I have a loving a cuddly home and treat all my fur guests as family. As someone with a senior dog, I am very patient and know how to accommate the additional needs some pets may have. With my flexible work from home schedule, I am able to be home during the week, to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, cuddle, and to play. I am also available on weekends. With the exclusion of running errands, while your dog is with me, they will never be left alone for more than a few hours extended amount of time. I have a fenced in back yard for your dog to run free in. I also have a senior chihuahua who is very chill and unbothered, so as long as your dog likes other dogs, they will get along just fine. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. I know all families have different schedules for potty and feeding times, and my schedule is flexible so I can keep your dog on track even while you are gone.

I was raised with a loving ethic about all animals, was raised around small to giant breeds! Fast forward 30 years, my husband and I have have 5 beautiful kids and 11 dogs (3 great Danes, 2 labs, 4 pretty pitties, and 2 Toy Schnauzers) and 9 cats, oh and we have have had and raised 30+ Chickens, turkeys and 16 ducks! 🙊! My experience comes from working in animal hospitals, pet stores, daycare, boarding, and rescue facilities. I've also been a dog walker for about 3 years. I worked for a dog walking company for 2 years and then started my own pet care/dog walking business called Road Dogs Pet Care and Transportation. I am a single mother of two daughters (5 & 11) and dog mom of 3 older (13,13, &15), very sweet dogs. They are all very social and well behaved. I have a large fenced in yard. I also have experience doing nail trims and offer in-home nail trims. i also have experience bathing and administering medications. I take care, safety, and love very seriously and will always do my best to make sure your babe feels as comfortable and happy as possible! Profile update: Hi, a lot has changed since I first joined Rover. I no longer have my three elderly babies as they have all passed away due to old age. We now have two new additions to our family, Six and Pepper. Six is my 2 year old Border Collie/Heeler mix. She's very spunky, sweet, and playful! Pepper is our 2 1/2 yr old 7 lb. poodle. She is basically my daughters little sidekick and spends almost all of her time with her. She sometimes thinks she's a Doberman, but she's harmless and warms up quick. Once she warms up she's ready to run with the big dogs! They're both great girls and are used to new friends and visitors often. 😊 I'm home full-time and take care of my two kids, two dogs, and our aquatic turtle. Aside from running occasional errands or appointments, I'm able to give your dog or dogs all the love, attention, and playtime that they need. I'm also available for daily dog walks if needed. I have a large fully fenced yard for them to run and play in. They are all inside and outside frequently throughout the day as needed or as they please. I'm happy to cater to any individual needs. 2/23/25 Update: Hi, so its now been about 23 years of working with all these amazing beautiful babes! Im still available for boarding, home drop-ins, and daily walks or potty breaks if you don’t have time or need any extra help. We have a new family member now. Marley is our newest baby girl. She is a two year old Dalmatian and she is super sweet and full of playful sweet energy! She gets along with everybody. :) So our household currently consists of Me, my partner, my two daughters (10 & 16), Six, Pepper, Marley, and Mr.B (Turtle). About: I currently work full-time at an animal shelter and have years of experience handling and training dogs and cats with a wide array of medical and behavioral needs. I also have extensive experience tending to a variety of other animals, from reptiles to small mammals to horses. I am comfortable administering oral and injectible meds, including subcutaneous fluids. I have worked with dogs who have different behavior backgrounds and am able to adjust how I interact with them to make sure I am able to keep everyone safe and comfortable. Compassionate care is at the center of what I do. Our animals are so much more than just pets. They are family members, they are best friends, they may be the only motivation we have to get out of bed on some days. I understand how important your pets are to you, and I strive to give them compassionate and attentive care, just as I would with my own pets. I look forward to taking care of your beloved family member! I work full time so I offer limited scheduling options, based on your needs and your dog's. I only work 4 days a week, so have much more flexibility Sunday-Tuesday. I also have the ability to utilize my lunch break to drop by in the middle of the day to let your dog out for a midday potty break and play session! I live in a home with a yard where your dog can have space to run or play in addition to daily walks. I also have a private room where your kitty or other animals could stay comfortably when they are here. At your home, I'm happy to share my space with your animals in whatever ways you allow, be it the sofa, the bed, or simply coexisting across a room!

About: I grew up in the country with at least 4 dogs in the home at a time. Took care of dogs, geese, ducks, snakes, birds, and more. Since moving to Kansas City, I’ve missed having animals in the house and would love the company. 🤍 I work 9-5 Monday-Friday. My job does allow me to bring dogs to work as long as they are potty trained. So I’m pretty flexible! I have a duplex with an unfinished basement and backyard. I can put a grounded leash in the backyard and have a ton of space in the basement for dogs while I’m not home. I do not have any pets of my own at this time due to how much I travel.

I am available during the day but I work from 1a-11a . Please note that my children may also be present at my home during the stay.
