About: I have raised dogs and cats through out my life, I currently have a rescue Shih Tzu named Gizmo who is nine years old and is great with other dogs. I worked at an animal shelter for a few years and also at a dog training and boarding kennel so I have experience with all breeds and temperaments as well as years of professional dog walking and pet sitting. I’m getting ready to go to school for dog grooming to add to my pet care skills and would love to take care of your pets to help make money for school! I will give your fur babies the love, care and attention they deserve. I also have experience administering medications including pills and insulin shots. I work short days outside my home starting early in the morning, but my partner works from home so your dog wouldn’t be left alone if you board with me! I’m available for in home visits or walks as well. We have a rescue Shih Tzu who is 9 years old and loves the company of other dogs, she’s not big on playing but she’s all about the snuggles and naps. I cater my care to each individual dog and am happy to discuss your pets needs. If you board with me your dog will get frequent walks and as much exercise as you request, we live in an apartment so I would be taking them out on a leash to walk around the neighborhood; we also have a fenced area specifically for letting dogs run around and play if that’s what you prefer. I am happy to crate them if you’d like or let them sleep in one of my dogs many beds, she sleeps in bed with us so she won’t mind! If I’m coming to your house I can follow any instructions you have for walking/ feeding/ administering medication I’ve done many walks and home visits for pet owners over the years, and my experience in animal shelters and dog training facilities had given me a lot of knowledge about dog behavior and needs.

He has a heart disease that requires him to have multiple medications twice daily, and she was so good with giving him the medications that she actually taught ME a new trick to use with him! Melissa is wonderful - my fearful/reactive dog has some pretty specific needs and Melissa: communicated clearly before the meet and greet; came prepared and read my dog's profile/instructions prior to the first meeting; followed my guidance during her stay with my dog! Beyond that, Melissa made me feel comfortable immediately. She is very pleasant to interact with and pays attention to the fine details - she removed her hat prior to the first meet and greet, saying "sometimes fearful dogs can be nervous with hats" - a detail that I didn't even consider before she entered my home. She follows guidance diligently and uses her experience to add extra touches I didn't even think about. I will gladly have her care for my baby again!
Kayma is the absolute best! She took such good care of my two dogs and sent me plenty of updates and pictures when I was out of town. She is kind and caring, and both my dogs and I immediately trusted her. I (like many dog parents) am very selective on who I trust with my dogs, and I felt so lucky that we found Kayma!
Patricia was amazing! She tamed our 2 extremely shy, standoffish dogs in just 48 hours- one of them was cuddling with her at the end of her housesitting stay which is just unheard of for this pup. Left the house spotless, very responsive and kept us in the loop with updates. Would highly recommend, we are glad to have found a reliable house sitting option with Patricia!
We really appreciated how well Anna took care of our pup, Fern. She communicated well, sent pictures and updates and contacted me with any questions she had. It's not easy leaving an elderly dog with anxiety, but we felt assured that she was well taken care of, and a big bonus was coming home to a clean home! Whitney did an amazing job taking care of our dogs and home while our family went on a 10 day trip! She texted frequent updates and pix of the dogs, was extremely professional yet really seemed to enjoy being around our dogs (who can be a handful).
