“John and Rachael are the absolute best you will ever find to care for your hounds, amazing and professional in every way! My pack is high energy and one in particular can get a little bossy around new people. John and Rachael were extremely patient and caring to ensure the little boss man felt safe and comfortable, putting his mind at ease as well as my own! They provided updates and pictures, and I could tell my dogs had a great time during their stay, getting lots of exercise in the yard and then lounging on the family as if it were their own home. The whole was family was simply fantastic in every way, they and their kids helped me move and pack up the crates, treats, and dishes, it was like white-glove service at the doggie hotel. I will for certain be bringing my crew back to them every chance I get!!”
“This was my husband and I's first time ever using Rover or dropping off our dog Teddy with someone else, and we were both very happy with Bridget's service! She really kept us at ease and I could tell that she is fantastic with dogs and treats them like their own. When we picked Teddy up he was super happy and even made some other friends while he was there. I would definitey recommend Bridget, and we already plan on using her again soon!”

“Shannon is awesome. She took great care of my older goldendoodle, and he was able to use her doggie door which was a huge plus. She walked him every morning and sent regular updates. I hope to use her next time I’m out of town if she’s available.”

“We absolutely loved Alyssa!!! She watched our very anxious pup over an extended 4th of July weekend and she was amazing 🤩. We received regular updates and fun photos. I could tell she was getting the lovings she would normally receive at home and that it’s important for us in a sitter. We usually have to medicate our pup due to fireworks and she was able to keep her clam without the meds which was fabulous! I could tell Gigi was sad to go, but rest assured we will definitely be returning customers 🐶❤️.”

“Lona and Alan were amazing at watching my baby! They have wonderful ideas and games for mental stimulation. They make sure to get all the details and preferences for caring for your pet, and are on top of sending updates multiple times a day so you don’t worry. I have no doubt for any future trips I’ll take that my dog will be in great hands!”

“Derrika was great. She took great care of our Charlie, was great with drop off and pickups, and excellent with providing updates and communication. What a blessing it is to have a safe loving home for our little guy when we’re away. Gives us great peace of mind that he’s well taken care of and loved.”

“Chloe and Collin were absolutely wonderful. I always get nervous because of Babs’ diabetes, but because of Chloe’s updates I was able to fully relax while out of town. They treated her like family. I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful family to watch my sweet Babs.”

“Sharon and her husband and granddaughter were great with our senior rat terrier. He takes meds and they had no problems giving them to him. They gave him lots of love and snuggles! I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!”
“We can’t be happier to have Luna in care of Griffin & Gloria. Luna plays all the time and they make sure I get videos updates every day to see her having fun”

“Linda was amazing! She was an absolute lifesaver and did great with my little dog (who can be a bit energetic and needy at times). Linda never missed a beat, and even sent little updates on how she was doing. Highly recommend, and your dogs are in EXCELLENT hands with her!”

“Nicole is the reason I was able to spend a week with my GREAT grandchild whom I’d never met! Knowing Loki wasn’t simply cared for, but loved and treated like one of the family, gave me the peace of mind I needed to do this. He always has such a good time with her kids and dogs… to the point he mopes when he has to come home. As soon as I show him a picture of where he is going he gets excited and wants to grab the leash to go. If that doesn’t say exceptional care.. nothing does! Thank you , Nicole. You will always be my first choice from now on! Y’all are amazing and a perfect fit for a high energy dog whom still thinks he’s a puppy! ❤️”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was just 7 years old. My passion is caring for others. I know how to work with dogs with emotional and behavioral issues. I am able to care for 3 more dogs at a time. I have a large basement with an unfinished room that I put a baby gate up for the door and I have 2 kennels. If I have 3 dogs at once I will rotate the dogs out to make sure that one does not have to stay in a kennel too long. I will ensure your doggy always has food and water available and frequent bathroom breaks with plenty of love and social time. I have a semi big yard with a 20 foot tie down lead to ensure your dog has enough room to run around but won't get away. “Amanda was willing to come check on our cat last minute. She is very communicative and quick to respond. I feel like she's a true cat person, so I was comfortable with her caring for ours! Will not hesitate to book with her in the future.”

“Connie provided excellent care. She was prompt and provided us with detailed updates. We had peace of mind while away. She also did other things that were helpful. We would recommend Connie and will be using her in the future for our pet needs.”

