About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I grew up training my German Shepherd from a young age, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand dog behavior, not just watch them. As a student athlete, I’m very active, so I naturally bring a lot of energy to walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I understand that every dog is different, some need structure and training, while others need calm, gentle care, especially seniors. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, handling larger or high-energy breeds, and making sure pets feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and building trust. As a college student athlete, I keep a very structured schedule, which actually makes me reliable and consistent when it comes to pet care. I plan my days around responsibilities, so I make sure pets are fed, walked, and given attention on time. I also work part-time at a golf course, but I’m looking to spend more of my free time doing something I enjoy, being around dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it gives me a break from school and sports while still staying active. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon check-ins, or evening care, I’m used to balancing multiple commitments and staying dependable. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, play, and any training habits they’re used to. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of both the space and the pet’s environment, making sure everything stays clean, safe, and stress-free. I give dogs plenty of attention, exercise, and supervision, and I always keep owners updated so they feel confident their pet is in good hands. I’m especially attentive to energy levels and behavior, whether that means getting a high-energy dog out for a long walk or just spending calm time with a more relaxed or older dog.

About: I’ve spent 7+ years caring for pets of all kinds, taking the time to learn each one’s routine, quirks, and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to help with puppies, seniors, and pets who need a little extra care. I work a full-time job from 10–5 on weekdays, so I schedule pet care around my work hours. I’m available early mornings, evenings, and weekends for walks, playtime, or visits. When I’m with pets, I give them my full attention and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well-cared-for, even with my regular work schedule. I provide attentive, patient care whether I’m at your home or mine. In your home, I follow your pet’s routine closely—feeding, playtime, walks, litter box care, and any special instructions—to keep them comfortable and stress-free. If pets are in my home, I make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and part of the family, giving plenty of attention, cuddles, and play. I always prioritize their happiness, health, and comfort.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: I take my dog (Louie) on walks daily, so I would love to add your dog to our routine! I’ve been dog sitting for 20+ years, in addition to my family always having at least one dog. I personally love smaller dogs. I have experience with rat terriers, cavapoo, yorkies and cavalier king charles breeds. I love pets and think they’re so important to a family! Let me help you keep your pet happy and healthy 😁 I live on the Plaza so I’m in a very walkable part of town, near many parks. I walk my dog in the evenings after work - a quick workout for both of us. We love to walk around Kansas City together! When I’m home, Louie is always right by my side - on the couch, in bed or even while I’m cooking. I crate him most nights and while I’m at work. I live in an apartment so walks are very necessary - we go on at least one a day or we run in my apartment’s dog park. Would love to add your dog to the mix!

I'm used to early mornings and home quite often, so I guarantee I can give your best friend the care they deserve on the schedule that works best for them. While I am new to rover, I promise to care for your pet like they're one of my own. I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of flexibility to take care of your best friend! I'm free Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays all day; and Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends in the afternoons I will always treat your home with respect, and head out when the job is done! About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life. My husband and I currently have 3 cats and 2 dogs of our own - all rescues! We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). From my time working in professional pet care, I'm very used to all types of situations. I free-feed my own pets, but I have no problem following your feeding/care schedules, or maintaining a medication regimen.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life and an Australian shepherd since I was 14, I raised and trained him, and have also pet-sat for friends and family on multiple occasions. I promise any pet can be trusted with me. I fit in pet care around my part time job that mostly consists of morning shifts, though I can work around that and move shifts if needed for the right furry friend. I don’t think at the moment I will be sitting any pets in my own home for the comfort of my own pet pal but I will actively play with, watch, snuggle with and care for any pet in anyone’s home, I will always give the upmost care!
