About: I've been caring for dogs since I was 15, starting with my family dog, and now I have Nacho, my big baby! Over the years, I've had the pleasure of dog-sitting many pups. My husband and I both love dogs, and Nacho loves them too! I believe discipline and training are key for dogs, and I always make sure to put in the effort to ensure my dog is well-trained. About: As a young child I begged my parents to get a dog. I took the “D” encyclopedia into my room every night to study dog breeds. I spent years consuming every dog book I could get my hands on. I even created a dog walking business, made fliers, and handed them out to all of my neighbors. I finally got a puppy in 1st grade. She was my best friend. She went along with all of my crazy antics as I tried to make her a sled dog, a hunting dog, and even an agility dog. I also had fish, lizards, and a rabbit. About: I’ve been the resident cat and dog sitter since I was a teen in my family and friend group. I have worked with dogs big and small, and cats of many temperaments. I have been an overnight sitter for both animals, and have experience walking, playing, following routines, and making the pets feel comfortable and loved. I have followed medication routines and given medications for both cats and dogs as well when needed, and am comfortable doing so. I am currently working part time while going to grad school, so I am back and forth from the house and able to check on any pets throughout the day. My home has plenty of space for another cat to hang out. In my home, I try to make the environment as comfortable for other pets as possible and make sure they feel safe and secure as they would in their own home. As for visiting pets at their homes, I enjoy knowing their habits and preferences, so I can cater to their needs as closely to their normal lifestyle as I can. “Kristy was amazing!! She sent pictures and updates everyday and was very communicative. She took our pups on an adventure and even went the extra mile and gave one of them a bath. Ranger and Koda had a great time and will definitely be visiting again!!”