“Katie was great taking care of our kitty’s while we were out of town! Our kitty’s are spoiled and needy and I really appreciated the care she gave to our kitty’s. The daily updates with pictures meant a lot. She even watered my plants. We will definitely use her again!”

“Meggie is an absolutely amazing sitter. She was so kind and thoughtful from the beginning. She was very flexible with my schedule and so accommodating of all my requests for my cat’s care. She truly went above and beyond and my cat clearly felt very comfortable with her. 10/10 would absolutely recommend”

“Tiffany did a great job visiting Bootsy while we were out of town. Everything went as expected and she makes a real effort to interact with the cat. Will absolutely use again!”

“Ashley was great! This was my first time to use Rover and I am so pleased with the service. Ashley was so good with communication, thorough and complete service, friendly, and good pictures of my cat, Luna! I would definitely recommend her for your pet care and visits.”

“Jessica was wonderful. We have a playful cat and she spent time playing with him! Would definitely recommend and use Jessica again. Great communication. Lots of pictures. A comfort when you are on vacation. Thanks Jessica!”

About: I have been a cat lover my entire life. I would go to the library as a child every few days and check out a new cat book.I am very familiar with body language, different breed temperaments, and aware every cat has their own quirks and social pace. I will do everything I can to cater to your cats specific needs and temperament. I am available in the evenings and all day on weekends!

“Olga was fantastic! Our cats typically do not do very well with temporary changes in their environment and have not done well when boarded previously. Olga sent us regular updates and photos of them and it was very clear that they got much more comfortable staying with her after a short adjustment period. Can not recommend her enough! We will absolutely bring our pets back to her in the future any time they need to be boarded! Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boys Olga!!!”

“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! Would book Saige again!”

“Rachel was the perfect fit for my cat Ruthie! She connected right away with her. I love the report card details of observations Rachel made as well as the photos or Ruthie I received from her while I was away. I would highly recommend Rachel and Rover in general. What a wonderful service they provide with wonderful caregivers!”

“Jenna was absolutely incredible! Super friendly, sent lots of photos, always made sure their food was full and their litter was clean. Gave constant updates which was deep appreciated as someone who is an anxious cat mom!”

“Lulu is so attentive to our cat Yul and our home while we are away. Her updates are the absolute best and she always puts us at ease. I would highly recommend Lulu to anyway looking for pet care!”

“Elise was great. I didn't worry about our kitties during our trip. She sent pictures of them every day and they always looked happy and content. Thanks for doing a great job Elise!”

“Our pets loved having Katy watch after them while we were out of town. We have two senior cats who both need medication/insulin twice daily, and as Katy has two senior cats and two senior dogs of her own, she is very skilled at administering medications if your pet has that need. Our cat Birdy suddenly took ill while we were out of town, and Katy was very prompt with letting us know what was happening and took Birdy to the vet when she needed professional intervention. We are grateful to Katy for her kindness and helpfulness and love for the animals in her care.”

“Great first day of hanging out at Savannah’s house. They have such a nice fenced in backyard. Can’t wait until the boys get introduced to the other dogs and get to play. Will be booking again, thank you!”

“Christine and family were great with my Beagle mix Waylon for a quick weekend boarding. Timely updates and plenty of pictures. Thank you so much!”

“I booked with Taylor to watch my dog for a couple hours one morning. He has separation anxiety. She understands the needs for a dog with SA and was able to help manage his nerves while we were gone for some errands.”

“This was the first time I had used Kaitlin for a doggy daycare visit for my pup Addie. Kaitlin took great care to re-introduce Addie to her puppy and I really appreciated that. Kaitlin kept me updated during the day. And Addie settled right in and seemed right at home. Will definitely use Kaitlin again. Mary Ann Anderson”

“Hollys communication is great! I appreciate that she was willing to cut walks short during a heat wave and hang with Pepe inside a little bit to give him the full time together!”

“Great communication. Today’s walk was flexible due to the weather. We communicated easily about the timeframe and updates around the weather. This was a rebooking and I plan to use this Walker again.”

