About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, but what really sets me apart is hands-on experience actually raising and training one myself. I grew up training my German Shepherd from a young age, which taught me patience, consistency, and how to understand dog behavior, not just watch them. As a student athlete, I’m very active, so I naturally bring a lot of energy to walks, playtime, and keeping dogs engaged. At the same time, I understand that every dog is different, some need structure and training, while others need calm, gentle care, especially seniors. I’m comfortable reinforcing basic training, handling larger or high-energy breeds, and making sure pets feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I don’t just “watch” dogs, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and building trust. As a college student athlete, I keep a very structured schedule, which actually makes me reliable and consistent when it comes to pet care. I also work part-time at a golf course, but I’m looking to spend more of my free time doing something I enjoy, being around dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because it gives me a break from school and sports while still staying active. With the exclusion of running errands, while your dog is with me, they will never be left alone for more than a few hours extended amount of time. I have a fenced in back yard for your dog to run free in. I also have a senior chihuahua who is very chill and unbothered, so as long as your dog likes other dogs, they will get along just fine. I do let dogs sit on the couch and get on the bed, however, I will respect that boundary if you do not allow that for your pets. I know all families have different schedules for potty and feeding times, and my schedule is flexible so I can keep your dog on track even while you are gone.

I am careful around new dogs to let them show me what kind of care they prefer, and strive to make my time with them as enjoyable as possible for both of us. I have full time evening employment. I am available to care for pets Sunday-Thursday 9am to 2pm (meaning my latest available visit would start at 1:30pm for an 30 min visit), and All day Fridays and Saturdays! I feed my dogs twice a day, but can adjust to your dogs feeding schedule. I take my dogs out to potty about every 4 hours, but again, can adjust to your dogs potty needs.
