About: I've been relied upon by neighbors for years to dog-sit, dog-walk, and pet-sit for cats as well. I'm a big lover of all animals and grew up with dogs, cats, and even chickens! I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! I’m a huge fan of walking and this fits into my daily and weekly routine. I also love the social aspect of meeting new people and pets are ALWAYS the best way to meet new people! I can easily drive to your home to walk your dog in the your neighborhood. I’m gentle, friendly and love a big scratch on an animals bottom(if they are welcome to it of course!)

“Anna walked our older pug while we were in Europe for two weeks (he was staying with my mom, but needed more consistent activity than my mom was able to provide with her schedule). Anna was very communicative and provided pictures and updates for each walk. Would definitely recommend Anna!”

“Great Rover, was able to walk my dog on short notice and did a great job taking care of his extra needs”

“Willow was great with my dog and cat! She left me pictures and updates on every walk. I will definitely be booking with her again if needed. Thank you! ☺️”

About: I am a third year veterinary student in KC for the summer at an internship! I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant for 6 years now and have gained experience in handling and working with all breeds and sizes of dogs, as well as cats. I have also been petsitting for family friends for 5 years and have plenty of experience making pets feels comfortable while their owner is away. I am comfortable handling any dog or cat, with anything from giving medications to your senior pup to walks and exercise for the more energetic ones! I’m currently working full-time during the week with some evening hours available. I am also typically available all day during the weekend and on most holidays. As I am currently renting, I am not able to care for pets in my own home. However, I am more than willing to travel and take care of your fur-baby in the comfort of their own home! I have been trained on how to handle all types of animals with care and respect towards them, and would feel comfortable assisting with any training you are working with them on. Most of all, I absolutely love to hang out with any animal and would be honored to care for your fur baby!

About: Hi! My name is Lyric, and I’m super eager to start caring for your pets. I have years of experience, from working as a dog walker and sitter, for a company in my home town in Overland Park! I also have my own person experience having grown up with two German Shepherds and a senior teacup Yorkie! My job introduced me to so many different breads and personalities, giving me the knowledge to be able to customize my care around each dog based on their on their specific needs and what’s most beneficial and enjoyable for them! I’m super comfortable with all kinds of dogs—from big and energetic to small and cuddly. I personally trained all three of my dogs to shake and roll over, and I also helped care for my Yorkie during his senior years before he passed. My main goal is to make sure each dog feels loved and appreciated! Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just some company while you’re away, I bring patience, love, and genuine care to every visit. I’ll treat your dog like they’re part of my family. I’m currently in nursing school and looking for a flexible job that fits around my classes and study time. Pet care is the perfect fit—not only does it work with my schedule, but spending time with dogs brings me a calming sense of comfort that helps balance the stress of school. I’ve always found that being around animals is healing, and I love how caring for them benefits both of us. Plus, I enjoy staying active, so daily walks and playtime are a bonus I genuinely look forward to. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I always aim to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow any routines or instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, preferred walking routes, or special care needs. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks, and I keep things clean and calm. I’m respectful of each home I visit and treat it with care, just like I do with your pets.

About: I have been passionate about animals my entire life, starting with pet sitting at the age of 10. Over the years, I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals, including horses, cows, dogs, and cats. This hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of animal needs and behavior. Additionally, I graduated with a degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University in May of 2023, further enhancing my knowledge and expertise in animal care. Whether it's a small pet or a larger animal, I bring both professional training and a lifelong love of animals to every pet sitting opportunity. I currently work full-time in a hybrid setting, with my office days Tuesday through Thursday. This allows me to be home and available to care for your pets from Friday to Monday, where I work remotely from my laptop. With plenty of free time over the weekend, I’m able to give your furry friends all the attention, playtime, and love they deserve! I have a spacious, fenced-in backyard where your pets can enjoy plenty of outdoor fun and playtime in a secure environment. I also have two friendly dogs of my own, who are great at keeping other pets company and making them feel right at home. Additionally, I understand that some pets prefer to stay in their own environment, so I’m flexible and more than happy to provide pet sitting services at your home if that’s what’s best for your furry companions.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. Had my first puppy when I was 3 years old and have had one ever since. I have taken a small amount of courses on training puppies as well. Great with training them on the leash! I grew up with dogs my whole life. I work from home a lot so I can be available most days if needed. I travel a lot so I understand you want to leave your pup with someone you trust. That’s why I signed up! I live in a two bedroom apartment with no roommates. It’s in a great neighborhood with a lot of parks and dog parks. I have one dog, Mabel. She is just under 2yrs old and LOVES to play with other dogs. Let me know any special needs or energy levels of your pup!

