About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.

Pamela was very punctual (early actually!), she followed all the feeding rules (one of our dogs has renal dysplasia), took them out for potty, and she sent us adorable photo updates. About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I do have a commitment to sit with a dog and two cats every Wednesday. I feed/walk/play with two dogs every evening and a long walk on Saturday afternoon. I clean a home once a month on my schedule. I am involved in my church (Sunday worship and once a month vestry meetings). If you desire overnight stays or extended visits I’m able to do that as long as leaving for above mentioned obligations works with your pet. My specialty is senior dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I am older fella and wouldn’t want to lose grip walking or caring for large dogs. Feeding/walks/medications not a problem If doing check ins I am punctual and trustworthy in your home.
