Communication was fairly minimal—just a few brief updates and a short video—so I would have loved a bit more detail during the stay. About: I have had dogs almost all my life. From as early as I can remember I have enjoyed the character of dogs and how they interact with the world around them. Curious, loving, direct, playful, and led by natural instincts. I am a certified professional dog groomer that also offers these additional services to include well rounded pet care. I currently do work at home and can be pretty flexible with scheduling. I can take new appointments within a day or two. I prefer three days notice to cancel but handle all situations case by case. About: I’ve been owned by several (rescue) dogs and a few cats. Am capable a caring for multiple pets in household. Have lived with 3 dogs for several years. I’m good with all animals and have a tendency to make a critter calm. Senior dogs are a specialty and regular medications are no problem. Done a lot of house sitting for pets and home security. Day care and overnights easy as I am retired with only a few obligations with my time. I am retired so an abundance of time is available. I started caring for these animals at an early age, handling tasks such as feeding, scooping litter, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the chicken coop. We have an old cat with kidney and heart problems ourselves who needs to be pilled and have a cream applied to his ear twice a day. I understand how our pets are, quite literally, additional family members to the household, and I recognize the importance of ensuring they are loved and cared for, just like all of us!!! I’m a huge fan of walking and this fits into my daily and weekly routine. I also love the social aspect of meeting new people and pets are ALWAYS the best way to meet new people! I can easily drive to your home to walk your dog in the your neighborhood. I’m gentle, friendly and love a big scratch on an animals bottom(if they are welcome to it of course!)

For several years, neighbors, coworkers, and friends have counted on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets. In college, I worked as a vet tech assistant at a vet clinic in Boulder for 3 years. The experience I gained working at an animal hospital makes me an incredibly reliable and knowledgeable caretaker. I am a second year medical student and Ben works full time. I do at lot of work from home and can hang out with your pet while I study. There are some days that I am required to go in person, so they’ll have to be okay to be alone for up to 5 hours during the work day!
