George also had some unexpected medical issues arise before my trip that required some additional meds and limited activity. Lulu seems to have managed all of that really well. I'm very happy Lulu was able to pet sit for us! I also have a cat, but she hid the whole time (she hides from every human who isn't me 100% of the time), but I came home to a clean litter box, which is great!”

About: I've taken care of my own pets (cats and senior dogs) for over a decade as well as lovingly and responsibly provided care for friends and families animals (cats, dogs, chickens...) when need. Experienced cat foster who has cared for sick and very young kittens. I work from home, have a flexible schedule, and my cat is very low maintenance so I have ample time to support others needing some extra hands to support their pet. Pets in my home would be under my supervision at all times and/or leashed for any outdoor excursions. Happy to crate your animals or otherwise accommodate what works best for you and them while in my care.

About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.

“Kate was amazing!! She checked in often and sent photos of my dogs daily! Dolly is usually timid of people but she was really comfortable with Kate! She stayed at my home and was with them majority of the time! They had constant care and attention. When I returned she started laundry for the bedding and towels, and left everything spotless! It doesn’t even look like she was here which is such a blessing to come back to a clean home! I would recommend to anyone looking for a sitter!”

About: I’ve always had both dogs and cats growing up, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure their pets feel safe and comfortable while they’re away. I’m a college student who works part-time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. During the summer I’m especially available, and I’m free most weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule and provide reliable care whenever you need it. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a yard but it is not fenced, so dogs will always be taken outside on a leash unless you have other instructions. I also have three friendly cats at home. If your pet is more comfortable with space, I’m happy to keep them separated or use a crate if that’s part of their normal routine. I’ll follow your pet’s usual schedule and care instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home.
