She’s also a dog trainer and gives helpful tips about leash walking and Thea’s anxiety. We’re still working with her and will definitely continue booking her for walks and training.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets as well as pet sitting for friends and family for more than 20 years. I have two dogs and two cats. One of my dogs is disabled and requires a lot of care. I’m well trained to take care of any of your pets who require special care. I spent three years as a pet store manager and I can care for birds, reptiles, small animals, fish, dogs, and cats. I’m a high school teacher and so I’m up by 5am and off work by 3pm. I can come before school, as well as any time after 4:00. I can easily care for your pet in your home. Keeping them in a familiar place and on their normal routine. This allows their familiar sights and sound while you are away.

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I have a lot of experience with dogs and taking care of them. Friends always rely on me for dog sitting. I love to take dogs on walks, take them to the dog park, cuddle, and make dog owners feel comfortable leaving their pet with me. I’m currently working part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I have the ability to come and let the dogs out to go potty many times throughout the day if I’m not home with them. But most of the time I would be there with them. I have a huge .5 acre fenced back yard to keep your dogs in. And two extremely friendly large dogs that always want to play. I would love to take picture of your pups and send them to you so that you know that they are happy and safe. I can crate them if you’re more comfortable with that. About: If you want to drop off your pet for day care and or over night stay, no problem. If you have an emergency and need someone on the spot just give me a call or text and I will see what I can do. If your pet is with me for day care I ask that you provide a leash, food & anything you feel your pet needs for the day. Poop bags are available at my house. If your pet is at my home for an overnight stay I ask that you provide food/water bowl, food, bed, cage if needed & anything else you feel your pet needs for the night. About: Hi! My name is Joelle & I am an avid dog lover with experience with many different dogs & pets! As a volunteer at KC Pet Project, I spend two days a week caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes & temperaments. I am a dog-walker & also take a dog out once a week with their dog day out program, oftentimes with dogs on their at-risk list. I have been a volunteer since July 2025 & have learned so much since joining! Aside from my hands on experience as a dog-walker to rescue dogs, I also have my own rescue dog, Shelton. Shelton is a big boy weighing in at 75lbs & we go on at least one walk (typically 2) a day! I am a homemaker looking to make some extra income, so my schedule is very flexible! Late mornings, afternoon or early evenings are almost always available. I have a fenced in yard at home! My dog is somewhat dog-selective, as I’ve noticed he gets along great with small male dogs and female dogs of any size. Large male dogs typically aren’t a great match. He loves to wrestle-play, and we do have a crate for him as needed.

About: Growing up, I was fortunate to have a terrier from the time she was a puppy until her death an amazing 18 years later. She was my backyard companion. Later during my marriage, we adopted a Border Collie mix. She was such a sweetie. I loved taking her for a walk right after I got home from work. We had her for 16 wonderful years. At the same time, we had 2 cats. The male contracted FIV, so I worked with the vet and arranged weekly then monthly immunity shots. We had him for a number of extended years because of the shots. The other cat was my sister's who reached a point where she could not take care of it. I adopted it and she became my buddy for many years afterward. I am retired and have time to do something as much for me as it is for you. I can easily rearrange my day to accommodate your schedule. Our cats get plenty of attention. They are housebound, but we let them out occasionally on an elevated deck that does not have stairs, so they are contained there. We have a cat tree in the breakfast room that faces outdoors to two bird feeders. There is plenty of activity, plus a feeder that attaches to the window that gets frequent birds.
