About: I am a huge animal person and love to take care and play with your pets of any kind! I have been cat sitting and dog walking for years for family and neighbors, and have always been there for even a short pop-in visit. Working in my local animal shelter I specialized in both feline and canine care, and know everything about keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have two cats of my own that I treat like my babies and grew up with dogs all my life, and I hope I can treat your pets as good as my own! I am currently working part time with a varying schedule, but will typically have the same days off every week which will allow me to have a more consistent schedule when caring for your pet. I will always approach a new dog or cat with caution and assess their behavior before jumping right in, not only for my well-being but also theirs to avoid any extra stress.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

I personally love smaller dogs. I have experience with rat terriers, cavapoo, yorkies and cavalier king charles breeds. I love pets and think they’re so important to a family! Let me help you keep your pet happy and healthy 😁 I live on the Plaza so I’m in a very walkable part of town, near many parks. I walk my dog in the evenings after work - a quick workout for both of us. We love to walk around Kansas City together! When I’m home, Louie is always right by my side - on the couch, in bed or even while I’m cooking. I crate him most nights and while I’m at work. I live in an apartment so walks are very necessary - we go on at least one a day or we run in my apartment’s dog park. Would love to add your dog to the mix!

About: Caring for animals is one of my greatest joys. I've cared for everything from energetic vizslas and sheepdogs to strong willed Akitas, so I am comfortable with all kinds of personalities and temperaments. Whether its long walks, playtime, cuddles or sticking to your pet's routine, I'll care for them with the same love and attention I would my own. You can count on me to be dependable, communicative and to send photos and updates, so you will know your pet is happy and safe while you're away. I recently retired from my full time job and have plenty of time to devote to dog walks and pet visits. My schedule is flexible and we should be able to work something out. I would follow the pets routine as instructed by the owner and be sure to keep it as stress free for the pet as possible. I make sure the pet receives plenty of attention and affection.

About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.
