About: I treat every pet like they’re my own and really pay attention to what makes them comfortable and happy. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m patient with training routines and extra gentle with older pets who may need a slower pace or medication. I’m also great with communication, so you’ll always get updates and photos while you’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I have a flexible schedule, so I’m able to plan my day around walks, feedings, and check-ins without rushing. I genuinely enjoy getting outside and being active, so walks and playtime are something I look forward to. I’m also consistent with routines, which helps pets feel comfortable and settled while you’re away. I try to keep things as close to your pet’s normal routine as possible so they feel comfortable and stress-free. In your home, I follow your instructions closely with feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while also keeping the space clean and respectful. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I make sure they have a safe, cozy environment, plenty of attention, and lots of exercise and play! I always adjust based on each pet’s personality and needs.

About: I've been the go-to dog sitter among neighbors and coworkers because I love a long walk! Although I've had my own pets and use to volunteer at shelters over summers, petsitting works better for my travel schedule these days. I work a hybrid schedule and have the flexiblity to board or drop by 2x-3x a day. I work a hybrid work schedule that allows me the flexibility to work from home to keep your pet company, go for walks/have playtime and give plenty of attention. I have a fenced in yard and no pets of my own currently. I love all animals and can accomidate whatever needs your pet may have!
“Kimball is wonderful! She happily met our pup beforehand and was very professional and attentive to her needs. She did a great job of walking her and loving on her, making sure she got a good walk in while we are at work.”

“Amber has been the best! Used her on a weekly-basis for walks.. reliable, flexible with my changing schedule and took great care of my dog who is pretty selective with who he trusts!”

About: I have had 10 years of experience in the animal husbandry and veterinary field. Currently focusing on my last few classes before Grad. School and wanting to work one- on-one with animals. I am currently a full time student and using rover for part time work. Prior scheduled house sitting is preferred to be able to accommodate my school schedule; usually use the afternoon to run/fitness activities and homework. I frequently care for my family and friends pets in their home, for their comfort. As a prior ICU nursing asst., I believe in the mental and emotional welfare of animal home and their comfort/routine means alot to me.
“Chris was awesome for the week he came over and walked my large dog. I totally trusted him taking good care of her. I will definitely be booking with him again and would recommend to anyone else.”

“Caitlin is so loving towards Alessia which makes me very happy. She is excellent at communicating about scheduling and gives updates on her arrival and sends pictures of their walks. Couldn’t not recommend higher!”

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since we got our family dog when I was 9. I’m used to large breeds that tend to be aggressive as that is what I was raised with. I also have experience house sitting for other pets and catering to special needs of pets. I’ve pet sat for friends and neighbors for the past 11 years and understand how special a person is to a family so I always do my best to take care of them. I work full time overnight shifts from 11pm to 7am on the typical shift. It’s the perfect schedule because I’m at work while my pets are sleeping and I can be home with them while they’re awake and want to walk or play. Caring for animals has always come second nature to me as someone who was raised in a house full of different types of animals so I always listen to what my pets need through their body language and how they act or react to their environment.

About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.

West Plaza dog parents share their Rover experiences
Really appreciated how Jennifer wanted to get to know our doggie better before she is boarding him in March. She genuinely was interested in what was best for him and putting him at ease. You could tell how comfortable she was with any situation and we can't wait for Zachy to spend some time with her!

Erin was exceptional. When her work schedule changed, she immediately fixed the issue by connecting us to another Rover she knew to make sure her shift was covered. She shared notes and visuals with us and any concerns she had. Great communication!! Thank you Erin!!!

After Melissa watch Nelson earlier this summer, I knew it would be a great fit for her to come by on a day where we were gonna be out of the house for over 12 hours. It’s such a relief to know that Nelson is happy with Melissa and that she wouldn’t be alone for the whole time! P.S she always takes the best pictures!!