“Kat is amazing with my little guy! He warmed right up to her which is no small feat with my anxious little dude! She is always mindful of the temp outside and does what is best for my pup! She is an awesome communicator and is really on top of things. She is also very flexible and I have really appreciated this about her!!!! About: I have a stay at home job where my hours are very flexible. I do have visits with clients that can last 1-3 hours but if I know that I’m caring for your dog I will do my very best to not schedule two visits in a day! I will spend lots of quality time with your dog and make sure it is getting more than enough love and care that it needs! I work in social work, so I usually have 2-3 visits per week that last between 1-3 hours. Other than that, and the other activities I spend my time doing, I will give your dog so much love when I am home! I am rarely ever gone for more than 3 hours at a time. I am available any day of the week on a normal week. I live at an apartment complex, but we are only on the second floor, have a good amount of space, and our complex even has a dog park!

About: My name is Jill and have been dog sitting for almost 12 years! For most of those years, dogs came to board at my home overnight. I created a full blown business and it was the most fun I've ever had with a job! But after having my human kiddos and adopting a special needs cat, I no longer offer in-home boarding. BUT I have happily pivoted to Drop-In Visits and Dog Walking during the morning and early afternoon! I am a stay at home mom and can have flexibility in my days. A little background: I am a Golden Retriever lover! We had my heart dog, Wallace, who hosted countless dogs at our house with me. He has recently passed and now we have Shadow; the most cuddly Golden I've ever met! We also have, Eugene, our Siamese special needs kitty who thinks he's a dog. My two kids and husband love helping me out with my animal adventures. If my criteria works for you, let me know! Thanks for looking at my profile and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible! -Jill I am a stay at home mom and a licensed massage therapist who works from a home office and makes my own schedule. My days are very flexible! I offer: feeding, bathroom breaks, walks outside, pets/snuggles, brushing, picking up poo, and giving oral meds. Let me know exactly what will make your pet comfortable during our visits!
“Jacki was great. She took our dog for a long walk, was right on time, and was great with communication. We would certainly book with her again and would highly recommend her. :)”

“Hailey has been our go to for weekly dog walking on Rover, she is respectful and has great communication. She is very trustworthy and we always know our dog is in great hands with her!”

About: I own a dog myself and have raised her and trained her on my own since I was 14. I love being surrounded by all types of dogs and their own little personalities. I’m a college student, so with the summer starting I want to dedicate my time spending it with dogs! I enjoy taking them on walks to give both of us some exercise! I care for my own dog by prioritizing activness. She loves to go outside, with our fenched in backyard, and we play with a ball. I also love taking her for walks. But outside time isn’t always available, so I like to teach her new tricks or (gently) play with a toy inside. I think it’s also important to prioritize their health, making sure they eat and drink plenty of water.

About: I have been a foster mom and adopter for 18 years. I fostered 50 dogs through a local rescue group. We have had 7 dogs, all but 1 are/ were snow dogs. I'm a part-time small animal physical therapist at ARC where we teach agility and obedience, help rehabilitate cats and dogs with injuries and provide quality of life rehab for seniors or the terminally ill. We took our last babies before they passed to ARC for quality of life, they had degenerative myelopathy and kidney disease, respectively. I fell in love with the place and became a PT. I have a soft spot for senior dogs, they deserve all the spoiling to make their golden years filled with love, comfort and adventure. To me dogs are equal to people and should be treated even better. I have a fenced in back yard and a home made for dogs. We have a four seasons room with a dog door to use. I split the house up according to where your dog is most comfortable while I'm out. We never miss our morning walk. In the summer we take dogs swimming at my in-law's pool 20 minutes in Blue Springs. We also have kiddie pools and a sandbox to discover toys. They can sleep in the bedroom, family room or patio room. If they are kennel training then in their kennel of course, which is in the very comfortable dog room. I am able to administer all types of medication, whether it be oral, injectable, or IV fluids. I am able to do dog CPR, we are also 5 minutes from our vet as well. My home is the ideal vacation spot for your furry friend. About this sitter: I'm a licensed Esthetician and have an in-home spa. I work at ARC part-time, just three afternoons a week. Clearly, I'm a huge dog lover. We previously fostered around 50 dogs for Furry Kids' Refuge. It is my life's work to stop puppy mills. I'm a very active person and enjoy outdoor activities. I live my life for my family and my dogs. "Be the person your dog thinks your are." Boone Pickens. Why I love dog sitting Ever since, I was a child I grew up loving dogs and wanting to stop puppy mills. I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some kind of capacity. I worked on Proposition B with the Humane Society of America. I want to help people feel confident leaving their pets when away from home. About my yard I have a 1/3 acre yard fenced all the way around. We have lots of trees and outdoor dog beds to hang out on under the hammocks. We have lots of squirrels to watch and all of our neighbors have dogs. We have a small wrap around deck that connects to our 4 seasons patio room with a dog door. My experience administering medication I am trained in dispensing all types of medicine; whether it be oral or injectable. I'm also able to do IV fluids and CPR. Your dog(s) will be a part of my family while you are away. They will go about their day doing what they normally do at home. They will be free to play and not be cooped up like at a daycare or vet facility. We have a million toys to play with and a nice neighborhood to walk in and lots of places to nap. We currently have two dogs, they both came from difficult situations, but they love to play with other dogs, it's people that can be intimidating. They prefer people that bring dogs in the house. We do slow introductions. We start with a walking meet and greet around the neighborhood and then we come in the backyard with your dog off-leash to smell and then they can all meet slowly. If all the dogs like each other then I do like a day visit if you will be gone more than a few days, so that your dog is comfy here. If you will be gone more than 2 weeks I recommend a night stay beforehand. I work part-time from home in my spa and part time at ARC on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon. We walk every morning and most days I head to the gym after. Perfect time for the dogs to decompress in their own areas and nap. I have a nice fenced in yard with locks on the gates. All dogs are separated by gates and have their own comfortable spaces with multiple rooms. All dogs are fed separately for safety.
“Lillian was amazing! We usually board our two med/large dogs, but one got a mild respiratory infection right before a big trip and we needed someone responsible and caring to come in and walk, feed, love on them and give meds while we were gone for a week. We all loved Lillian from the moment we met her. Over the course of the week, she gave us such peace of mind with detailed notes and photos to let us know how they were doing. Everything went so smoothly and we were able to enjoy our trip, knowing our doggos were in good hands. Would pawsitively recommend Lillian anytime! 🐾”

