“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! About: I've taken care of cats & dogs for as long as I can remember. I have experience with puppies, senior doggos, kittens, and difficult cats. I am typically off around 4pm Monday - Thursday, & noon on Fridays. My work schedule is pretty flexible and adjustments can be made. Weekends that I am in town are open availability other than Church on Sunday mornings! My cat is not a fan of other pets so all services would be provided outside of my home. About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.

About: I've been training and taking care of dogs for 33 years. I had a couple childhood pets then when I was 18 I adopted and trained a dog that stayed with my family for 15 years. I also had a Labrador who made it to 13 and my current old man puppy is 13. I've been with my husband for 20 years. We LOVE dogs of all ages and sizes. I'm a stay at home mom to my geriatric dog. We get up around 6am, go outside for a bit, come in and get breakfast, then lounge while I clean. Lunchtime we go out again, have healthy snacks like carrots, then play in the fenced in yard or the living room depending on weather and temperature. Late afternoon and evening we wind down and get ready for dinner. I have a fenced in yard, a friendly old dog, tiled floors, comfortable furniture that they're allowed on, and air vents that come from the floors (dogs love to lay on them). I have a loving a cuddly home and treat all my fur guests as family. As someone with a senior dog, I am very patient and know how to accommate the additional needs some pets may have. With my flexible work from home schedule, I am able to be home during the week, to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, cuddle, and to play. I am also available on weekends. With the exclusion of running errands, while your dog is with me, they will never be left alone for more than a few hours extended amount of time. I have a fenced in back yard for your dog to run free in. I also have a senior chihuahua who is very chill and unbothered, so as long as your dog likes other dogs, they will get along just fine. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.
About: I walked a dog 30 mins every week day along with in home care for 2 years. as well as four hour care on weekends when needed. I have cared for eight dogs in my neighborhood as needed, walking, house sitting and overall care. All of these owners feel l am a responsible caretaker of their pet. About: I have flexibility in scheduling to assist the more vulnerable animals in not having to leave their home. I have a senior dog myself who is 16 and I've learned different environmental modifiers to ease him into his senior years. I have a fenced yard to assist with the high energy puppers and I am organized to routines to help keep them as happy and relaxed as possible while their owners are away. About: My husband and I have been around animals all of our life. We have pet sit for our family and friends for many years and we love doing it so much that we have decided to extend our services to others. As a parent of two furbabies we know how scary and important it is to leave your loved one with a stranger. With us your baby will not be a stranger for long, we will welcome them with open arms and care. We have 25 plus years experience working with all age ranges of cats and dogs. Between my husband and I we are able to arrange our schedules so that your furbaby will never be alone at anytime in our house and will have lots of loving and fun interaction. For Drop-Ins during the week we are able to drop in anytime after 4:00 P.M. Monday-Friday but on the Weekends we will have more availability to drop in at any time of the day. We have a one story ranch home that is animal friendly. We have large chain linked fenced in yard in a quaint neighborhood. We have a 3 year old female Great Dane who is a big baby and loves to play with other dogs and gets along with cats. We have a cat who is a lover. If we need to go to a persons home we will be very respectful of their home and wishes.

I am currently living in Kansas City and my beloved kitty Nala who joined me up here passed in October. So I currently do not have any pets at home and would love some company boarding animals! I love watching both cats and dogs 🥰 I work from home and have very flexible work hours, so I have plenty of time for boarding and walking! I live in a house with a yard and have plenty of space for your pets to roam indoors! I have a medium sized yard for dogs and a house all to myself most of the time for animals to have their space! I love boarding overnight because of animal cuddles. I don't have a fence, but if your dog has a harness it won't be a problem at all!
