Making sure there isn’t a tiny piece of plastic or a piece of string on the ground, I’d be a fabulous caretaker for a cat with PICA. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. We do on long walks daily and often to the off leash dog park (if your dog is licensed in Minneapolis). We have a friendly cat that mostly keeps to herself around dogs, but she does not allow other cats in the home (so we are unable to board cats.)

About: I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me. I work from home and attend university online so I am home 24/7. Unless it's an emergency, I will be with your dog ALL the time I'm with them. I love and follow instructions very well and in detail pertaining to the dogs' specific care given to me. I ALWAYS send daily photos and messages with updates about the dogs.

About: Growing up on a farm in Wisconsin, I was surround with pets from the moment I was a baby. My pets have included 15+ dogs (from doodles, to german shepherds, to chihuahuas), 20+ cats, bunnies, birds, gerbils, fish, pigs, sheep, and more, all from babies until their senior years. I have always been a huge animal lover and have become the “God-Mother” of 4 cats and 3 dogs in San Francisco amongst my friend group. I spent a year on Rover in San Francisco, but have now relocated to Minneapolis and am looking forward to meeting more fur babies here! Currently my schedule is very open as I just returned to Minneapolis and have yet to begin my new job - I am ready to make lots of time for the pets of Rover! I have a lot of experience when it comes to pet-sitting in others homes. Treating your home with care and making sure nothing happens to it or your pet while your away - it’s the last thing you need to worry about while you’re away!
