About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

About: I've been surrounded by pets my whole life! Since I was old enough, I've worked to train my two pups at home; I was even training one to be my service dog until covid hit. I'm willing to do it all from walking to training to even just belly rubs! I am employed full time though love to look for opportunities to support the community. I'm very flexible and more than willing to work with your family as well! Walks around campus would be the best! There are plenty of grass patches and protected crosswalks. As for clients' homes, I will only do what you tell me to; please let me know any important details about you or your pet!

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I have a lot of experience with dogs and taking care of them. Friends always rely on me for dog sitting. I love to take dogs on walks, take them to the dog park, cuddle, and make dog owners feel comfortable leaving their pet with me. I’m currently working part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I have the ability to come and let the dogs out to go potty many times throughout the day if I’m not home with them. But most of the time I would be there with them. I have a huge .5 acre fenced back yard to keep your dogs in. And two extremely friendly large dogs that always want to play. I would love to take picture of your pups and send them to you so that you know that they are happy and safe. I can crate them if you’re more comfortable with that. Whatever you would like, I can be accommodating

About: Growing up, I was fortunate to have a terrier from the time she was a puppy until her death an amazing 18 years later. She was my backyard companion. Later during my marriage, we adopted a Border Collie mix. She was such a sweetie. I loved taking her for a walk right after I got home from work. We had her for 16 wonderful years. At the same time, we had 2 cats. The male contracted FIV, so I worked with the vet and arranged weekly then monthly immunity shots. We had him for a number of extended years because of the shots. The other cat was my sister's who reached a point where she could not take care of it. I adopted it and she became my buddy for many years afterward. I am retired and have time to do something as much for me as it is for you. I can easily rearrange my day to accommodate your schedule. Our cats get plenty of attention. They are housebound, but we let them out occasionally on an elevated deck that does not have stairs, so they are contained there. We have a cat tree in the breakfast room that faces outdoors to two bird feeders. There is plenty of activity, plus a feeder that attaches to the window that gets frequent birds.

About: I am a 28 year old who loves pets! I understand how hard it can be to find a reliable, trustworthy sitter or walker. I am happy to help in anyway I can. I have 2 dogs myself and love them!. I have many years experience helping friends with their pets. I have experience with puppies as well as younger and older dogs. I also have experience with administering medication if need be. I understand that no pet is the same and that each dog has their own needs, therefore they must not be treated like they are. I work monday-friday so my availability would only be on weekends. Pet care is in my daily routine seeing that i have 2 dogs myself. I only do walks but i do make sure that the pet is not put in a stressful/ dangerous situation. I will take of the dog as if its my own
