About: I got my first family dog when I was in middle school, no professional experience but I know to handle and care for dogs, wanting to gain some professional experience I currently work part time, about 30 hours a week. Weekday evenings after 5, Friday afternoons/evenings, and weekends are free! Looking to help with short term dog care as I gain experience in pet care. I don’t currently have any pets, but I have a spacious apartment with a fenced in backyard and a small front yard. Near lots of parks.

About: I have had a pet everyday of my life that I can remember! Dogs of all sizes and always the rowdiest cats. I always make it my goal to build a mutual trust with any pet I meet, and I would love to build a relationship with your pets, too! While I’m new to Rover, animals have always been second nature to me. I do work full time, but I am a nurse that only works 3 shifts a week so I have a lot of time during the week to help you out! I will make sure I always nearby to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for! I have pet sat for plenty of family/friends in my time, so I will always treat your home with respect. My main goal is making sure your pet is taken care of, so I will do my job with them and then head out! In my own home, I only have the one orange kitty who is great with other cats. I am always happy to let you come meet him and see my home to make sure it is a good fit for you!

About: I take my dog (Louie) on walks daily, so I would love to add your dog to our routine! I’ve been dog sitting for 20+ years, in addition to my family always having at least one dog. I personally love smaller dogs. I have experience with rat terriers, cavapoo, yorkies and cavalier king charles breeds. I love pets and think they’re so important to a family! Let me help you keep your pet happy and healthy 😁 I live on the Plaza so I’m in a very walkable part of town, near many parks. I walk my dog in the evenings after work - a quick workout for both of us. We love to walk around Kansas City together! When I’m home, Louie is always right by my side - on the couch, in bed or even while I’m cooking. I crate him most nights and while I’m at work. I live in an apartment so walks are very necessary - we go on at least one a day or we run in my apartment’s dog park. Would love to add your dog to the mix!

About: I am a huge animal person and love to take care and play with your pets of any kind! I have been cat sitting and dog walking for years for family and neighbors, and have always been there for even a short pop-in visit. Working in my local animal shelter I specialized in both feline and canine care, and know everything about keeping your pet happy and healthy. I have two cats of my own that I treat like my babies and grew up with dogs all my life, and I hope I can treat your pets as good as my own! I am currently working part time with a varying schedule, but will typically have the same days off every week which will allow me to have a more consistent schedule when caring for your pet. I will always approach a new dog or cat with caution and assess their behavior before jumping right in, not only for my well-being but also theirs to avoid any extra stress.

About: I have cared for my friend’s dogs while they are away many times. I enjoy providing animals with enrichment and making sure they get ample exercise. I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I have lots of experience with sneaky animals who love eating things they are not supposed to eat or hiding in places they should not be. I am diligent with putting away foodstuffs and making sure doors/ screens are shut. Please let me know if your pet has these behaviors so I can be prepared before the visit.

About: I’ve loved animals of all kinds since I was a kid! For the last 8 years I have worked as a veterinary assistant working hands on with pets of all kinds including anxious pets, special needs pets, and geriatric pets. I’m comfortable giving medications or following specific directions for pets that need just a little more attention. I of course love pets of all ages whether that’s playing with young pets or giving older pets more accommodations. I’m currently working part-time at an animal clinic, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pet! I go for walks twice daily already and your pet would make a perfect addition! I live in an apartment with my 13 year old cat, Juliet. Juliet is a very sweet cat but will typically hide when other pets are boarded in the home. My apartment is located in the Volker neighborhood with parks and plenty of walking trails nearby. For in home boarding, pets are welcome on my furniture including the bed. I am happy to follow any and all requests for boarding / caretaking inside your home, including giving medications either orally or injectables.

I have 6+ years of experience caring for my own cats, dog sitting, watching chickens, and volunteering through KC Pet Project. About: I’ve always had both dogs and cats growing up, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors, friends, and family, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure their pets feel safe and comfortable while they’re away. I know every pet is different, and I always take the time to give them the care and attention they deserve. I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own! I’m a college student who works part-time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule. During the summer I’m especially available, and I’m free most weekends. I’m happy to work with your schedule! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a yard but it is not fenced, so dogs will always be taken outside on a leash unless you have other instructions. I also have three friendly cats at home. If your pet is more comfortable with space, I’m happy to keep them separated or use a crate if that’s part of their normal routine. I’ll follow your pet’s usual schedule to help them feel more at home.

About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I do have a commitment to sit with a dog and two cats every Wednesday. I feed/walk/play with two dogs every evening and a long walk on Saturday afternoon. I clean a home once a month on my schedule. I am involved in my church (Sunday worship and once a month vestry meetings). If you desire overnight stays or extended visits I’m able to do that as long as leaving for above mentioned obligations works with your pet. My specialty is senior dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I am older fella and wouldn’t want to lose grip walking or caring for large dogs. Feeding/walks/medications not a problem If doing check ins I am punctual and trustworthy in your home.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, have fostered in the past, and continue to care for my friend’s pets while they are away. I am open to house-sit, drop in, or go on however long of a walk your best friend needs. I have a lot of experience taking care of pets in their own homes, making sure they are safe and comfortable. I have experience with different breeds and temperaments - cuddlers, partiers, grouches, and loungers all deserve love! I can’t wait to spend time with your best friend and give you peace of mind. I work full time, but work from home Mondays and Fridays. Currently I could do drop-ins and walks anytime Fridays through Mondays. For Tuesday through Thursday, I would only be available early morning and evening. I’m available any day for house sitting stays which includes overnight care in your home with evening and morning routines. We can discuss if midday drop-in or walk are needed on the days i’m in the office. Drop-ins include feeding, water refresh, play/potty time, and quick updates. Walks include a 30-minute walk at your dog’s usual pace, leash handling, water refill if needed, and notes to the owner. If your dog needs longer than 30 minutes, Incan also do a longer walk for an hour. I make a point to ensure pets are following their schedules and any training they are working on. I always make sure to double check any needs/wants with the owner, to make sure pets are at their most comfortable. Let me know how your pet thrives in their environment, the more details the better! About: Hello! Before I introduce myself, I think we all know the world is kind of a scary place right now. If you find that you are affected by the quarantines, experiencing a lack of work, or just need help caring for your pet during this time I will be more than happy to offer my services at a discounted rate! I have been a professional Dog Walker and Pet Sitter for the past 4 years and am looking to get more hands on experience with pets throughout the area. Dogs have a special place in my heart and I hope to provide them with the love and care they need to be happy and enjoy life. I currently have 1 very energetic dog and 2 rambunctious cats of of my own which means im oretty adept at dealing with pet sizes, needs, and strength levels. Due to this, I am very experienced with handling dogs and cats of varying backgrounds. I currently work three days a week with regular clients through my dog walking service but have no problem taking on Rover clients on weekends or late afternoons/evenings during the week! I make sure to make each and every pet I watch feel as little stress or change as possible when staying at a clients home! I always make sure to keep clients updated on their pets wellbeing and send daily updates if requested.
