About: I’ve grown up having dogs and taking care of them my whole life, became a part time dog sitter out of college and was booked almost every week of 2022 when I was living in St. Louis. Recently moved to Kansas City and would love some more regular clients! In St. Louis, I had a regular that was an elderly dog that required pills twice a day, so I have dealt with older dogs. I also got a puppy with my parents during that time, so I have recent experience with raising a puppy and keep up with her training (she was trained professionally, I just kept it up at home- I am not a professional trainer). Overall, I miss being around dogs and will make sure your pet is well taken care of and loved while you’re away! I work full time with the ability to work from home. I prefer to go into office for at least part of the day, but am flexible based on your pet’s needs. I typically stay overnight with my clients’ pets. I will base a typical day based on your normal schedule- if you work during the day but come home for lunch to walk the dog, I will do that. If you normally work from home with them all day, that can normally be arranged. I want to make sure to keep to your pet’s routine to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

I work four days a week, and then have three day weekends. On the days that I work, I will spend all of the other time with the dogs I'm taking care of, and on days where I don't work, I might be out of the house for short appointments, but most of my time is spent at home. About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I do have a commitment to sit with a dog and two cats every Wednesday. I feed/walk/play with two dogs every evening and a long walk on Saturday afternoon. I clean a home once a month on my schedule. I am involved in my church (Sunday worship and once a month vestry meetings). If you desire overnight stays or extended visits I’m able to do that as long as leaving for above mentioned obligations works with your pet. My specialty is senior dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I am older fella and wouldn’t want to lose grip walking or caring for large dogs. Feeding/walks/medications not a problem If doing check ins I am punctual and trustworthy in your home. I have a picky diet so I bring my own food for house sitting.

I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on.