“Tori was absolutely amazing! Really took the time to understand my girl's needs before and during the visit! Even was able to make it a little earlier since I got called into work early. I would highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and miss playing and taking care of them. While this is a side gig for me, I love getting active alongside dogs and will love them as my own. I'm off on Saturdays and can help out when you just want a date night! For house sitting I stay pretty busy with work, but they are average 8hr days where I can make sure your dogs are walked before work and plenty of playtime can come after work! For my own cats I make sure to read their body language before I pet them and ensure they have safe spaces where they can avoid us and each other if they want. I deep clean their litter boxes monthly and clean their litter ever day or every other day. I'm great at reading animals and whether they're stressed, excited, or just curious!

“Vanessa is super helpful and we appreciate her flexibility!”

“Stacey was very punctual and we really appreciate that since our dogs expect to get their meals on time. He was very sweet and careful with both girls and they trusted him He learned feeding and walking procedures so we can rebook him in the future”

“I’ve known Kylee for a few years now, and can honestly say she’s one of the few people I would trust with my pets. She has a genuine love for all animals, and is very level headed and good at keeping the peace. I’ve spent a lot of time with her, watching her dote over her own pets and friends pets alike - she has a great talent at reading behavior and keeping dogs entertained, safe, and happy. Even my very picky/elusive cat, Frank, loves her.”

South Hyde Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ron was amazing! Not only did he always arrive when he said he would to walk Ziggy, he helped with 2 other animals at our house also. I would highly recommend Ron!

Great Rover, was able to walk my dog on short notice and did a great job taking care of his extra needs

Arrica is amazing! Hands down one of the best walkers we’ve had. She’s professional, flexible, highly responsive, thorough and patient! She does great with my dog Mello, who warmed up to her quickly. He loves seeing her come through the door and we could not ask for better!

Taylor is my go to for pet sitting when I’m away! She takes such good care of my boy and he loves hanging out with her. 5 stars, would recommend. We’ll see her next time!

Samantha was amazing, as always! She takes great photos that always make us laugh, and I can tell our dogs our comfortable with her. She provides wonderful and expert care to our dog who has special needs due to cancer.

Megan was great with Charlie! She obviously loves dogs and was so sweet with him. Took a photo of him on the walk and I was able to see their route. My dog was happy to go with her on the walk and was sad to see her go. I highly recommend Megan and will reach out to her any time I am not able to walk my dog.

Noelle is great! She was flexible with out needs, reliable and our golden loved her! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We've had Lindsey take care of our pup several times of the past 2 years - and as always, she's taken great care of him.

Stephanie is GREAT! She is dependable, respects my requests for my pup, and got him some great exercise. He loves her already!

Patricia did a wonderful job walking our pup! She was very communicative and I loved the updates she gave us! She went above and beyond. I highly recommend!

Clove is so amazing with our dog. Clove is responsible, timely, and most importantly very in tune with the animal. Such an excellent caretaker with lots of experience.

Chandler does a great job with my old pup. She helps give his meds in the afternoon and lets him lead the way on how far or how long he is interested in walking. We are grateful for Chandler.

Pogo loves his walks with Cameron! He has a lot of quirks and she’s so understanding of them. Happy to have found her!

My dogs loved having Erin walk them around the neighborhood while we were out of town! Such a nice treat for them!

Lizzy has been a wonderful helper for our dog family. She has been so kind and patient teaching working with our new puppy. Gives us very thoughtful updates, which we love! Couldn’t recommend her more!

Allison always does a fantastic job with our dogs. She takes time to give them special care and attention. She is great at communication. We will continue to be repeat customers whenever the need arises!

We have used Josh for pet sitting several times, and he is the BEST! He stays with our two dogs at our house while we are out of town for week-long trips. One of my dogs is my semi-retired diabetes alert service dog and now has special health needs. While I want the best for both of my dogs, Josh is the only person I trust to take care of my service dog while I am away. Josh always meets with me before a booking to get the details of my service dog's latest treatment plan. He goes above and beyond to make sure all medications are administered and a special feeding protocol is followed to assure my dog's health and safety. Josh goes above and beyond to make sure both of my pups get plenty of breaks outside, fresh water all day, and tons of snuggles and attention. He sends photos throughout our trips, which really puts my mind at ease when I see them so relaxed and content. Both of my dogs get so excited when they see Josh, I have zero concerns about leaving them with him. I'm pretty sure they don't miss me a bit when they are with Josh.

Hassan (Morty) did a great job of taking care of my Daisy. She has a tricky harness and he was very hands on to learn about it. My pup was a happy girl and I had peace of mind knowing she was taken care of while I was away. I will continue to use Hassan for Daisy’s walks 😊
