“Sarah was amazing. This was our first time with a Rover and Lexi felt comfortable and apparently did well. I appreciate Sarah being patient with Lexi as she navigates our new schedule and doggy daycare.”

About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. I have a doggie door and the back door is always open. I have a 5 year old pup that is very calming and caring. She has been great with other dogs. She is very nurturing and always makes sure those in her space are safe. I have a couple of stories I can provide about her. I am very hands on and constantly checking on my girl and will do the same for your furbaby. Safety is very important to me, not only for your furbaby but for myself and my furbaby as well.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our fur baby. This was our first time leaving our girl with someone we didn’t know but Alex answered all our questions and we felt more than comfortable leaving her for the day. We loved getting videos of her playing and having a good time with all her new friends. If in the KC area again, we would definitely take her back!”

About: I’ve kept and rescued animals since a young age, which included tending to any wounds or injuries. My own pets were fosters, and most recently I fostered a lovely pittie who was then adopted. I’m very good with skittish cats, and I have a good understanding of basic dog training techniques. Lastly, I live a street away from a nice park which is good for dog walks. I love all animals, and spending time with them and caring for them is just as good for me as it is for them. I am currently self employed and jobs are few, so I have a very flexible schedule. Most, if not all my time would be dedicated to any pets in my care. I do have two of my own cats, so any dogs would have to be okay with cats in the house. All pets are different, with their own personalities, routines and likes/dislikes. Therefore, I plan to ask for detailed instructions regarding pet care. This can include things like a preference to crate the dog at night, dietary restrictions, favorite activities etc. I am detail oriented and appreciate any information or details owners can provide about their pets so that I may provide the best care possible.
About: I stand out as a pet sitter because of my personalized approach to each dog’s and cat’s unique needs. Whether it’s providing gentle care for senior pets, handling high-energy pups or playful cats with engaging activities, or helping with basic training for puppies or leash training for adventurous cats, I ensure every pet feels loved and comfortable. My experience includes recognizing signs of anxiety or stress in both dogs and cats, adapting to keep them happy and safe. Plus, my punctuality and dedication mean your pets receive consistent, attentive care every time. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine. With two cats—one indoor and one outdoor—and two dogs of different sizes, I’m constantly engaging with their unique needs. Whether it’s ensuring my indoor cat has plenty of enrichment or managing my outdoor cat’s safe exploration, I prioritize their well-being. For my dogs, I balance their energy levels by taking them to the dog park regularly, where they can socialize and exercise. My experience caring for my own pets helps me understand the importance of meeting each animal’s specific needs with patience and love. I care for pets with the same love and attention I give my own. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and even trips to the dog park for exercise and socialization. Cats enjoy a mix of interactive play and quiet moments, depending on their temperament. In my clients’ homes, I follow their routines and preferences to ensure a seamless experience for the pets. This includes feeding on schedule, walking, litter box care, administering medications if needed, and giving plenty of affection. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates to reassure owners their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 13. I'm 35. There's plenty of space in the house and a fenced in yard. I am currently staying home for the summer with my 4 year old son. We will be home full time! Let us help with your fur baby! I have a fenced in yard and a basement if the animal needs space. We will take the dogs out regularly. They will be safe and loved here.
About: I have dogs, puppies, kittens experience since 9 years old. I'm a very loving, protective, clean sitter. You can trust me in any situation. I am currently on summer break from school, I am available anytime of the day. I am very organized and if I sign up to work I will always make it on time. I'm very clean, it's safe where I live and it's running water, air conditioning, WiFi, food, I provide as much care as possible for guests and animals.
About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was about 10 years old. I am very good with following schedules, walks, food times, going out, administering meds, giving pets and hugs, etc. I have fostered dogs, owned and raised dogs, and love working with dogs of all ages and groups. I have extensive experience in working with senior dogs who may need a little extra time and attention. I’d be happy to take care of your pet while you’re away and you can be reassured he/she is in caring hands. Daily walks and dog parks? Not a problem! I work from home; so, while you’re away, I can be available in attending to your pet’s activities. I have a senior dog who is very dog friendly. We live in an apartment downtown and go on several leashed walks throughout the day and night.

“Kamila has been taking my Goldendoodle on walks while I am at work and has been so amazing! She communicates very well with me and has been so flexible with my nursing schedule. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone!!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

“Kellie Ann is so helpful and good with our two dogs! They love when she watches them and walks them! Kellie Ann was also flexible and helped cover shifts of another rover who had to cancel last minute due to illness. Thank you Kellie Ann!”

