“Christine was incredible! We have used Rover for the last 5 years and Christine was the first person to send updates, photos, and really work with us on drop off and pick up. Our dogs came home so happy and were just so tired after a wonderful 4 days with Christine. You can tell they were loved on and had so much attention. Christine even dropped our dogs off at home because our schedule kept us from getting back into town really early. She was so wonderful and if she has availability the next time we need a Rover, Christine is my first person I will be reaching out to.”

I work from home and now have the flexibility to spend more time doing what I love: keeping good dogs (and cats) company. We regularly walk around Loose Park and the Plaza and would love to include your dog. When visiting your home, I make sure each walk is tailored to your neighborhood and your dog’s routine. I take the time to understand your pet’s routine—feeding, exercise, and any specific preferences—so they feel comfortable and cared for from the start. In your home, I’m respectful and detail-oriented, ensuring doors, gates, and leashes are handled carefully at all times. Walks are attentive and controlled, with a focus on safety, awareness, and your dog’s comfort level. With my background in shelter volunteering, I’m experienced with a range of temperaments and prioritize calm, positive interactions. I also provide regular updates, so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands while you’re away.

About: I've taken care of my own pets (cats and senior dogs) for over a decade as well as lovingly and responsibly provided care for friends and families animals (cats, dogs, chickens...) when need. Experienced cat foster who has cared for sick and very young kittens. I work from home, have a flexible schedule, and my cat is very low maintenance so I have ample time to support others needing some extra hands to support their pet. Pets in my home would be under my supervision at all times and/or leashed for any outdoor excursions. Happy to crate your animals or otherwise accommodate what works best for you and them while in my care.

About: I have been the "go-to" dog sitter for my circle of friends for years, and I’ve realized that the only thing better than having one dog in the house is having two (or three if you have a pair of pups!). I’m opening up my home to Rover guests primarily to provide some social fun for my own dog, Ripley. Ripley is a high-energy ball of joy who loves to play, so if you have a dog that never seems to tire out, they’ll find a kindred spirit here. Whether it's rounds of fetch, wrestling in the yard, or just having a buddy to nap with, your dog will be integrated into our daily routine. What to Expect: • Individualized Attention: Because I only sit 1 family’s dogs at a time, your dogs will get plenty of attention! • Active Days: We specialize in high-energy play. If your dog loves to move, they’ll come home happy and exhausted. • A Present Sitter: I work from home so your dogs will have plenty of face time with me! All dogs with an easy going temperament that are ready to play are welcome. I work from home so your dogs will get plenty of belly rubs and play time. I typically give Ripley a long walk (3 miles) after work that your pup is welcome to join or we can just stick to outdoor play time. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog that would love to play outside with your pup. I will send you daily updates and photos. I am happy to accommodate crate-trained dogs (bring your own crate) or dogs that roam a little bit more free (provided they don’t have destructive tendencies😂). I am a bit of a toasty sleeper so unfortunately no dogs in the bed, but they are welcome to sleep at the foot of my bed or anywhere else in the house!

On the first day that Yogi (my doggo) was there he warmed up immediately - this was so easy for him as he knows & trusts great people. I got several lovely pictures - one of which was Yogi on her couch resting his head on her son’s legs. Yogi doesn’t do this unless he is very chill. You & your doggo will be grateful that you found her!!”

About: I have had dogs almost all my life. From as early as I can remember I have enjoyed the character of dogs and how they interact with the world around them. Curious, loving, direct, playful, and led by natural instincts. I am a certified professional dog groomer that also offers these additional services to include well rounded pet care. I currently do work at home and can be pretty flexible with scheduling. I can take new appointments within a day or two. I prefer three days notice to cancel but handle all situations case by case. When caring for a beloved four-legged fur baby I treat them with the love I show my own pet companion with kindness, love, compassion, and comfort. I typically allow pets on my furniture and interact with them throughout the day. I enjoy walking with and having playtime in the yard or at a nearby dog park. If there is a more structured environment that you prefer with your dog that can almost always be accommodated.