“Erika was able to meet with me on a moment's notice and was very reliable. She even worked it out to drive a little farther than she would have liked. Thank you Erika!”
“Joseph was amazing! Took great care of our Josie and the camping friends pets whom with which we are traveling. Communication was excellent and he came for a meet and greet, above and beyond!”

“Olga did so great with Thea once again. She's really good with anxious dogs. Helped me a lot with leash manners too. Thea enjoys her walks every time with Olga. Definitely will book with her again.”

“Lulu has been wonderful! She has been walking my 10 month old puppy who was not great on a leash but seems to be doing well! My puppy cries for her when she drops her off! Lulu is very punctual and professional and has answered any questions I have. She also leaves a detailed report after each walk. I would highly recommend her!”

Scooby definitely enjoyed his "vacation" with Jillian and I will DEFINITELY book services with her again! This was the first time he has been away from us overnight and we were a little worried, but the updates she provided, we felt very reassured that he was in the best hands! Thank you Jillian!”

“Jessica always takes such amazing care of our little Hallie! I very highly recommend her. Her family is so loving and wonderful, and makes all of the dogs in their care feel loved and welcomed. Thank you, Jessica!”

“Susan and her sweet family always take such great care of Charlie! They treat him as if he were their own and I think he'd rather live there. Ha!”
“MacKenzie is just so wonderful with my dog Glacier…she is an excellent communicator and Glacier is always excited to get dropped off but also ready to sleep all night after being picked up. MacKenzie is helpful with Glacier’s overall well being like helping him find what food he likes when he’s picky and treats him like one of her own dogs.”
“Dana was so fantastic! She watched our energetic pooch for two nights. And sent plenty of pics and updates of our energetic puppy having a blast in her yard and with her dog. During the meet and greet, she asked questions and graciously showed her home inside and out to see where our Boba would be spending her time. Our dog had a blast with her and we definitely will be hiring Dana again”

“Achilles has stayed with Cathy before, so we felt comfortable leaving him with her. She treats the dogs in her care as if they were her own. This was a longer stay, but she kept us up-to-date with texts and photos. She had another dog staying at the same time, and they made friends, which I think helped a lot. It certainly made us feel better. We will definitely book with Cathy in the future when we need to.”

“Olga took such great care of our puppy. I was nervous to leave her because she was still so young but Olga was willing to care for her and even worked with her on some basic training skills as well. She was very responsive to communication and sent me lots of pictures and updates. She is very knowledgeable of dogs and provides a safe and caring place for them. We’d definitely leave our puppy with her again. I highly recommend her.”
