We usually board our two med/large dogs, but one got a mild respiratory infection right before a big trip and we needed someone responsible and caring to come in and walk, feed, love on them and give meds while we were gone for a week. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including 2 senior dogs and 2 puppies. I currently have 2 dogs of my own—a Pit Bull and a Lab—as well as a cat. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. 🐾 I have 2 dogs and a cat that I care for daily. You let me know what needs to be done and I can do it. I can keep pets separated or I can crate an animal, if preferred. I will care for the animal however you are most comfortable with.

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

About: Family pets have been part of most of my life. With no pets of my own now, I would like to enjoy and help other pet owners. I also enjoy walking. I am a retired RN who is looking for part time activities and income. I have elderly parents and grandchildren whom I help with but extra time for pet activities. Our yard is not fenced but larger sized and the neighborhood is mostly 5-20 acre homes. Our street is not a busy one, so walks are easy to do. I can also get to the Lees Summit doggy park in about 15 minutes.

I would treat your pet as if they were my own with lots of love and care. I’m good at picking up the phone and can give updates as much as you need. Being a pet parent, I too love to see pictures and text letting me know that my dog is okay while I’m away. About: I have taken care of dogs for my entire life, we always had at least one in our care as I was growing up. When I was 13 I got my first puppy, I potty trained him, leash trained him and trained him on the basics with a few tricks. When I turned 19 I became an Animal Caretaker for a dog daycare and boarding facility and loved it! I cared for up to 20 dogs at a time, observing dog behavior for any signs of aggression, anxiety distress or medical needs. I provided personalized care for dogs who needed it including giving shots, giving pills, staying up to date on their dietary guidelines and any restrictions they required, as well as any behavioral issues to look out for. I also maintained a clean environment for the safety of the dogs and staff. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I do know approved methods of correction and redirection for dogs. I will not correct your dog's behavior unless specifically asked, and we can talk about what is best for you and your pet! I have worked with dogs of all ages from a few months old to senior dogs as well as dogs of all sizes from teacup chihuahuas to great danes! I know leaving your pet in someone else's care is scary, which is why I emphasize that your and your furball's wellbeing are my number one priority! My schedule is currently unpredictable so this will be updated weekly. Mondays- Full availability Tuesdays- Before 3:30pm and after 9pm Wednesdays- After 3:00 Thursday- Full availability Friday- Before 3:00 Saturday- Full availability Sunday- Before 10am and After 8pm Currently I live in an apartment with my two cats, they are groomed daily, the litter boxes are always clean, water fountains are always running and of course they have a clean open environment for their zoomie sessions! About: I have had cats and dogs pretty much all of my life whenever my family is gone. I am the one who babysits and walks them. I can even put diapers on a dog that is going through heat if need be lol! I am working part time, but for the most part I am very flexible and will be ready if you need to reach out to me for any pet sitting or dog walking. For the pets in my home, I usually always take her on walks morning, noon and night to make sure all of their potty requirements are good making sure they have food and water through all hours of the day.
