“Emily is an amazing, animal loving person who volunteers her time working with homeless animals at KCK Animal Services. Emily works one on one with the scared babies who have be neglected and abused and she gains their trust and helps them heal. Emily also works on leash manners with the new pups, one being the 100lb mastiff. It’s amazing to watch how with a little training and consistency the pups get better. Emily is great at following directions and also great at being a leader and someone people feel they can go to!”

About: I’ve lived with 3 dogs since I was in high school over 10 years ago and share a dog, Charlie, with my former partner, but he doesn’t live with me. I love animals and pride myself on being reliable for great care for your pet. I work from home currently so will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and host at a restaurant for 4-5 hours at a time a few days per week, but pets are welcome if that’s too long of a gap! I don’t have any pets and live in a very walkable neighborhood with a dog park less than a block from me for dedicated play time and potty breaks.

She is very diligent about following their walking and feeding schedules. She also is great at sending regular updates and cute photos when we are out of town for a few days. About: I have a pet of my own, specifically a cat. I have taken care of many of my families dogs and cats when needed. I play soccer at UMKC and am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I am currently going to school at UMKC and will have lots of time in my morning and throughout the day to come by and check on your loved ones! I am not in season at the moment, so I will be available on weekends. I will be respectful to your home by taking my shoes off and being calm and quiet when entering the home. I will lightly call for your pet while cracking the door open to let them know I am not a threat.

“Amanda has watched my cat (Greg) many times and has done a fantastic job! Greg’s routine consists of waking up at 6:30-7am and going outside to listen to the birds and go to the bathroom, followed by play time and breakfast. He also goes in and out of the house throughout the day. Each time he comes in, Amanda would give him a treat and work on his training (he sits and taps your hand with his paw to ask for a treat). She also went on walks with Greg around the house and gave him lots of pets throughout the day. In the evening, Amanda would give Greg wet food and help him wind down with some string toy exercise. She sent me plenty of photos and videos to update me while I was gone. Wonderful pet caregiver that made the experience stress free for me! 10/10”

About: All my life I have had dogs and cats at home. I’ve always enjoyed not only spending time with my own pets, but also my friends and neighbors pets! I’ve pet sat on many occasions for both dogs and cats (and even a turtle!). I am a pet lover and I am more than happy to take care of any other pets you have besides your doggo. I will gladly scoop some poop and feed all the pets you have! Along with dog walks, I would love to take your dog for a run too (only if they like running of course)! I can’t wait to love on your fur babies and make sure they feel comfortable and loved when you’re away from the home.

“Trent is the best! My golden retriever and I miss him so much since he moved to Portland. Trent is reliable, always on time, and does a fantastic job communicating with me. He always shared videos of my pup when I was away and kept detailed notes around his mood, what he ate, bathroom breaks, etc. so I always knew he was in trusted hands. You should select him to care for your dog- you won’t regret it!”

“My sister Kaylin and I had a dog growing up, a pitbull mix named AJ, and she always took wonderful care of him. Additionally, she dogsits for a lot of friends, and she's never had a bad experience or even any problems. She'd be a wonderful caretaker for anybody's pet.”
