About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I grew up training my German Shepherd from a young age, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand dog behavior, not just watch them. As a student athlete, I’m very active, so I naturally bring a lot of energy to walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I understand that every dog is different, some need structure and training, while others need calm, gentle care, especially seniors. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, handling larger or high-energy breeds, and making sure pets feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and building trust. As a college student athlete, I keep a very structured schedule, which actually makes me reliable and consistent when it comes to pet care. I plan my days around responsibilities, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and given attention on time. I also work part-time at a golf course, but I’m looking to spend more of my free time doing something I enjoy, being around dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it gives me a break from school and sports while still staying active. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening care, I’m used to balancing multiple commitments and staying dependable. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, play, and any training habits they’re used to. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s environment, making sure everything stays clean, safe, and stress-free. I give dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision, and I always keep owners updated so they feel confident their pet is in good hands. I’m especially attentive to energy levels and behavior, whether that means getting a high-energy dog out for a long walk or just spending calm time with a more relaxed or older dog.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: I was lucky enough to grow up in a house full of cats and dogs, there was never a time when we didn't have an animal running around. This made me appreciate and love animals, I will treat your pet like it is my own. I currently work a full time retail job that does not have a regularly set schedule. I am available before and after my shifts for drop in visits as well as open availability on my off days. I will be able to communicate times for visits as my schedule is made two weeks in advance. I am always attentive of the pets needs and will able to closely monitor the pet in the environment provided to me. I will make sure your pet gets the attention that they need.

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). From my time working in professional pet care, I'm very used to all types of situations. I free-feed my own pets, but I have no problem following your feeding/care schedules, or maintaining a medication regimen.

I have house sat and pet sat for friends and co-workers on occasion if they leave to go on vacation. I would help feed, walk, clean up after, and play with dogs and cats. When I get home from work, I will make sure I clean up any messes and do a manual cycle on the Litter Robot. In the evening, I provide my cats with some wet food (primarily pate) as their evening meal. For my cats, I make sure my cats always stay inside to prevent pests and injuries/illnesses. Every morning I make sure my pets have food and water before leaving for work for the day. When I get home from work, I will make sure I clean up any messes and do a manual cycle on the Litter Robot. In the evening, I provide my cats with some wet food (primarily pate) as their evening meal. When sitting in a friend’s house with dogs, I would make sure that their dogs have plenty of water and have eaten that day. I make sure the dogs get to go outside to take care of business, and go for a walk if necessary. I make sure they receive plenty of attention and love while their owner is away.
