Safety, trust & environment

Located on the border of Raytown and Lee’s Summit, our home offers a safe and pet-friendly environment. We have a fenced 0.5-acre backyard with plenty of space for exercise and training. During drop-ins and walks, I prioritize calm, confident handling and always tailor my approach to each dog’s comfort level. I’ve invested years into understanding dog body language and effective training methods, which helps me support dogs of all personalities, especially those needing better leash manners, confidence, or structured enrichment. Whether I’m walking your dog, stopping in for care, or providing a training session, your pet will receive personalized attention, safety, and compassion every time.

Information Olga I. would like to know about your pet

It’s important for me to understand your pet’s needs before we start. Please share their age, energy level, behavior traits, allergies, medical needs, and any training goals you have. I also want to know how they respond to other dogs, people, and distractions, as well as any routines or cues you already use. This helps me tailor walks, drop-ins, and training sessions specifically to your dog and keep them safe, comfortable, and happy.

A typical day

I love keeping dogs active and engaged, so a typical day includes structured walks, enrichment games, and fun training moments. I enjoy playing fetch, disc games, and light agility, as well as practicing simple tricks or obedience skills. Walks may include neighborhood routes, trails, or dog-friendly parks—depending on what your dog enjoys most. My goal is to create a balanced mix of exercise, mental stimulation, and bonding.

Professional Dog Trainer

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Olga! Dogs stay in private rooms-not crates -for a calm, home-style boarding experience. I'm insured! I share my home with my Border Collie, Elsa, who trains in herding, frisbee and agility and helps me stay active and consistent in my training work. Although I have experience with high-energy breeds, I truly welcome dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities -from playful puppies to gentle seniors. Every dog is treated as part of the household while maintaining clear routines, supervision, and individualized care. I keep boarding small and intentional to ensure safety, low stress, and plenty of attention. Dogs enjoy regular potty breaks, enriched walks, structured play, and rest time. If needed, I can also reinforce training skills such as leash manners, confidence building, and basic obedience during their stay. My goal is simple: to create a safe, peaceful place where your dog feels comfortable, understood, and genuinely cared for -just like one of my own.

We were super happy with the level of care and communication from Olga while we left our dog with her over the weekend! She provided regular updates with pictures and even gave us a little goodie bag with treats and a new ball when we picked him up. Thanks Olga!

Olga was great with my Mother's dog's who do not board very often. She was patient with them and would recommend her services.

I had to leave on a two-week trip and needed someone to leave my cat Flowerpot with. I was very worried about how he would do, especially as he is indoor/outdoor but would have to be completely indoor while I was away. Also, because he has a history of having been abandoned I was concerned that he wouldn't do well with this kind of change. Olga was very reassuring from the beginning. She said she'd be careful that he didn't get out, and that she'd monitor interactions between the cat and her baby and her dog (Flowerpot had never had interactions with babies or dogs). Turns out he likes babies. At least he likes this baby (plus, I think Olga did a great job introducing them -- she sent me a video of the baby feeding the cat a treat). Another thing that Olga did which I really appreciated was to send me pictures of her house, along with the room Flowerpot would be staying in. She did that before I confirmed the booking. When we did the meet and greet, I felt really comfortable -- she just got down on the floor with the cat, which showed she was interested in getting to know him. I just got Flowerpot back today. He's happy to be home, but he doesn't seem at all stressed out by having been away, which proves Olga took good care of him. She sent pictures while I was away and a few videos -- those were very nice to receive. I'd recommend Olga to anybody who needs a temporary home for a cat (or a dog).

Olga was so great with our dogs! She was very accommodating, communicated well, and made me feel comfortable leaving my dogs with her. I would definitely recommend and book with her again in the future!
