About: Pets have always been a top priority in my life, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust. I have hands-on experience caring for epileptic dogs, anxious rescues, administering oral medications, and reinforcing simple training commands. I’m also a quick learner and happy to accommodate pets with unique or special needs. You can relax knowing your pet will receive attentive care, plenty of comfort, and all the belly rubs and butt scratches they deserve. As a nurse my schedule changes every week and I’ll update my calendar frequently. I am more than happy to care for your fur baby on my days in between. My home is very pet-friendly and designed to help animals feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a large, fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, and pets are welcome on the couch for plenty of snuggles. Inside, there’s a spacious, heated basement with cement flooring where dogs can run around and burn off energy. If your pet prefers their own quiet space, I also have a spare room available so they can have a room of their own. I’m happy to tailor their environment to whatever makes them feel most at ease.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets as well as pet sitting for friends and family for more than 20 years. I have two dogs and two cats. One of my dogs is disabled and requires a lot of care. I’m well trained to take care of any of your pets who require special care. I spent three years as a pet store manager and I can care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, dogs, and cats. I’m a high school teacher and so I’m up by 5am and off work by 3pm. I can come before school, as well as any time after 4:00. I can easily care for your pet in your home. Keeping them in a familiar place and on their normal routine. This allows their familiar sights and sound while you are away.

About: Hi! My name is Joelle & I am an avid dog lover with experience with many different dogs & pets! As a volunteer at KC Pet Project, I spend two days a week caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes & temperaments. I am a dog-walker & also take a dog out once a week with their dog day out program, oftentimes with dogs on their at-risk list. I have been a volunteer since July 2025 & have learned so much since joining! Aside from my hands on experience as a dog-walker to rescue dogs, I also have my own rescue dog, Shelton. Shelton is a big boy weighing in at 75lbs & we go on at least one walk (typically 2) a day! I am a homemaker looking to make some extra income, so my schedule is very flexible! Late mornings, afternoon or early evenings are almost always available. I have a fenced in yard at home! My dog is somewhat dog-selective, as I’ve noticed he gets along great with small male dogs and female dogs of any size. Large male dogs typically aren’t a great match. He loves to wrestle-play, and we do have a crate for him as needed.
