About: I have a pet of my own, specifically a cat. I have taken care of many of my families dogs and cats when needed. I play soccer at UMKC and am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I am currently going to school at UMKC and will have lots of time in my morning and throughout the day to come by and check on your loved ones! I am not in season at the moment, so I will be available on weekends. I will be respectful to your home by taking my shoes off and being calm and quiet when entering the home. I will lightly call for your pet while cracking the door open to let them know I am not a threat.

10. Amanda F.
“I had an older Great Pyrenees that needed a lot of care, and I used to work nights. Amanda would go above and behind and tend to my dog on the days that I couldn’t. This ranged from walking my dog, feeding him, and occasionally grooming him.”
11. Rachel B.
About: All my life I have had dogs and cats at home. I’ve always enjoyed not only spending time with my own pets, but also my friends and neighbors pets! I’ve pet sat on many occasions for both dogs and cats (and even a turtle!). I am a pet lover and I am more than happy to take care of any other pets you have besides your doggo. I will gladly scoop some poop and feed all the pets you have! Along with dog walks, I would love to take your dog for a run too (only if they like running of course)! I can’t wait to love on your fur babies and make sure they feel comfortable and loved when you’re away from the home.
12. Carson L.
“Carson was the best! I had a wonderful expireince with Carson. I was nervous leaving my cat for the first time but Carson went above and beyond to ensure my cat (and me) felt comfortable and loved in my absence. With regular updates and photos, Carson truly treated my cat as their own. I returned home to a happy and content cat, which speaks volumes about the quality of care provided. I couldn’t be more grateful and will definitely be entrusting Carson with my cat’s care in the future. Highly recommended!”

About: Dog-lover remote worker with a big (soon to be fenced) yard and front porch where dogs love to doze and keep watch over the neighborhood. I don't have any dogs of my own, but I love watching yours. I'm responsible, personable, and keep a clean, safe home. I’ve watched dogs for 10 years now. I’ve seen it all, but have found this an enjoyable and rewarding gig. [Interested in house-sitting services? Message me for discount information.] I have learned a lot about how to communicate with and listen to dogs, and be attentive to their needs. I try to make them feel at home and heard in addition to providing for their basic needs, and I also keep a lot of treats and toys around the house to keep them engaged while inside. Their favorite spot is outside, though, and I have a lot of options they love. There is a front porch, back porch, and large side yard for them to lounge in. I keep a long yard spike leash out there so I can keep them within reach and they can enjoy being outside. I live on a street with a lot of trees, birds, and sunshine, and they enjoy just taking it all in. It's fun for me too. Now, I love watching dogs, but boarding dogs with anxiety and behavioral issues who can’t take commands requires all my attention and isn’t worth it. If your dog has behavioral issues you aren’t addressing, I’d suggest another host. If you are interested in training services, please let me know. My yard doesn't have a fence, but I do have a yard spike with a long leash that dogs don't mind if it lets them explore freely. I also have a front porch and back porch that dogs love to sun on and listen to the birds. I like taking dogs for walks to Westwood Park and, if they're up for it, along with me on runs. NOTE: I’m flexible with dropoff and pickup times. I typically only watch one or two dogs at a time, and almost never mix dogs from different households. This is just something I do for a little extra cash and some fun dog time. I'm here to make your dog feel safe and cared for while you travel the world. I take dogs out first thing in the morning, and am home to accompany them throughout the day unless I'm running errands or working at a coffee shop. Dogs have much attention and are taken out regularly for breaks. I have a big yard with no fence but a yard spike and nearly 100ft of leash that dogs can use to explore the yard and nap in the grass. They also like my front and back porches and back staircase, because it lets them see down on the yard from a high perch. There's a lot of room for dogs to roam in the house and find new places to nap. I keep a bowl of water filled in the kitchen and take them out for regular breaks. I give them treats and tell them they're good boys, because I believe in positive affirmation. I work from home, so I am largely available to dogs throughout the day and night. I leave for errands and to work in coffee shops, and for social events, but most of my day is spent around the house and in the company of your pup. I stay near them and use a leash and familiar commands. I have 10” leashes and a long yard leash on a spike for the front porch and yard to let them enjoy nature without running off. A dog running of is the absolute last thing I want to happen, and I am vigilant about keeping them either in the house or restrained (with a long leash).
15. Amanda B.
“5 stars for Amanda! She has been caring for my poodle Kiki over the last 3 years when I’m on vacation and always does an amazing job! She follows my notes for feedings and walks meticulously and always leaves my home nice and clean. Kiki loves Amanda so much and it makes my vacation enjoyable to know that Kiki is safe and happy when I’m away. I would HIGHLY recommend Amanda to anyone looking for a top notch pet sitter :)”
16. Melissa L.
“You won’t find a more loving animal sitter than Melissa. She is the epitome of an animal lover. Melissa has shown nothing but warmth and attentiveness to my two dogs and understands exactly what my expectations are for taking care of them the way that I do and applies it whenever she’s around my pups. I highly recommend Melissa if you’re looking for that person who cares deeply for animals and shows that care 100% when she is responsible for them.”

19. Rachel P.
“Hi, Im Aubrey, Rachel’s neighbor. She would make an excellent pet walker or sitter. She and her family have looked after my 3 dogs numerous times and always did a great job. She is a wonderful person who you can trust with your furry family!!”
20. Alissa R.
“Alissa has taken care of our animals on numerous occasions - I've known her for many years and trust her completely. She goes above and beyond - even visiting the pets MORE than we paid for each day because she just wanted to make completely sure they were cared for in our absence. I am a very protective animal mama and would cancel a trip before I would leave my pets with just anyone or heaven forbid, board them - and I can't recommend Alissa highly enough.”
