1. Lily H.
About: I have a pet of my own, specifically a cat. I have taken care of many of my families dogs and cats when needed. I play soccer at UMKC and am able to keep up with high energy dogs. I am currently going to school at UMKC and will have lots of time in my morning and throughout the day to come by and check on your loved ones! I am not in season at the moment, so I will be available on weekends. I will be respectful to your home by taking my shoes off and being calm and quiet when entering the home. I will lightly call for your pet while cracking the door open to let them know I am not a threat.

3. Jessica M.

4. Keele M.
About: Hi. My name is Keele. I love animals. I admire pet parents who use these services to provide their loved one/s the opportunity to have their own vacation while they are on theirs. Our guests can play, run in the yard, enjoy walks, squirrel watch, and take couch naps. All of those activities offer enrichment which has a positive impact on keeping your pet healthy and happy while you are away. That is why I am committed to delivering that vision so clients can have peace of mind and enjoy their time away knowing their loved one is having the best care. To answer some commonly asked questions: ANXIETY: Walks. After drop off they will get a walk. This helps decrease their initial bout of anxiousness. I also try to keep them engaged as to not allow boredom to creep in and breed anxiety, confusion or worry. DOG PARKS: I do not take client’s pets to dog parks. This is for their safety from other dogs. SLEEP: Pets have full roam. Most guests jump in our King bed and snuggle on us and our two dogs, but they are more than welcome to cozy up anywhere please. I make my own schedule. Pet care is top priority with an emphasis on exercise. Once we work out the details I adjust my schedule accordingly. Fenced Yard is first on the list for physical safety. For emotional safety and wellness we respect guests personalities and can read their mood. We do not force petting or engagement. We do not yell, spank or boss animals around. Enforce physical boundaries when needed. If my dog wants to play and we can see our guest is tired we will take our to another part of the house where either me or my husband are and put the door so they can stay in the room we are in to give your pet a break.
5. Melissa L.
“Melissa is the best! She always takes excellent care of my sweet kitty boy Prince when I am out of town. I can tell by the pictures and updates she sends me that he has really bonded with her. He’s a very sensitive cat and needs a lot of attention. I am so grateful to know that he is being well taken care of and loved on when I’m away! Melissa has great communication and genuinely loves animals. Your fur baby is in good hands with her!”
6. Sean L.
“Sean is a FANTASTIC pet sitter. He took amazing care of our dog for 5 weeks. I was a little nervous at first, because our dog is so protective around me and at times anxious when I'm gone. Sean was completely undaunted by my dog's initial barking at their first meeting. By the end of day one, we got fotos of Sean and our dog hanging out together. Then came the videos of our dog going absolutely nuts with happiness upon Sean's return from an outing. Our dog LOVES Sean. Whenever Sean comes to visit, our dog swoons with excitement and is happier to see him than anyone in the world (other than my son or me.) Could pick a greater guy for the job.”
7. Tori G.
“Tori was absolutely amazing! Really took the time to understand my girl's needs before and during the visit! Even was able to make it a little earlier since I got called into work early. I would highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again!”
8. Rodrigo P.
“Rodrigo was on time and took great care of our sweet doggy walking her all over the place. He seems very responsible and I felt super comfortable leaving our dog in his care.”
9. Amanda F.
“Amanda is a trustworthy pet sitter/walker. She has taken care of my corgi, when I'm out of town and has taken him on a walk while I was at work. My corgi has leash aggression, and it is something we are working on. Amanda followed my specific instructions when taking my corgi outside on a walk. Ex: where to take him, how to hold my Corgi's leash, distancing away from other dogs while on the walk. It eased my anxiety that she followed these instructions and was good to know that she really cared about my corgi and his safety.”
10. Rachel B.
About: All my life I have had dogs and cats at home. I’ve always enjoyed not only spending time with my own pets, but also my friends and neighbors pets! I’ve pet sat on many occasions for both dogs and cats (and even a turtle!). I am a pet lover and I am more than happy to take care of any other pets you have besides your doggo. I will gladly scoop some poop and feed all the pets you have! Along with dog walks, I would love to take your dog for a run too (only if they like running of course)! I can’t wait to love on your fur babies and make sure they feel comfortable and loved when you’re away from the home.
11. Carson L.
“Carson is a very responsible and loving pet sitter. She is very conscientious with our cats when we are out of town. Besides checking to make sure they have food and water she also always spends time playing with and loving on them. She has also walked our dog when we were out of the house for many hours. We have known Carson for a long time and trust her with our home and our beloved animals.”
12. Kaylin B.
“Kaylin is an animal lover and has a unique calm about her that I have observed be compatible with even the most anxious of dogs. Kaylin is good at reading different pets and knowing what they need. Whenever she has babysat my animals in the past she understands whether they want to play, cuddle, or have their space. She is responsible and treats people’s pets like her own.”
13. Trent & Kalyn S.
“Trent is the best! My golden retriever and I miss him so much since he moved to Portland. Trent is reliable, always on time, and does a fantastic job communicating with me. He always shared videos of my pup when I was away and kept detailed notes around his mood, what he ate, bathroom breaks, etc. so I always knew he was in trusted hands. You should select him to care for your dog- you won’t regret it!”

Aaron is not just reliable; he goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being and happiness of every furry friend he encounters. 15. Bridget O.
About: I’ve lived with 3 dogs since I was in high school over 10 years ago and share a dog, Charlie, with my former partner, but he doesn’t live with me. I love animals and pride myself on being reliable for great care for your pet. I work from home currently so will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets and host at a restaurant for 4-5 hours at a time a few days per week, but pets are welcome if that’s too long of a gap! I don’t have any pets and live in a very walkable neighborhood with a dog park less than a block from me for dedicated play time and potty breaks.
16. Ilia S.
“Ilia was a savior! Not only did she take complete care of my pup for a weekend, I had a crisis from New York and she saved me! I'm already getting my schedule together to have her stay with my dog in upcoming weekends. 10/10”
17. Samantha J.
“My dogs and cats are like my kids and I don’t trust just anyone with them. Samantha is one of the few people who takes care of my babies and she’s wonderful! She is so responsible and loving! My dogs and cats LOVE her! She doesn’t just let them out and leave. She gives them attention and love and plays with them! I recommend Samantha for all your dog (and cat) sitting needs!”

19. Derek Z.
About: Growing up on my dad's farm from 2010-16, I cared for our 13 hunting and house dogs. This consisted of watering them, feeding them, cleaning their kennels, training them, playing with them and taking the doggos on long walks by Smithville Lake. For a brief period during the summer of 2019, I worked at Camp Bow Wow in Liberty, Missouri, performing the same duties (pun intended) listed above! I'm currently job searching, so I am available any day of the week and any time of the day. Just give me a day's notice! I live in an apartment with a nine-year-old cat who doesn't care for other animals, so my place will be out of the question, unfortunately.
20. Alisha T.
“I have a 3 year old golden doodle who has had the privilege of being taken cared for by Alisha T. multiple times. She is one of the best dog sitters I have ever experienced. As a dog owner herself, she understands the importance of giving a dog exercise. Whenever she has watched my dog she has been able to take her on multiple walks a day and show her love while I am busy or out of town. Not only is she great with dogs, but she has a way of unconsciously making you feel comfortable and like a life long friend. Her love for animals is unmatched. She has my highest recommendation for this occupation with Rover.”
