About: As a young child I begged my parents to get a dog. I took the “D” encyclopedia into my room every night to study dog breeds. I spent years consuming every dog book I could get my hands on. I even created a dog walking business, made fliers, and handed them out to all of my neighbors. I finally got a puppy in 1st grade. She was my best friend. She went along with all of my crazy antics as I tried to make her a sled dog, a hunting dog, and even an agility dog. I also had fish, lizards, and a rabbit. About: We have been boarding and training since 2013. Starting off at a large kennel, then moving to our own business in-home in 2020. Licensed (city and state kennel licence) and inspected by Department of Agricultural, our vet and Kansas City Animal control. Kevin and Heidi full time dog care and training. Potty breaks every 2-3 hours. We provide socialization with yard time and play with breaks from weather as necessary. All yard times and out times are fully supervised by a behavior specialist. Baths are options as we have an industrial dog bath. Fully fenced yard with double gates. As well as double gates inside the home leading to outside. Separate seven hundred square foot kennel area located in-home. Epoxy floors, painted bright walls, air purification and music during noisy holidays and storms. 24 hour audio/visual monitored by trainers.

About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I do have a commitment to sit with a dog and two cats every Wednesday. I feed/walk/play with two dogs every evening and a long walk on Saturday afternoon. I clean a home once a month on my schedule. I am involved in my church (Sunday worship and once a month vestry meetings). If you desire overnight stays or extended visits I’m able to do that as long as leaving for above mentioned obligations works with your pet. My specialty is senior dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I am older fella and wouldn’t want to lose grip walking or caring for large dogs. Feeding/walks/medications not a problem If doing check ins I am punctual and trustworthy in your home. I have a picky diet so I bring my own food for house sitting.

About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. My home has plenty of space for another cat to hang out. In my home, I try to make the environment as comfortable for other pets as possible and make sure they feel safe and secure as they would in their own home. As for visiting pets at their homes, I enjoy knowing their habits and preferences, so I can cater to their needs as closely to their normal lifestyle as I can. Simply put, I want pets to feel at home and safe regardless of their location, and do my best to love them and their needs whatever they may be.
