About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I also work part-time at a golf course, but I’m looking to spend more of my free time doing something I enjoy, being around dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it gives me a break from school and sports while still staying active. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by sticking as closely as possible to their normal routine, feeding times, walks, play, and any training habits they’re used to. We tend to gravitate towards the more challenging types, (older, behaviorally "challenged", or generally the "once you get to know them, they're really sweet" type). I've managed two different Doggy Day Care facilities: one here in KC, and another in White Plains, NY. I've also got years of experience working with dog rescue groups here in KC. Because of all this experience, there's no pet I can't handle. I'm comfortable with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and attitudes! My current full time job is 100% remote, so I'm very flexible when it comes to your pet care needs, (pop-ins or longer stays. As long as you have wifi, I'm good). I have house sat and pet sat for friends and co-workers on occasion if they leave to go on vacation. I would help feed, walk, clean up after, and play with dogs and cats. When I get home from work, I will make sure I clean up any messes and do a manual cycle on the Litter Robot. In the evening, I provide my cats with some wet food (primarily pate) as their evening meal. For my cats, I make sure my cats always stay inside to prevent pests and injuries/illnesses. Every morning I make sure my pets have food and water before leaving for work for the day. When I get home from work, I will make sure I clean up any messes and do a manual cycle on the Litter Robot. In the evening, I provide my cats with some wet food (primarily pate) as their evening meal. When sitting in a friend’s house with dogs, I would make sure that their dogs have plenty of water and have eaten that day. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on.