About: Recently graduated from Mizzou, I have spent the last 2 years helping to care for our house pets, including two cats and one dog. I worked to feed, walk, and engage with my pets during this period. Prior to this, I lived and cared for many animals back in my hometown: 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, 2 parrots, and a turtle. Because of this, I deliver versatile care, and understand that every pet has its own unique needs! I work 2 part time jobs, both in healthcare, where my hours are stacked on certain days of the week. This gives me flexibility to help care for your pets! Though each week can be a little different, I have my schedule set throughout the summer and can plan far ahead! I have such a big heart for animals! I love giving them attention and care above and beyond what's expected. I prefer to do this in a house sitting situation due to having 5 other roomates with animals here, but I have a car and am willing to do overnights!

About: I’ve taken care and bonded with many dogs. I’ve always been on top of the care of many dogs in my family and would love to extend that I’m a registered nurse working 3x a week. I have 4 days off a week that I can fully commit to caring for your pet. I live in a very pet friendly apartment. There’s plenty of walking space as well as a pet spa for baths. I have space for crates as well in my apartment
About: With a lifelong love for furry companions, my pet care journey has been shaped by the joyous company of a Labrador and a Chihuahua, both cherished members of my family since their puppy days. This hands-on experience has instilled in me patience, a positive approach, and an unwavering commitment to providing animals with engaging and fulfilling experiences. I am dedicated to extending this passion to your beloved pets, ensuring they receive the utmost care, attention, and joyful moments during our time together. I have flexibility in my day to stretch my legs and accompany your dog on a walk prior to work, during my lunch, or after work. When I take dogs for a walk, I make sure to stay attentive to their requirements. I make a conscious effort to prevent any reactive situations for the dog, strive to make the walk enjoyable by incorporating numerous grassy sniffing areas, and remain consistently vigilant to ensure a positive and pleasant experience for the dog.
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.

“Dependable, knowledgable and kind are the key words I would use to describe Jennifer's service. She has cared for our puppy twice, both times she walked him with her own dog, fed him and played with him. I came home to find a happy content puppy. Thanks Jennifer!”

“Dennis was enjoyable to work with and was understanding and kind to our Border Collie when she was hesitant to leave our house with a new person - he was patient and gained her trust.”

Our pets become family & I’d love to help take care of yours anyway I can! I own my own chiropractic office in downtown KC, so my hours & schedule are more flexible than some others. About: If you’re anything like me, your pets are some of the most important things to you. Leaving them behind is hard, and trusting a stranger to take care of them is even harder. Your pet is your baby — which is why I aim to provide them with the same level of care that you give them! EXPERIENCE: I am an experienced small and large breed dog owner, walker, trainer, and sitter with over 7 years of experience. I’m a certified dog-walker for KC Pet Project and have a degree in psychology that informs my training practices. Some of my other special skills include administering oral medications via pill or syringe, working with blind and deaf pets, adapting to various temperaments from wary seniors to energetic babies, attuning to body language, and providing first aid. One of my own dogs struggles with severe separation anxiety, so I have a wealth of experience with giving daily oral medications, lowering distress levels, and compassionately discouraging resulting destructive behaviors. My schedule is very flexible for walks and drop-in visits! To beat the heat, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. At this time, I am unavailable for constant-care overnight visits. Most of all, I aim to keep your pet safe and to communicate clearly and consistently with you. I’m happy to do meet-and-greets before services begin so that we can establish a relationship and set expectations. I am comfortable with kenneling, provide constant monitoring to ensure safety, and I value giving your pet plenty of attention when in my care. Even if your routine is unorthodox, I am open and willing to try it! Not to mention, I find it important to ensure tidiness and maintain organization by putting things back where they belong.

I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and personalities. From high-energy pups to shy senior kitties, I’m attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I’m also CPR/First Aid certified for pets and can administer medications if needed. Reliable communication, timely updates, and lots of photos are part of the experience when your pet is in my care. I want you to feel confident and relaxed while you're away. Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet — I’d love to connect and learn all about your pet’s routine, quirks, and favorite treats! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work full-time remotely, which gives me the flexibility to schedule visits throughout the day. I also babysit my niece and nephew twice a week, but I always make sure to plan my pet care visits around those times. I’m available early in the morning, during my lunch break, and after work, so I can provide consistent, timely care. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is the same: create a calm, loving, and safe environment where your pet feels comfortable and secure. I follow any instructions closely and stick to your pet’s usual routine as much as possible — including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medication needs. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things clean and tidy. I make sure your pet feels cared for, not just watched. I give them plenty of attention, snuggles (if they want them!), and engagement. I also send regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. If caring for pets in my own home, I make sure it’s a safe and welcoming space. My pets — Honey, Gigi, and Callie — are well-socialized, and I always do a slow, supervised introduction to make sure everyone gets along comfortably. I monitor all interactions closely to ensure an stress-free environment.

