“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! My kitty is almost 16 years old and I just really wanted that reassurance of having someone around more often than just bopping in for 15 mins a day - so I’m thankful for finding this service and the sitting going smoothly! About: I've had pets for ages, cats & dogs. Right now I don't have any, home is lacking! I have a special heart for smaller dogs! Right now, I'm working from home part time. So am pretty flexible watching your pet. My preference is to have your pet here in my home. I have a large fenced in back yard, dogs seem to love roaming in it! I prefer to crate at night and have always crated my dog when leaving home. I find dogs seem more secure when crated.

About: Your pet is treated like they’re at home when you’re not. I don’t leave your pet in a kennel all day. They get to play and be spoiled. Must get along with other dogs as I have one of my own. I’m available 7 days a week after 2:00 pm. I prefer cash only or Venmo photos and short videos will be provided while you’re away. I don’t have a fenced yard but we do go on frequent walks. About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I have a lot of experience with dogs and taking care of them. Friends always rely on me for dog sitting. I love to take dogs on walks, take them to the dog park, cuddle, and make dog owners feel comfortable leaving their pet with me. I’m currently working part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I have the ability to come and let the dogs out to go potty many times throughout the day if I’m not home with them. But most of the time I would be there with them. I have a huge .5 acre fenced back yard to keep your dogs in. And two extremely friendly large dogs that always want to play. I would love to take picture of your pups and send them to you so that you know that they are happy and safe. I can crate them if you’re more comfortable with that. About: If you want to drop off your pet for day care and or over night stay, no problem. If you have an emergency and need someone on the spot just give me a call or text and I will see what I can do. If your pet is with me for day care I ask that you provide a leash, food & anything you feel your pet needs for the day. Poop bags are available at my house. If your pet is at my home for an overnight stay I ask that you provide food/water bowl, food, bed, cage if needed & anything else you feel your pet needs for the night. About: Growing up, I was fortunate to have a terrier from the time she was a puppy until her death an amazing 18 years later. She was my backyard companion. Later during my marriage, we adopted a Border Collie mix. She was such a sweetie. I loved taking her for a walk right after I got home from work. We had her for 16 wonderful years. At the same time, we had 2 cats. The male contracted FIV, so I worked with the vet and arranged weekly then monthly immunity shots. We had him for a number of extended years because of the shots. The other cat was my sister's who reached a point where she could not take care of it. I adopted it and she became my buddy for many years afterward. I am retired and have time to do something as much for me as it is for you. I can easily rearrange my day to accommodate your schedule. Our cats get plenty of attention. They are housebound, but we let them out occasionally on an elevated deck that does not have stairs, so they are contained there. We have a cat tree in the breakfast room that faces outdoors to two bird feeders. There is plenty of activity, plus a feeder that attaches to the window that gets frequent birds.
