our girl with someone we didn’t know but Alex answered all our questions and we felt more than comfortable leaving her for the day. We loved getting videos of her playing and having a good time with all her new friends. If in the KC area again, we would definitely take her back!

About: For 13 years, I owned a company providing pet care for many clients! For the last 8 years, I took care of my parents full time until they passed. I waited until I found the perfect house to turn into doggy paradise! I work for a nonprofit Vet clinic and for 13 years, I have arranged my life around a rescue dog that doesn’t do well staying at home alone! I don’t think it’s fair for pet parents to spend money for their dog to be locked in a cage. My dogs have never had to and yours won’t either! I work from home doing scheduling for a vet clinic 3 days a week. I have designed my life to be at home for my furkids and now yours too! I have a fenced yard am expanding our fence to include .78 acres! This summer, I am adding an all seasons room with dog doors for the pups and a gazebo for the dogs who love being outside to stay cool. I also have a she shed that is being upgraded for dogs that don’t like to share sleeping space with others or need some alone time. Lots of fuzzy beds, people beds with stairs and ramps. I literally bought this house for the dogs!

About: I have had many animals over the years. As I child, we had so many breeds of dogs. From Saint Bernard, Great Dane, and Bull Mastiff. To sheep dogs and small mixed breed dogs. We currently bace 1 cat, who is the chillest, sweetest cat I’ve ever known. We have 5 kids, who LOVE animals. Your sweet fur baby won’t even know you are gone, with all the love they would get at our house. I was laid off in 2024, so I am currently home with our toddler, while the big kids are at school. So your fur baby would have someone with them all day! We have a big fenced in yard, and a great neighborhood for walks! Your fur baby would be well loved in our care. I am currently home with our 1 year old daughter. My oldest are in school. We go to the gym a few times a week, and do some reselling on the side. But we are never gone for very long and can give your fur baby lots of love and attention. I have a fenced yard, with a 6 foot fence. So your fur baby will be safe! We have plenty of space to crate if needed. We also have a cat tree and lots of good hiding spots for more timid kitties.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and started caring for dogs when I was about 10 years old. Friends, neighbors, and family members have trusted me for years to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets while they’re away. What sets me apart is the level of attention and care I give every animal. I treat pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re gone. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any special instructions you have. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. Whether your dog loves, playtime, or just relaxing and getting attention, I adapt to what makes them happiest. I’m also patient with shy dogs and gentle with seniors who may need a slower pace or extra care. Communication is important to me, so I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you know your pet is doing great. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine. I’m available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends, which gives me plenty of time to give pets the attention and care they deserve. On the days I’m available, I make sure pets get regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy being active, so walks, play sessions, and outdoor time are something I genuinely look forward to. I’m also flexible and try my best to accommodate your pet’s normal routine so they stay comfortable and stress-free while you’re awa Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a large home and a fenced yard, which gives dogs plenty of space to move around, play, and relax safely. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs they may have. Whether that means sticking to a specific feeding schedule, giving medication, or providing extra playtime or cuddles. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: *I’m returning to Rover after a long break* Accepting New Clients My love for animals began early and my desire to have them as a part of my family was natural. I learned quickly that my pets preferred to be in the comfort of a home when I was away, where they could enjoy the luxuries of their favorite beds, outside backyard play and one on one attention. This is what lead to the development of The KC Pet Nanny. I found in 2004, when I was traveling, there were few acceptable options for my beloved furry kids aside from an expensive, cold kennels that were far from the home environment they appreciated & came to expect. How could I travel knowing my pets were not the happiest they could be? I couldn't. I set out to make dog sitting an option for everyone, even those within the animal rescue community which I am a proud part of. Each pet parent gets "Nanny Notes" detailing their dogs stay along with photos. *Subscriber to RelaxMyDog . com* I’m a retired Social Worker and I’m home most days. I also have a collage age daughter. I offer time outside to exercise and potty. We have socialization time inside. Most days, weather permitting, they are have the option of outside time every 2-3 hours, Our home environment is stable and harmonious. We have fun, we relax, we thrive. Whether it’s backyard play in a secured fence or indoor recess, safety is a priority.

Macy and Millie must’ve had a lot of fun with Nathen and his family - they came home tired! Where we live we don’t have a lot of space, so I like for them to get out and socialize a bit. I was worried about taking the girls somewhere new since we just moved to the area, but Nathen made sure to text me and let me know it was going well, so I didn’t worry the whole time. Thank you!

I booked James to watch my dog Gatsby for a week of doggy day care. Gatsby has separation anxiety, and at our point in his healing from this condition we really needed a person who could be with him during the whole time at doggy day care. James was able to help with this. James has been a tremendous help during this time and would recommend him for any pet owners dealing with SA. He was communicative and provided medication for us. He also provides pictures and is communicative about when he is taking care of your pet.