“Taylor was super great! She gave regular updates with great pictures and videos for our pups stay. We were so much happier with this than boarding our dogs. Thanks Taylor!”

“Great experience and a wonderful family. They loved our dog like he was their own. From the pictures they sent us, Sarge looked like he was living his best life while we were gone. Definitely a 5 star stay.”

“Nathan was friendly, accommodating and responsive to contact. Easy-going with several compatible dogs and large back yard. Charlie seemed content and well-cared-for.”

“Huge thank you to Sharon and Glen for welcoming Kyla into their home! They took great care of her, sent pictures daily, and they were excellent communicators! Our 16 year old girl will be staying with them again!”
“Lori is wonderful. She made Lucy feel at home. I got photos of things Lucy was doing when she ate and when she went out and partied and even just some cool photos of her sitting on the sofa, I felt like Lucy was in a wonderful home. Thank you so much excellent Service and I appreciate it.”

“Rachel was amazing! She was very communicative and was graciously flexible with my travel schedule. The dogs loved her and had an amazing time! Will definitely use her again in the future. No concerns whatsoever.”

“Samantha was great!! I ran into many crises during my trip and luckily I didn’t have to worry about my boy at all. I could tell Samantha was very caring and knew I was having trouble, so she even went out her way to accommodate me and the pup without complaint as she knew I had a lot on my plate. We need more Rover sitter like her!!”

“Dominic and his team at home took great care of Maddie. She came home worn out from all the playing with the other dogs. They have a great yard for outdoor playtime and plenty of beds all around (and a lap or two).”

“Madilynn is amazing! She’s watched Rocko three or four times now, and every stay has been effortless and full of peace of mind. She’s extremely communicative, always pleasant, and consistently sends pictures and updates that make me feel completely at ease. Rocko has truly become a part of her personal little wolf pack, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!”

“This was our fist time boarding our dogs. They did great and loved Joseph. He made them feel comfortable right away. They came back happy and tired. Would definitely recommend Joseph.”

“Noreen & family work very hard to make my dog comfortable when he stays there. Though he is always nervous when I leave him the pictures she sends assure me that he settles down and is comfortable. Always gets walks even though they also have fenced yard.”

“Nina did an excellent job of caring for our older dog. He needs to take pills 2x/day and has an odd diet and she kept to the guidelines on all of his weirdness. I hope Nina is free when I need a Rover next time!”

“Rebecca and her family were wonderful! We left our lab for the first time for 12 nights and were nervous about leaving him with someone we didn’t know for so long. He fit in great with them! The whole family treated him like part of their family. Rebecca sent us daily pictures and/or videos and was very responsive to all messages. We will definitely use her again if we need her services.”

“This was our first time using boarding on here and we’re so pleased with how his stay was at Rocio’s! Def will recommend, she sent us a ton of pics of our Arlo man and now he’s ready for bed!”

“Alex and Jacquelynne were amazing! They sent pictures and even a cute video of our dog while we were out of town. I knew our dog was in great hands! Kiva got in the car and immediately fell asleep, she was definitely worn out from all the play time! We highly recommend Alex and Jacquelynne if you need someone to watch your dog!”

“Misti provided good updates with cute pictures of my dog! She is a senior dog who needs lots of medications but I felt comfortable leaving her in Misti’s care. Will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Bandit was so happy and calm when I picked him up. It was very clear he was comfortable and well taken care of! She took him on several walks and sent many pictures. He was a HAPPY BOY!!”

“Jillian was absolutely amazing with our baby, Scooby! She took wonderful care of him and provided updates and pictures! Scooby definitely enjoyed his "vacation" with Jillian and I will DEFINITELY book services with her again! This was the first time he has been away from us overnight and we were a little worried, but the updates she provided, we felt very reassured that he was in the best hands! Thank you Jillian!”

“Leslie took such good care of our pup. He had never been away from home before so this was so out of his comfort zone but she took such good care of him. Would love for her to be one go-to dog sitter.”
