I am a trainer with 25 years of working with dogs of all types, including shelter dogs. I currently assist the behavior team and foster department at KC Pet Project. I mostly work from home and I will take your pup for a nice long walk every day on a different trail or to a different lake or conservation area etc. I do not usually accept new clients but a few have sadly passed away so I have a few openings. I have a regular extended pack of dogs that I have been watching for years, as needed. I don’t do daycare unless one of my clients needs it. I do have a dog-friendly home with a fenced yard and 20+ trees (lots of squirrels) and no children present or visiting. I have two easy going dogs and I may also have a foster or there may be another visiting member of the pack, so your dog does need to be dog tolerant. I keep everything very calm here and I am a huge proponent of dogs teaching other dogs. Many of the dogs that visit are only dogs that love to come and be a part of a pack experience.

Brandi took great care of my lab while I was gone for the week. She sent detailed updates, provided helpful tips, and lots of photos of their adventures with the pack! I felt totally at ease knowing he was in good hands!!
I can’t say enough good things about Brandi! It was clear that Brandi truly loved Marley, and cared for her as if she were her own dog, which made us feel at ease while on vacation for a week. Brandi has deep knowledge about dog behavior. I was impressed by how well Marley listened to her after just their first meeting. She is an amazing communicator and sent photos and videos daily. Marley clearly bonded with both Brandi and Mike, enjoyed their daily adventures, and felt like a true member of the pack. We will definitely use their services in the future. I would highly recommend them!
If I could give Brandi 100 stars I would. She’s was absolutely brilliant with my 3 dogs for the week I was on a work trip. I couldn’t have asked for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Our dog loves staying with Brandi! She has so much fun and we love all the picture and video updates. It’s our dog’s home away from home.

Schedule
I work from home part-time and my schedule is my own and it basically centers around the dogs. Taking dogs for an adventure is always my first priority every day. I fit errands in around their nap schedule

Safety, trust & environment
I am very aware of safety and I keep my eyes on the dog/s. They are always with me. I have a fenced back yard and if I have to run an errand and they can’t come with me, I leave them in my dog friendly living room that can be closed off. They can also be crated if preferred.
Pets
A typical day
Everyday, we go for an adventure to a different area for a long walk on a trail or to the lake. After that, I work from home and they are inside with me with lots of breaks in my backyard.
